I have a sneaking suspicion that kate nye's deadlift wasn't 273 kilos. Or maybe she competed in the usapl with larry wheels who knows. Edit: As evidenced by the replies it seems many didnt get that this was a joke. Full disclosure: there is no way she could have deadlifted that weight. For reference the IPF women's world record deadlift for an 84+ is 270.5.

2:40 Four years at 15 is very different to 4 years as an adult. It’s still an advantage to start as young as possible but the progress that can be made at that age is insane, compared to a few years later when you’ve probably missed the opportunity to be great

You can see the potential- but even more noticeable is the absolute progression these lifters have made through refining technique and developing physically.

"Did we learn anything here?" Yeah, that drugs work. Throw drugs in with great coaching, optimal training environments and controlled nutrition plus a little genetic basis and of course you will get highly effective lifters and a higher probability of getting "great" lifters. It's a tad silly to hang their success on them just "being born" to lift. But I fricking love the channel! Hahaha. I just wish we were all a little more realistic about the environments these lifters are being trained in.

I really wonder how much of it is genetic vs just really good coaching and dbol from a young age. I'd really love to take somebody genetically "average", start with an intelligent and progressive performance enhancement protocol, and do some very intelligent and belaboured coaching. I'm betting they'd be at least 90% as good as Lu.
