I’m not sure abuse / violence is the way to teach a valuable lesson to a teenager. Also, statistics show that most kids disrespecting a parent have witnessed that type of bad behavior between their parents beforehand and simply sank it in as a standard way to communicate and be heard. I know your video is comedy but kids being disrespectful / violent to their parent is often the outcome of bad parenting / neglect in the first place. On a side note, why would a parent not let their kid go inside when it’s that late. Isn’t it just better to let them in to talk about them not respecting the schedule they agreed on ? Would the mother rather have her kid spend the night outside (especially in the US where people can carry guns anywhere) ?

Seriously, fathers are great! I was a mom whose husband had walked out. I had a teenage son and it was a good thing I had stressed respect with him from an early age, because he got mad at me one day and lifted his fist. He was a big boy, much taller than me. I went absolutely nuts. I told him I would get a board and a ladder, but he was not going to disrespect me. He got scared, and ended up running away to live with his dad. He said I had too many rules, like no marijuana, go to school, do your chores, etc His dad was really not a good father by any stretch, and I am fortunate that my son turned out to be a good man. He gives me the credit, but it was really hard and it broke my heart most days. We really need good fathers in the home.

That is a very fortunate Young Man, Lol! He has a Mother would made the choice to not fully handle him alone, but allowed his Father to give him an opportunity to Learn his lesson in a different way. This is an hilarious example of Tough Love and Conscious Co-Parenting. Because we all know that Man might have come home to a Home that no longer had a Son or he might have had to go visit him in the hospital. Now all that Young Man has to collect is a few BooBops to recalibrate his mental processing and issue a formal apology (plus some added chores and whatnot for good measure). This is High Quality Conflict Resolution right here 🤣😂😅 God is Good ALL the Time, and ALL the Time God is Good.

This is why Dad's are very important in the family. Cause if Mom has to get physical with her teen boy it hits different to him than if his father does. If Mom whoops her teen boy it's emasculating. But when Dad whoops him it's because he needs to learn boundaries in a respectful relationship, man to man. Some lines we don't cross.

This literally happened to me! We were at my grandmas house and I was watching TV in her bedroom. In walks my father who quietly shut the door behind him! (For context, it’s important to know that a couple of hours earlier my mom and I had a disagreement in which she attempted to take away my phone and I snatched it away from her!) So my father came into my grandmother’s room, told me that Mom said that I had raised my hand at her. My father asked me for my version of the events, which I stammered and stuttered my way through. But the main thing I tried to convey was that, in no way, did I ever raise my hand at my mom! My dad, to his credit, patiently listened to everything I said. When I was done, he looked me dead in my eyes and said, “If I EVER hear anything like this from your mom again, the two of us are going into a closed room and ONLY ONE of us is coming out!” He said it! I believed it! My mom never had another issue with me from that day on!😅 I remember when my father first came in and shut the door behind him. The only thing I could think of was, “How can I get out of that room ALIVE?!” I even considered trying to jump out of the window! I have never been that scared in my life!😂😂
