Bouncers beemer don't get your wickets yes wickets was not that prepared but in india domestic level same situation is still on not in big tournaments but club matches of big clubs like KIOC vs Just cricket. Every era has different challenges and great batsman get used to it i believe virat would have played same way in that era because at the end of the day its all about your mindset.

Yes. Then, it might be a one man show in the entire tournament. Further, hell lot of new balls are needed to be used if he bats because the boundaries are short and he will easily hit outside the stadium. He will easily help the team score to be around 300-350 in T20 if he bats for the entire match. In those days, he used to wear a cap but now, he doesn't need a cap and even a guard.😂🤣😅

I have been following cricket since 1958 i.e. for 62 years. I have many favourites in West Indies cricket. I love Sobers, Clive Loyd, Brain Lara and Vivian Richards among batsmen. Vivian was terrific with his chewing gum, swagger, contempt on his face for the bowlers and of course his batting.

Hands down, the Master is King Viv. The swagger, the confidence, the timing, the power, the undisputable “Cool” he exuded and his elegance.... none since have matched that. He remains till date, perhaps the greatest batsman of all time. I still remember this one time I was living in Delhi and India played the West Indies at the Feroz Shah Kotla. There were prayers offered at the local temples for Viv’s quick wicket. Unfortunately for India, even the gods wanted to watch Viv bat that day and the man scored a glorious 109.... great to see Virat Kohli show Viv the respect and reverence.

@@rohita06 The greatest one day batsmen of all time are ad devilliers and viv richards in terms of impact, however when factoring longetivity, sachin and virat probably beat them. However in terms of sheer dominance, stroke making and overall charisma, strike rate it is viv richards. The greatest batsman of all time in tests and even greatest in general is Sir Donald Bradman, a batsman who was the greatest run accumulator of all time, and nearly as great as viv or abd in terms of strike rate on his day.

I am 18 now, I always have heard of sir vivian playing the game , and just from words I wish I could see him play. From things like his chewing gum and not wearing helmets being still spoken you know his impact on the game.

That shot was of the highest calibre. One of my fav shots alongside that square cut and slog over mid off against Faulkner in t20wc 2016, six off harris rauf in t20wc 2022 and effortless cover drive for six off Corey Anderson.🔥
