I am so glad you endeavor to keep the scriptures simple to understand without adding so much speculation and adding and subtracting and dividing as so many are doing trying to force these verses into the 20th and 21st century. Keeping the prophecies in the first century and concerned with the old covenant fading away to make way for the new covenant, the Levitical priesthood of John replaced by the priesthood of the eternal Melchizedic, the destruction of the temple and the tearing of the veil and Daniels prophecies with the timetable of the salvation of the comming Messiah. To say there is to be a new temple with a renewed sacrificial system and this being accommodated by evangelicals is blasphemous and this nonsense should stop. Thank you for level headed thinking. Since Revelation is about symbolisms, why is the casting out to earth not also a symbolism? The question should therefore be, what is the meaning of the casting out? It follows then, that any applied meaning remains ambiguous, depending on the speaker's religious disposition. Why would a God (as defined) leave such wide room for assumptions, except perhaps it was meant as a mental exercise of each reader's imagination? Similar parts of the bible should not be treated as a mathematical text, requiring each part to be solved to certain decimal places. Sometimes we read more into the accounts than is actually there. what do you think? Incidentally, I love your devotion.

Satan has always, even as of today, had access to heaven. Again, unfortunately, like most, she hasn't, at my guess, had any discipleship training.

The issue I have with book of Enoch is its not inspired by Holy Spirit or ‘God breathed’ but rather reads like an attempt by the fallen angels to excuse their behaviour. So its from their POV. Therefore I urge caution. Its their take on things and therefore skewed. Not entirely truthful.

God is not a God of confusion and would never put a confusing doctrine like the Trinity in the Bible. God called Jesus his son. God would be lying if Jesus is God himself. But God doesn't lie, mankind does. So mankind writes the Bible in such a way that it suits their beliefs. Not how it was originally written. The Bible mentions other books also. Book of wars, book of jubilees, etc... those aren't in the Bible. Does it mean it's not God breathed or God inspired? No. Man likes to control what people believe to be true. I read KZbin policies but couldn’t find anything applicable to my website which is my testimony to Jesus and rebuttal to WT doctrine (one point which is the topic of this video of yours). I mean the book of Genesis is pretty straightforward about Satan thru the serpent tempting Eve into sin. Now if at this point Satan had the ability to tempt humanity into sin he himself must of already been in sin. Holy angels don't tempt man to sin, but to do the will of God. This puts his fall from his original God ordained place before the creation of earth and humanity easily. Now heaven can mean three different places. Heaven as in sky, heaven as in outer space, heaven as in the 3rd heaven where God dwells. Satan's temporary ability to appear before God as in the book of Job and as in being the accuser of the brethren who accuses them before God day and night. Is not the same as his original dwelling place with and before God.

Our Father told Christ to "Ask of Me"...not Ask of the devil. Actually, Jesus was speaking as though Satan was already thrown out of Heaven, at Luke 10v18, when in actual fact, later when he was back in Heaven as Michael, at Rev. 12v7-9. Was the time when He, and his Angels, battled with Satan and his demons, prevailed, and threw them down to Earth, causing mankind a lot of grief, starting with the First World War, no doubt.!

Agreed @faithhopefuture. What I’ve learned over many years is how men can and do misrepresent and do embellish man ideas and conjecture. Some teach if A is equal B, then B is equal to C. But there is not that connection unless you accept it despite that it’s not reasonable to conclude. I love scripture. I listen to the Holy Spirit which always leads me only to the WORD which is THE TRUTH and who is Jesus. In Matt 4:4 Jesus told us that the only spiritual food is every word coming out of God’s mouth. He told us “Thy word is Truth and that he IS the way, the truth, and the life.” So when you read his scriptures, just believe he is telling you the truth. Don’t make it more complicated or you enter into the corruption of man’s words and possibly false doctrine.

I was wondering about what I am going to ask for quite some time. First of all I was raised a JW. Had an elder dad, pioneer mom. I never believed the nonsense put out by the GB. I have studied many eastern and western religions and sects. About 3 years ago I started a deep-dive into the KJV only issue, and the rapture, and how to divide the Bible so it makes sense. I used to attend an Eastern Orthodox church. Have stacks of books on many key issues. But it seems like once a JW walks away from the JW cult. They, in short order seem to become experts on the Bible and what is and isn't true. How is that possible? I am well versed in how they are all trained(brainwashed in my humble opinion). But they are trained with JW scripture and doctrine. Both of which are very problematic. Much of what they are taught has been considered heresy as far back as the 4th century. As I said beforehand about my current studies. 3 years in and many books, lectures, charts and rehashing things over so that I know I have it straight. Still I recognize there is much more to learn. Yet, X-JW's seem to see themselves as experts within a very short period of time. Being able to bounce around a Bible and find verses doesn't necessarily mean the way the verse is being used is correct. I like checking out X-JW channels. But many times when I hear them "interpret" or try and explain a verse....it often makes me cringe when I hear what they are saying. Anyways, I am not pointing a finger or anything like that. Just wanted to see if anyone else has noticed this phenomenon. I enjoy your channel. I may not agree with everything you say. But you're very articulate and have a nice voice. We won't have all the answers until we meet Jesus face to face and he brings the church [ekklesia] ie. those called out, together in himself. I pray and ask Holy Spirit to guide me with what I say, verses I use etc. All the books, seminaries and services in the world will not be of any use if you aren't plugged into the Holy Spirit and allowing yourself to be guided by God instead of man, because you won't know what to believe. And we are to worship God in spirit first truth second. If you are lacking the spirit, as Jehovah's Witnesses are, you won't have truth either.

"Satan" is a metaphor for the "carnal mind" of man. "heaven" is a metaphor for the 'Higher Mind' that is "God" or "Spirit" ( John 4:24 ) "Satan" ( the carnal mind of man ) was "cast out of heaven" at the cross, when the man "Jesus"......"died" to his 'carnal mind'....aka the "serpent". The 'carnal mind' ( Satan / devil / serpent ) was cast out of the minds of the "elect" ( true church ) and into the "earth" ( the carnal minded Christians ) who are deceived . The book of Job doesn't say where exactly the meeting of the Sons of God was but satan had access to that meeting so when you read the book of ISAIAH chapter 14 you might realize that lucifer was already cast out so your speaking without knowledge

Job says the sons of God presented themselves in front of the Lord so that would be in heaven. This is confirmed by Satan admitting when questioned that he had been going to and fro from the earth - at that point he had free access to both. Isaiah 14 is prophecy as some of it we are still waiting to be fulfilled - satan has not yet been confined to hell. Sadly. I wish he were already but no, we have a few rounds of fights left! So recently I’ve concluded based on this particular scripture that women ought not to pray over the whole of the congregation which includes men. I believe they ought not to preside over the congregation nor teach over the congregation that includes men. We also have distinct qualifications that an elder or ministry servant (Aka Deacon) should meet. Mainly the elders must be men. The Deacons should be men as they are often the ones to take on the role of elders in shepherding the flock. Let’s skip admin roles for now. But isn’t it true women are preachers of the Good News of God’s Kingdom as a discharge of duty as a disciple of Christ? Are they not acceptable evangelizers in the grass roots ministry? Honestly, you know many are even more knowledgeable and enlightened in the Word. Women have a role in the congregation and should be teachers of the younger women and children when separated from the whole of the assembly. (Darn technical glitch I lost 3 paragraphs). To resume. Are not women disciples? Are they not sometimes (or often) more qualified in knowledge and enlightenment of the Word? Are they not an army in grassroots ministry to help others come to know Christ? Yes! The only restriction is to teach or pray over the congregation. Samantha is witnessing here. You are not necessarily part of a congregation itself. You don’t have to watch her channel and she is not leading anyone in prayer. So while I appreciate the scripture and believe it applies to the congregation, it doesn’t apply here to restrict her from giving her viewpoint on scripture.

I have questioned whether this truly is part of what Paul wrote because of how it sits in the text - it emerges randomly out of context. There is evidence to imply this was an issue in Corinth because of the pagan worship in the city being led by female priestesses - by most Bible scholars not considered a principle to apply to all believers at all times. Because that conflicts with the rest of the Bible. We cannot cherry pick. And what exactly are you trying to say? I know my gifting is to teach, it is also my calling, divinely ordained. @@prl.5108 I was reading the Bible with a friend when he was revealed that religion is the AntiChrist and as such we will see religious entities removed, starting with JW org then Catholics, Islam etc. The structures will all come crashing down as Jesus completes the separation work. He will call out his own from each group as they fall. The meaning of the word ekklesia is apt - those called out by Christ. Not a church or denomination, building or organisation. Rather the people, the elect, the saints. Whatever you prefer to call them. I’m not religious at all rather all about having a personal connection with God, this is spirituality. Dear Samantha, Satan is casted down in Rev.9:1-2. He is the star falling from Heaven, when the 5th trumpet is sounded, which means during the Great Tribulation, not before. Jesus identifies Himself as the bright mourning star in Rev.22:16, 2:28. As angels are heavenlig beings, Satan, is a fallen angel and the falling star in Rev.9:1-2. When he hits the Earth, he will cause locusts come out of the pit to torment the inhabitants of the Earth for 5 months. The locusts are demons. Now, I am not implying that Jesus is an angel. The angel in Revelation 9:1,2 is identified in 8:10,11 already as Wormwood. Also referenced in 2:28 - KJV being the clearest as the morning star, also called Wormwood emerges, a gift from Jesus to Father. Wormwood is also entrusted with the keys to the Abyss or hell to unleash this attack. I have heard it said that for those going to heaven earth is the closest place to hell they will experience. For those headed to hell earth is the closest place to heaven they will ever experience. Perhaps this taster of the torment of hell will make some without the seal of God rethink their choice before it’s too late!

Jesus is called morning star but so is satan so in this Revelation narrative Wormwood replaces eventually the position satan lost. Hence he is a gift to Father, replacing the position satan had before he rebelled. Satan was removed from heaven at the time Jesus came to earth as chapter 12 of Revelation explains. just an observation- ha Satan (hebrew=the Adversary)....whom some people refer to as `Lucifer` The only reference to Lucifer is in the King James version of the Bible- Isa. 14:12 "How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations!" This Scripture is a clear reference to the king of Babylon, not to a fallen angel, when read in context. 

Lucifer comes from the Latin words "lucem ferre" meaning "light bearer" and in the ancient Latin speaking world it was the name for the planet Venus; it was never associated with a spiritual being or a fallen angel. I totally disagree with you, it wasn't something that had already happened in John's time but was way into the future: "By inspiration I came to be in the Lord’s day, and I heard behind me a strong voice like that of a trumpet," Revelation 1:10. So John was seeing things that would happen in the future when Jesus comes as King to conquer all the rulers of this world. And there's where Revelation 12: 5 takes us, showing how God's heavenly wife like organisation gives birth to God's kingdom in heaven, where Jesus is enthroned: " And she gave birth to a son, a male, who is to shepherd all the nations with an iron rod. And her child was snatched away to God and to his throne," Revelation 12:5. The first thing Jesus does then is wage war in heaven and cast Satan down to the earth," Revelation, 12:9. Jehovah's Witnesses believe this happened in 1914CE not just because this was a time of woe, as was foretold would coincide with Satan's ousting, but because of the chronology found in Daniel and Revelation. From Daniel we get a period of 7 times where by God's permission human rule may continue, Daniel 4:16. And then in Revelation 12: 6 and 14 it informs us that 3 1/2 times = 1260 days; therefore 7 times = 2520 days. Apply the Biblical rule in Numbers 13:34 of a day for a year and then you have 2520 years. Now, if you add this to 607 BCE when the last king in the line of David was dethroned in Jerusalem then it brings us down to 1914 CE. So you see it's not magic. It's all in the Bible. This was when Jesus began his reign as the heir of David, when Satan was cast out of heaven creating a time of woe for the earth including WW1, WW2 and possibly WW3, if Jesus doesn't soon step in and bring an end to it all soon.

This explanation is a prime example of what Jehovah’s Witnesses believe. The word organisation is not used in the Bible. Thank you for giving my viewers something to consider as a contrast. The Bible is for all believers. Why would God make it complicated? He didn’t. It has to be read with Holy Spirit who teaches us and leads us to truth as Jesus promised. Jehovah’s Witnesses or the Watchtower are not mentioned in the Bible. Watchtower got its name from the occult and the tarot card depicting a tower, which was emblazoned on the cover of the original first issues. Who would you rather believe? They do teach many scriptural truths from the Bible but also add their own reasonings to say certain things are truth and from God, when they are not in the scriptures. They are reasoned out and using some mental gymnastics and false logic, they teach it as truth. These are false doctrines reasoned by men but no one reading the scriptures can make the same conclusions. But they sound so authoritative and those less familiar with scripture can be and are misled. One organization I know of teaches that believers are separated into two groups. One group can partake of the emblems at communion but the other group must not partake. That is harmful, not a Bible teaching but is derived by faulty reasoning by hubris men. Further to your question, there is an organization that believes Satan was cast out of heaven in 1914. That it was Jesus acting as the arch angel Michael that threw him down after a battle. But then what does Luke 10:18 mean? Jesus not meaning what he said at that moment? We know Jesus is sitting at the right hand of God on his throne waiting for God to put his enemies for a footstool. Does Jesus get up and battle Satan in 1914 and then where is Jesus if he isn’t at God’s right hand anymore or does he throw Satan down and go sit back down? That organization says Jesus took his throne over the earth from invisible heaven in 1916 (?) But Jesus warned us about deceivers saying they will tell you he is in the inner chamber or out in the field but not to believe them. That whole doctrine is a man made doctrine based on man reasoning. Luke 10:18 Jesus said he looked up and saw Satan falling like lightning. Why shouldn’t I believe that’s what he meant and that is when Michael had done battle with Satan. It makes sense to me because he said it and because that was the first time men using the power of the name of Jesus cast out demons on earth out of other men. This was a pivotal moment in the battle against satan both on earth and simultaneously in the heavens. Again my opinion is that it happened in Luke 10:18 because by Luke 11:2 Jesus said God’s will was being done in heaven. I believe Satan had to been thrown out so Heaven was clean to receive the resurrected Jesus back to God’s throne. After all Jesus would not have needed to give his life if Satan had not committed his crime in the Garden. If I were the father and I sent my previous son to die I wouldn’t want the evil transgressor to be in heaven anymore. Just my opinion.

Please cite what you think supports this conclusion. He only gets a mention in Genesis. Torah traditionally refers to the first five books of the Bible written by Moses. Christians reject the Jewish oral torah if that’s what you are referring to. When I read things like the supposed missing books of the Bible its clear the author is different and they sound like old fables. I wouldn’t base any doctrine on them. They are not included in the 66 books making up the Bible we use today for good reason. You are of course within your rights to believe whatever you wish.

Thank you for sharing. The understanding of Revelation ch 12 given to me is simple yet its focus is on Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour. And what happened in the spirit realm around the time of his birth. Is having to flee to another country with a newborn not persecution enough? Prophecy can also be given to explain things we could not humanly know, yes even from the past to understand the present better. The Bible is not meant to be complicated. Its for everyone. Over-intellectualising it is about us sounding clever. It should never be about us. These types of explanations fall short for those reasons. Some of the Bible is symbolic but most is literal. Revelation shows us a persecution to be What it would be like in the great tribulation or Matthew 24:9 9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. The great tribulation happened after the Lord rose from the dead. Acts 8:1-3 Saul leads a violent persecution of the young Christian church in Jerusalem. He goes from house to house, dragging men and women off to prison. When believers are found guilty of what is considered to be 'blasphemy', Saul calls for them to be stoned to death (see Acts 26:10). There is no mention of Mary being persecuted. There is many mentions of the Church being Persecuted. Can I ask, Are you a Catholic? because your interpretation is exactly like the Catholic church's interpretation of Revelation 12. Exactly. These symbols are derived from the Old Testament, where the two symbolic women referred to represent Babylon and Jerusalem each of which symbolizes a church. I have likened the daughter of Zion to a lovely and delicate woman. Jeremiah 6:2 Come down and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon… Isaiah 47:1 The two symbolic women in the book of Revelation likewise represent Jerusalem (spiritual Jerusalem, the church of God of Revelation12) and the harlot (spiritual Babylon, the church of Satan of Revelation 17) because this book is based on the Old Testament. The apostle Paul also referred to God’s church as a woman: For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy. For I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:2 “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
