I love how great a villain Dr Hemloch is. In the scene when Omega is trying to save the animal Dr Hemlock is like 'NO EMOTIONS ALLOWED' and then he's using Omega's emotions to prove his point and show her why they're not allowed... 💀What an evil smartass!

So I counted the tally marks in Omega’s cell. A planetary rotation is considered a day. There were 169 marks so that equates to 169 days. Meaning Omega has been a prisoner there for at least 5 months.

Honestly, the ambiguity of this entire Palpatine Cloning subplot is what I love about it. It makes it creepier and more disturbing, wondering just how deep the rabbit hole goes with Dark Side science and alchemy.

I gambling that a Jedi is in the cell and they are extracting blood from the Jedi and mixing it with clone blood to essentially do a force transfusion. There's no way Papa Palpatine would be giving up his own juice this early in an experiment. Like how nuts would it be if this is where Bariss Offee or Quinlan Vos come back into the story.

An interesting start to the season, a lot slower paced but interesting nonetheless. You can really feel the passage of time and the atmosphere of isolation as Omega tries to hold onto hope that she can escape. Also, Omega helping out and connecting with that creature in the pens was so freaking cute!

Ohhh... There is a bunch of things in the vault... All of the dirty sith alchemy secrets are on Tantiss.... Legend spoke often of a difficulty in cloning a force user. They also spoke of the difficulties presented by soul transfer and taking over a body. The closer the body is to the original the easier. These plots are drawing from both Dark empire and Heir to the empire

Can we just take a minute to appreciate the fact that Clone Commandos are getting more involved in Star Wars now because of this series. To be clear I have no idea why the Empire is keeping them given they are clones only other than the fact that they are the best of the best but even still it's awesome to see them AND Scorch still showing up. The Empire was using Commandos to train recruits (the TK Troopers), so they’re still mostly used for about a year into the Imperial Era.

The music in this is the highlight once again, the Kiners have been KILLING it lately. We have a new theme for the entire episode symbolizing Omega's repeating schedule. The instrument is new too. But in the final scene, when Emerie returns the doll, we hear Omega's theme in the new instrument. Such a great way to show she's overcoming this challenge despite how bleak it seems.

I find it really interesting that they’re still not showing us exactly what’s going on with Tantiss. It could easily just be cloning Palpatine, and it probably is, but the remaining mystery makes me very curious. It’s not like they haven’t further developed stuff where we already know the end result, but it gets me excited. What if this isn’t just Palpatine’s new body?

Omega does not age normally. Emorie seems to be have accelerated aging, and then again she doesn’t. Her physical aging could be anywhere from 16 to 26. Omega seems to be aging more slowly than a normal human, perhaps as much as half the rate of a normal human. Omega does not seem to have reached puberty, yet.
