@xipheonj3 жыл бұрын
Gods, the projection... We don't "wanna be oppressed", we're pointing out how stupid these jokes are. They are so wrong and technically inaccurate that they fail unless you enjoy making fun of white people. Either you think his make believe is real, or you laugh because racism. And don't even try to justify by saying comedy is fake and exaggerated. It's always based in reality, it's a twist of fact, not outright wrong. Or its setup as a clearly made up story. He's making statements about reality, that's the problem. What if I said "Isn't it funny how the ocean is red? God must've made it that way so we can't see the fish bleed." That's this comedy. The foundations are wrong. The humour is fine, he seems good, but the core of his jokes start on a faulty premise.
@robotgalaxy41683 жыл бұрын
@@xipheonj @Jeff Scott @Jeff Scott Comedy can be outright wrong tho. Sometimes that's where the funny lies. In a full 180 from the original premise. I also think the original commenter was referring to the people who are outright calling the clip racist, not the people just saying it's not funny.
@cwalker69113 жыл бұрын
@@robotgalaxy4168 came to say the same
@xipheonj3 жыл бұрын
@@robotgalaxy4168 That's the follow through though. The reason the jokes are wrong we can only assume are because of racism. Why else would you lie so blatantly about the racial differences? I also seem to need to repeat, these aren't simply funny reversals of the original premise, he is starting from a wrong basis, then just continuing it with a joke. "Why do grocery stores only carry bread that's dyed green? Do they think it'll fool us into thinking it's a vegetable?" That's how wrong he is. The setup is wrong. The jokes based on his false setup are good, but the foundation is bad. Just give it the reversal test. If you change white and black to black and white does it sound super racist?
@robotgalaxy41683 жыл бұрын
@@xipheonj Still not racist if you swap em, but it makes less sense. The only thing that could even possibly be perceived as racist is that white people have better vision but that's blatantly wrong so it's impossible to take at face value

Scripture holds to: Be Ye Kind, One To Another, kind hearted... and So Fulfill the Law of Christ. Ephesians 4:32. Sad... wish I would or could still be alive to see that day. 2021 - 2121... Some day, perhaps we'll all know that God loves us all, and has a purpose and plan for each of our lives.
