Yes, Christ is the King of a totally different kind of Kingdom. It takes the power of faith for us to acknowledge the Kingdom that has greater importance than any earthly authority and for us to live in its ways that Christ may rule in our hearts. In the end, though, we truly rejoice in Christ our King Who advances Love, Truth, beauty, and goodness.

I always like the Feast of Christ the King because most often my good friend, Fr Bill Jabusch's most famous hymn, The King of Glory gets played. Although he passed away a few years ago, I always think of him and his calm, intelligent nature. He was a great servant of the king.
