If a doctor asks me, a man, if I am pregnant, I'd say I think so and would ask for a referral for pre-natal care. I'd ask him for a letter with his signature stating that he believes I may be pregnant and save a copy for myself. Then I'd ask the specialist a bunch of follow-up questions, such as how far along I am and how he would deliver my baby to see how far they'd play along.

I would laugh if an optometrist tried to school me on anything other than what my glasses Rx should be. It's like a podiatrist trying to school me on anything other than my feet. I am so glad I live in Texas, rural area, and the docs don't play that way and if they did I'd find a new one. My doctor literally removed himself from ALL insurance (even Medicare) after this COVID crap started and NEVER expected people to wear a mask if they didn't want to. I switched pediatricians for my kids when covid hit and the office staff FELL APART WITH FEAR. They followed us around with spray bottles of disinfectant even if we just had a well child visit. Found someone instead who is an actual thinking medical professional. Also switch to that same doctor for myself after going to one where I walked in for an appointment and she was wearing an “I’ve been vaccinated” button and two masks and acted like she was scared, anxious and most of all annoyed to have me in the room with her.

As a new patient at a Community doctors office, I was given medical history forms to fill out with boxes to check. They had two long columns worth of gender questions. I lined out both columns and drew three boxes, one for male, one for female and one for gender dysphoria. Needless to say the medical staff was not amused, but it made me very happy to push back on the insanity from the vary people we depend on to have some intelligence.

I wouldn't jump to assumptions. A local huge hospital/health system has been losing specialists left and right because of the management. The brain banks in management decided to start cutting pay just because. The drs took a big hit during the major slowdown, even shutdown, during the Pfirus ban-dem-ik. They were literally shut out of the hospitals because they "weren't needed". So things have getting back to "normal" and the hospital bean counters decide.....we can save some money.!! They are now realizing that specialist doctors are NOT standing outside hospital doors begging for jobs. Quite the opposite as dozens have left and zero applicants to replace them. Its like the Federal govt is running it. But some of the specialists are forming their own clinics which I think is good, as bigger is NOT better. Others went solo. Others went to other cities. Fools are dangerous...worse than dangerous when they congregate w/power.
