There is something about the first time you are sick when you have young kids that gets stamped into your memory. You can go through others and not have as vivid of a memory.

Wow very impressive Trey that you’ve made Beef Wellington!! 👏🏻I’ve watched cooking shows about how to do it, but was too intimidated to try. Our family tradition was always prime rib after the Christmas Eve service. 😊

Our 18 month old boy just had RSV and our week looked very similar to your weekend (minus a newborn) 🙃🙃 Life is already chaotic with a toddler but a SICK toddler… 😭 got a lot of sweet snuggles and binge-watched Sesame Street but it was rough. Also didn’t want to eat or drink anything. Bless y’all for getting through it with two under two! And thanks for sharing your experience so we can commiserate 🫶🏼

Allow me to tell you about the worst sick experience of my life: I was 1 week postpartum after having my 3rd child. Pregnancy/labor had been rough, and I had the worst h-roids, I couldn't sit or stand. The baby was colicky, so we're getting no sleep. My husband had to go out of town for work for a couple days, so I had a friend volunteer to watch my older kids for a day (🙏🏼). The night before, we all started throwing up. I was cleaning the toddler's puke, the oldest could no longer help out, and I remember throwing up into the toilet WHILE nursing my baby. I got no sleep, every part of me hurt, and I was taking care of 3 crying kids by myself. And then on top of it all, I didn't get my chill day. My kids were not the only ones crying. BUT... We survived, and now it's a "remember that one awful week?" story from 10 years ago. 😉

Poll time. When someone in your family is sick do you avoid them or try and get around them to get sick and get it over with.
@CherryPoptart90Күн бұрын
Well Moms don’t really get that option…lol we get sneezes right in our mouths trying to help them get dressed. True story and I got sick…Yay being a mom. 😂

Family with five kids, when we had three young kids and infant twins and we all came down with norovirus (both ends). I literally just sat on the toilet with a bucket and cried and thought we were all gonna die!! Good luck 👍

“Red One” on prime is a good action Christmas movie! With the Rock. It was different and good for 8-10 older kids.

Dude, when you said not getting more than 5 hrs of sleep I laughed out loud. My son is 13yrs and I can’t remember the last time I slept five hours. My son had colic for the first 4 months, when he slept he would only do it in 45 min increments and it had to be in his vibrating bouncy or in the crook of my arm. I didn’t know whether I was coming or going and his dad thought it was so funny to have his ringtone for me be our son screaming, like a feral cry during peak colic time. My son is autistic and children in the spectrum tend to have a lot of sleep issues, and it’s hard. He can go and go and go on nothing. I’m a single mama in GI failure, and turning 39 Friday…I’m exhausted. Cherish those 5 hours as ok g as you can!

oh my son was a night owl from day one . we did everything we could to get him to sleep at night. It never happened the first year, or even the second year. I definitely understand

both of my kids had tubes... and they were blue ... neither had actual drainage afterwards. It's not as bad as you think. Watching the kid come out of anesthesia is worse than anything because they're so inconsolable! * Christmas Chronicles is so good! * I'm "only" 36 but I've followed Jon Benet's story for YEARS. Her mom has since passed, but I pray her father gets answers before his time comes. BUT I also pray none of the family was truly involved like people claim. I'm pretty sure I read that her dad received $118,000 for something around that same time hence the amount requested in the ransom note.

oh I have followed since day one. I hope it wasn't the family either but it's crazy how no one has been charged like it was done then they vanished. I pray for answers

20:40 solidarity over this last weekend. It’s true how awful everyone having the stomach virus in your household is. Thursday to Friday - my 2 year old threw up everywhere. Friday - Saturday was my 4 year olds turn. Then all day Saturday was my turn as my 2 year old was recovering and my 4 year old was at the end of his throwing up. Then Sunday was my poor husband’s turn (who was taking care of us all weekend). Our house smelled awful by the end of the weekend
