Basically, because Serbs consider it a thing of awareness, a "basic education", and not just talking about English, yet generally Serbs have that deep global awareness (mostly because history was brutal on them) mentality, so to say, natively build type of cosmopolitism, just through our own cultural key.

Serbia didn't attack any balkan country , they were a part of the same country(Yugoslavia), and Yugoslavia didn't wan't to allow separation because Milions of Serbians died to form Yugoslavia. To give you a summary Bosnia,Croatia, Slovenia didn't exist before 1990-s (They were a part of Austro-Hungary), it is only because of Serbian blood that they have their country now. Serbia had a never before seen 65% loss of male population in WW1, and our biggest mistake was giving those countries their land and names in Yugoslavia, we should of just had greater Serbia since we paid the Ultimate price. Our leader at that time screwed us hard with that Yugo shit. Just sayin

As an American in a relationship with a Serbian girl. Serbians are some of, if not the greatest people to ever exist! They are very kind, compassionate, generous, and caring. Her family liked me a lot and treated me like I was an extra relative. She also helped me watch my cousin's kids for two weeks while both of their parents had to go away for a work trip. She was excellent! She treated them like they were her own and was overly loving and nurturing.

I am from turkey and I visited Serbia last year. I was a bit scared thinking maybe there werent a lot to see there. They dont ask visa from turkish people. when we went there we were amazed. We stayed in belgrade and was a very beautiful city combining lots of different eras in hostory and culture including ottoman.. but what surprised us the most was people. Everybody, man and woman was tall and very good looking. And they all had their own unique style, it was so nice.

I really have no idea why Bulgarians think Serbs hate them, but it's the second or the third time I hear it from Bulgarians on youtube. It seems like you have a very bad source of information in Bulgaria. In today's Serbia, Bulgarians are mentioned mostly in the context of tourist exchange (Serbs going to Bulgarian seaside and Bulgarians coming to Belgrade at weekends). Even at the times of the former Yugoslavia we didn't see you in a negative light - I myself spent my summer holidays in Varna in 1990...

I'm from Croatia. So there's a huge history between two countries and there was plenty of tension for a long time but I believe that is going away in a rapid speed. Last year, around this time I visited Novi Sad (second largest city in Serbia with my friends. It was my first visit there but I don't think it was the last. Their hospitality is beyond belief and I don't mean staff in hotel or bartenders I mean people in general. In those 3 days I managed to meet over 100 people. Buying each others drinks, joking laughing it was amazing.. There was not 1 incident. So I if someone like me can go there and have time of my life I'm pretty sure everyone can..

Yeah I've met plenty of Croatian people in Novi Sad as well. They usually come here to study at the University of NS. They were cool :) My NS friend also has a thing for Croatian chicks idk why xD Politics wise I feel like there's less tolerance for Serbs in Croatia than Croatians in Serbia. My grandparents had a house in Unije which they built with their own two hands and the little money they had save up from their hard work...then they had to leave it because of the war, and to this day they don't hate Croats but there's still that weird feeling when you know someone doesn't like you back but you don't understand why... it's been what, 30+ years and my mum always cries about that house and the childhood days in Unije...perhaps one day she'll be able to go back there and revisit their old house :)

@@stanimirovicd8207 Nikola Tesla, Mihailo Pupin, Milutin Milankovic, Mileva Maric Einstain...We have a lot of scientists but Tesla and Pupin are very important, Tesla invented ligh, alternating current, radio, remote control, wi-fi, basicaly every electronic stuff works because of him; Pupin was one of the founders of NASA and father of long distance telecomunication. Thanks to this two people we could write this comments. Serbs invented first clock as well, Lazar Crnorizac/Hilandarac did.
