@@masbaiy4858 it's absolutely Drew's acting, writing, talent, humor, and his wife Andrea's input as well. BUT, this commenter is right - how the wigs and other wardrobe styling really are definitely an amazingly helpful part of the whole transformation. It's possible that, unlike "other" channels, the wigs are better on this channel - as they're VERY character specific versus just indicating a different gender like on other channels. I mean the cut, color, hairstyle, everything, is very precise to the types of characters they're for. I mean Pickles' hair, versus Aaron versus Pam & Tim and Nicole and Brad and Terry, Bridget, Nico, etc. Their hair is all so specific to who their characters are. Drew's wigs are definitely next level.

I worked at a Buffalo Wild Wings that wanted to charge a buck a shift to the servers, I reported it to the district manager and got that shit shut down before it started. Decided to portion my ranches right outside the office while he was getting chewed out. Worst bit was that 90% of the food was finger food and we still had to give out a roll for each guest rather than as needed. Most of the time it was still rolled when we bussed the table and sent them back to be washed and rerolled.

Funny story from my restaurant job in high school: I was a junior, and a couple of senior friends on our school’s speech team, who knew where I worked (a well known, family-owned pizzeria in town) approached me and asked if I was willing to steal a small plate from the restaurant and give it to them. Turns out, the speech team has a very secret annual tradition where all of those who qualify for state meet up, steal a plate from the pizzeria, and then break it into pieces for each of them to keep. I seriously considered helping them, but since I had just started working there in the last month and didn’t want to risk my job, I politely declined. Plus, I figured that the fun in the tradition was the theft, and that the tradition would be ruined if I did all the work for them. Last I heard they managed to snag one on their own, and the tradition is still alive today.

Omigosh I just remembered how I got my toaster oven tongs! I was at a restaurant yeeeeears ago and the ice tongs looked like weird, three-toed bird legs (coz birds' legs aren't straight like tongs), as if Edward Gorey had designed them. Just cheap die punched metal, but still pretty cool, the claws curved like they're holding an invisible ball or marble. I was so charmed by the weird little gothic horror tongs, I asked the waitress which supplier they got them from. I think I must have made her day, coz she said "keep them!" "What? No! I don't want to get you in trouble!" Lol, she came back with a pair from the cutlery stand, wrapped in a paper serviette, and placed the bundle in my lap surreptitiously, with a conspiratorial "shhh!" I still have them, how could I have forgotten they have an origin story? 😂💖

No, it just means all the forks/knives/spoons so that we don’t need to say all three. Tip: Whenever using magnets to catch or clean up something ths is dirty/messy, wrap your magnet in cling-film first. Then all you need to do to perfectly clean off the magnet, is peel off the plastic. Especially handy when using it in the garage or some other place with a lot of magnetic little debree, which can be a Nicole and a half to clean off properly when stuck straigh to the magnet. If it's a powerful magnet; use some plastic with a bit more tensile strength than kitchen cling-film. Or do a couple of sandwiched layers if you have that stronger vinyl clingfilm.

When you're a dishwasher, you may not know about any silverware in there until the bag tears when you lift it out of the bin 🙃 Or another thing, people don't warn the dishwashers when the garbage is getting full or heavy, they just let it continue to pile up and when you go take the garbage out, they're pretty heavy to take out of the bin along with the suction. And after all of that food, some liquid, (and possibly silverware) sits there for so long, the cheap ass bags will leak and tear as you pull it up to put in a bigger garbage can. And well, I'll try to take that bag and double it but that means I have to lift it again and try to put it back into a normal can followed by it going back into the bigger can I wish we had Aaron on my team to do the garbage lmao. He could stop serving for a bit when he has no tables and get the trash so the dishwasher could continue doing dishes and not let the pile get too high for them :)

Yay Nicole! I definitely agree with the comment hair shape is important to character and identity 💯 But, let's not forget Drew makes, and is, the identities and that is a huge factor.

Those magnetic trashcan covers are like the filthiest thing in restaurants. I always hated cleaning it because I was the only one that did

Reminds me of that TikTok video of the girl showing off all the crockery she had stolen from restaurants over the years. She had whole place settings and dozens of those things sauces and soups come in. Stored them in a basket she stole from a store, too. Some people will steal you blind.

As a beginning grunt worker in the kitchen they had us digging silverware out of the garbage. Ugh it was gross. We picked out over 50 sets of silverware and some wrapped in the linen still one morning and my boss went ballistic. For every piece of flatware he caught you throwing out he fined them $2. After that. No more silverware in trash.I I

That being said, I love how Nicole find the most innovative ways to remain absolutely apathetic towards her job. I wouldn’t fire her either… She’s earned the right to be, well, her.

My daughter worked at a small diner and the owner made the staff go through the trash every night for silverware. I’ve also seen it done at another restaurant. Gross and insane

I worked as a dishwasher at a place with those magnetic silverware catchers. They weren't anywhere near reliable, got horribly dirty, and were just generally an awkward pain.
