It not about being a shill. All reviewer have a relationship with companies. The problem is reviewer get so many tv's that I think they forget that people have budgets and get lock on the flagship or OLED.

There is a fine line between being a reviewer vs being an advertiser. Money, and other forms of compensation, have a powerful influence on bias (sometimes unconscious bias). Those who want to be known and respected as "Reviewers" need to continually evaluate how close they are getting to that line.

100% agree with your assessment. I too will not take payment or do a sponsored review. And anytime a video is sponsored it is disclosed. Both of you are great at disclosing sponsored and affiliate relationships.

I think Brian does favor Sony and that’s fine with me. I do value both Brian and FOMO’s opinion on TVs. I ended up getting the S89C with both their help and it is an absolute dream of a TV.

I actually don't favor any of them, my friend . Yes, I have friends from Sony, but my own purchase of the A80L is my own and what I personally needed it for. People think I favor a different brand each and every year.

Thanks guys. Regarding the less expensive tv’s with their quality of picture. Not sure of the value for it other than finding the best of the worst then comparing / contrasting to mid level for value position. That’s a lot of time spent for so many TVs to find the diamond in the ruff😂

Just goes to show you that a bunch of insecure people who feel lousy about life will begin with unfounded innuendo, speculation and accusatory statements simply to get a rise out of the victim who then at times tries to defend themself which cause all kinds of joy for the instigator. They thrive on the victim getting upset, defensive or angry. The best thing to do is ignore them if possible or thank them for their comment and wish them well with their impending therapy.....😂 None of you guys in the circle of trust that we all watch come off as anything but informative and professional. I watched lots and lots of reviews before buying my TV recently. You guys are both amazing and I can’t even fathom how anyone could come up with this shill stuff. Absolutely ridiculous! I wouldn’t waste a moment more on this nonsense. Keep up the great work gents!

I know you guys, are always very truthful, and you guys are some of the most trustworthy KZbin reviewers… thank you for your reviews, I was able to buy an x95k, I think 2-3 years ago, since I still don’t see the need in buying an oled, until they can remove burn in, since I don’t want to have to deal with burn in… now I will probably be getting an oled iPad this year depending on if Apple releases such a device,

I watch stuff within a few different communities: the TV community and creators are easily some of the most positive. They come off as the most genuine out there. Just dudes who enjoy panels and provide sound advice on one of your bigger purchases most consumers are going to make.

The truth is the more you get involved in the tv industry the more you are going to create friendships and connections you need to get the inside scoop. Nothing wrong with that. Brian, I love you and Fomos work and your personalities. I love the three hour talks but you must realize that some people just don't have 3 hours to decide what tv to buy. Some people just need to know what's good and what's bad about the particular tv they want to buy. I mean I hear nothing but buy the 100-inch U8 but not a single review and after watching endless content the only real info I got was Robert explaining that the 100 inch is not as good as the smaller models. So as much as I love all your guy's content and I love that you guys talk about everything and anything in 4-hour spurts. I still end up having to watch other reviewers to get the info I need. Might I suggest along with the 3-hour rants sprinkle in some 15-minute fact based reviews so the people who don't have endless amounts of time or maybe want to spend time with family or maybe just need to buy a tv can do so in a timely manner. Again I love you guys and what you do but not everybody is like me and even I sometimes have trouble figuring stuff out and I watch you guys every freakin day..lol. Keep up the good work.

Had 75in zd9 cost more than a nice car , it’s still going lives with sister now,,😀 be interesting to see the new 8k d versions in the flesh with the new AI processors. Tv technology is moving fast ..stay safe feller..

I trust Brian, Fomo, Vincent Teoh, Tech with TKK, Classy, Caleb and KG, all reviews are must watch for tv fiends, like me. I didn't know much of anything until 2020 about tvs, but now you must know about tvs and hdr and nits and 4k/8k, and oleds and Qleds and Qd Oleds. You can't just throw your money at just any tv. I bought a qled in 2020, and a qd oled in 2023 based on KG reviews recommendations. The only thing I would hope for is the future of tvs was known now. I bought a qled one year before mini led tvs, (which I didn't really regret until now because prices are cheaper than in 2020.) In 2022 and 2023 the qdoled reviews were excellent so in 2023 I got the Samsung s90c to get the best tv for me in the same year, to avoid fomo, not FOMO.

If I were a TV reviewer I'd have an obvious Sony bias, it would be hard to actually be neutral. I'm okay with bias though, I don't need someone trying to change my mind I already know my next TV will be a Sony so I'd be fine watching a Sony shill 😂

The scepticism is justified in some cases as there's been several popular KZbinr's or Influencers as they like to be called that have been caught shilling.. I keep hearing 'but I bought all my TV's' and 'I have receipts ' or 'I get all the brands' by one in particular, but it's widely known most are returned soon after the videos go live and he keeps his Sony....Sony..Sony ...Sony practically since the inception of the A90J and A80J that keeps getting thrown down consumer's throats and also happens to be the most expensive .. ❤i know what u mean that SONY Vaio laptops from way Back regardless everyone bad mouthing Vaio. D BEST thing about that laptop was--very premium Screen. I loved my pink Vaio. Years later I found out. It’s made by --SHARP Display. Also d Early years of SONY LED in 2010s so premium…their Bravia LEDs were made by SHARP Aquos. Hisense Bought Sharp TV in 2014 briefly. lol. 😝
