So idk if you actually want the psychology on this, buuut, this is a learned behavior, usually starting and outgrown in childhood. Especially with children who have younger siblings. They lack the vocabulary to explain that they crave attention from their parents, and a younger child will require more than an older one-so the older one does whatever it can to get that attention back. Even if it's negative, because negative attention is still attention, and the alternative is no attention or not enough attention. Majority of people will grow out of this by age 10, but some take a few more years to grow out of it. Rarely, kids simply don't grow out of it, and carry that into adulthood. It can also tie into different disorders, but I don't feel comfortable singling out a specific disorder that fits this criteria. But yeah! People like Oli London, and Trisha paytas tend to have the mind set of "any attention is better than none/not enough" which is common in toddlers!

Oli obviously has issues. But what Oli is presenting to us is a manufactured persona to gain publicity and make money. I will try my best here to use pronouns correctly out of respect to those who are genuine about their gender identities and pronoun usage but I am not really supportive of giving Oli this respect due to the damage they are causing to so many communities that already struggle to be taken seriously. But back to my point. Oli doesn't care about all the hate because Oli has purposely created a controversial persona in order to generate as much fame and money as they can get out of it. So it's not really an attack on the "real" Oli and none of us has any idea who that really is. Maybe Oli doesn't know anymore who that is. But my guess is that Oli is a very messed up individual who doesn't care what harm they are causing in their process of getting what they want and Oli is probably laughing at all of us as their bank account grows and grows. So it's quite different from you or I going on social media and receiving tons of hate mail and/or comments. The more hate and attention Oli gets, the richer Oli gets. It's genius really. Sickening, but genius. And in the end there is still something seriously wrong with this person, regardless of why they are doing all of this....the honest "why" would be what indicates what is wrong with them.

I'm a white woman, so my following experience is in no way meant to be taken as a talking point for, well, anything race related. It's just my experience. I have naturally the shape and position of eyes that makes them look -slightly- asian. Very slightly in my opinion, but as a kid I was bullied with slurs used for asians and "chinese" was used as a mean name. So even I, completely white woman with one charasteristic that very slightly reminds of something asian, got my fair share of bullying for it. I can't even imagine what people who are actually asian may go through, as my very minor experience was unpleasant enough. I can't understand how a person can hurt so many people so lightly and use money for unnecessary surgeries while other people would do anything to have even a fracture of that money - to like, eat. I'm a Northeast Indian who has very East-Asian features. I've had some quite concerning encounters on social medias like Discord, where if I mention I'm Indian, I'm quite often instantly exposed to disgusting stereotypes. I wouldn't want to mention the stereotypes, but I'm sure you can guess. In some of these servers, I occasionally post a picture of me in the selfies channel and immediately a lot of the same people want to talk to me again. They ask me stuff like "You don't look Indian", "Do you watch K Dramas" yada yada. Many of the times, these are the same people that fight against racism as keyboard warriors on Twitter, but instantly bombard someone else with racism or fetishization as soon as they realize their race or ethnicity. All this aside, one time a guy on Discord genuinely UNIRONICALLY asked me whether India has mountains. Bitch... What? India has most of the highest mountain range in the world, and like four more ranges in different parts. I'm tired of being fetishized online while a lot of my fellow Indians that don't look East-Asian are exposed to massive amounts of racism everyday. I have so many Indian friends that are dark skinned and not monolid but are the prettiest people inside out.

They can have plastic surgery addiction which is a behavioral disorder which causes a person to want to constantly change their appearance by undergoing plastic surgery and which most likely will not make them any happier in the end. It starts with a positive experience, like any addiction, after their first surgery they might already be planning to fix another "flaw". They use plastic surgery as a solution to negative self-perception, it can get out of hand really fast and become a serious problem. A large portion of people who get surgery also have body dysmorphia. But they can also be addicted to possible painkillers they have after surgery.

@@cheesewhizxd7819 im not an expert on neo pronouns but i think the people who use them are neurodivergent so they view gender and their own gender differently. Also, its a VERY small fraction of people who actually use neo pronouns and they usually only use them online or with close friends etc. hope this helps!

So, I'm married to a Korean. It's very possible we'll live in Korea one day. I don't think there's anything wrong with wanting to "be Korean" in the sense that you want to learn the language, abide by the cultural expectations, gain citizenship etc. But Oli...It's just a parody of Korean culture for clout and I think he does so much harm not just to Koreans (who are his primary victims) but non-Koreans who are genuinely interested in Korea, have relationships with Koreans etc. Like when Sherliza said "They'll get plastic surgery and claim to be half Asian" referring to Asian fishers etc, I was thinking "Well...there are genuinely mixed Asian kids in the world." My friend is mixed Thai-English. One of my friends has mixed Indian-Japanese kids. If I ever have a kid, it'll be mixed Asian-Caucasian. I know that wasn't Sherliza's intention. My point is that Oli's behaviour opens up mixed Asian people to an unwarranted degree of scrutiny.

I've seen that gigi girl before. She's dating a guitarist named Tim Henson who has been asked about her and Asianfishing before. He's half Chinese, and claimed that she's not doing anything wrong, and simply doing her makeup in a different way. I'm not defending her bc it definitely looks like she's trynna achieve an Asian look. I saw whole twitter thread where her boyfriend said he'd be the first one to call her out if she was doing anything like that, but I kinda doubt it, because they are dating. She did however admit that she did have surgery, but idk what she said it was for, bc I can't remember, but she said she now does the winged eyeliner, and pretty much all of her makeup differently from how she used to. Overall I just think people need to stop appropriating a culture they don't really know anything about

What bothers me is how he says he is Korean by changing how he looks and making himself look Asian. You can become Korean and still be white by following the country’s laws of become a citizen and you be Korean. He’s literally trolling at this point cause he knows he makes money from his actions and he’s getting offers of plastic surgery. Saying he’s transracial also completely devalues the struggles that transsexual people go through in their everyday lives and creates and argument for people to use against them
