Wow, Whitney was s sweet and layed back in this interview. She seemed very happy. some of what she said was really interesting. She sure loved her Bobby dearly, hoping to achieve a great married life. She was idealistic still, and at the same time not ignorant of reality. A few quotes that I liked: her "parents gave her a normal life" - at that time she had planned to do a gospel album - "there's a lot of it about the business, about what I do, that is not fun!"

What I realize about this interview is that Whitney had no idea that she would get even bigger than she was at that time. She had every good intention to do everything she wanted to do that's good an pure but fame destroyed that. I truly believe that her life couldn't have go any other way than how it ended. I have the feeling she never liked doing "I will always love you". Every time over the years she's been asked about it, her energy conveys it. It has nothing to do with Dolly I believe, as they have both been gracious to each other. In my opinion, her first two studio albums were her best work. So fresh, so crisp, so beautiful. I debate this all the time, I feel during production they pushed her too much as they really wanted the movie to do well and having a powerful soundtrack helps that. I feel she went along with it as it was her first time acting and she wanted the movie to do well too as it would be an embarrassment to her career. I feel she was over doing it on every song on that soundtrack. However, with the first two albums, she gave just the right amount of everything. It just felt right. She always sang those songs effortlessly live. With the Bodyguard Soundtrack, particularly "I will Always Love You", whenever she had to sing that live, it was the first time I'd ever seen her nervous while singing. Her version is an incredibly difficult song to sing, even for Whitney. That's why it's not my favorite. The songs on her first two albums were so smooth like silk, but the "The Bodyguard" soundtrack was all about power, power, power of her voice. It was too much.

WHITNEY NO ONE on this earth can really judge your life. Yeah many will talk & criticize but they don't know the whole truth & that is between u and God. As u said in one of your interviews once you've gone people will say or write whatever they feel & it really doesn't matter once you're gone. Yes, Whitney, could have done a lot of things differently but it was what it was. I'm sure just like all of us if we could change some things we’ve done throughout our life we would jump at that chance. However, as women I do understand that we all dream of that fairytale marriage. In Whitney's marriage it turned out that Bobbi Brown was not in our opinion to be the one. But as women we know and r so hopeful that things will change. Bobbi Brown was 22yrs old & seemed very immature that is just my opinion. However, I know that I was a immature woman being married that young and didn't know anything at that time because marriage is no joke. It seems u can never be prepared but some people mature faster than others. At that time I don't think Whitney Houston realized that there life styles were just on too different paths. Bobbi Brown was just not the one able or at a maturity level that could have helped her through what she was facing in that beastly entertainment world. I also see from what was revealed about her family & friends which she kept so close & dear to her they were not there for the right reasons. Most could see that there was a lot of hidden agendas, along with greed, (money) jealousy and envy. Whitney loved these people & kept them so close to her situation yet no one saw any of the signs of her falling or they choose to ignore them and didn't lift a finger to get her help. Pretty much they stood by in my opinion so that Whitney would fall. I can also relate to Whitney in a human stand point when it gets hard at times to keep things on the straight and narrow even in a so call normal life. I couldn't imagine the pressure being a mega super star like Whitney. So, saying all of that, No one can judge any other human being because none of us are perfect in any way just human with flaws. Some of us may get pass them & others may not. Thank God for Jesus because he looks on the heart pass our failures and flaws. Mankind may judge ur life harshly Whitney but it's only Jesus and the Fathers judgment that really counts. I have always prayed for u Whitney, because of that which u knew in ur heart about Jesus and his never ending love ❤️❤️ for you & Bobbi K that u both had a chance to call on him. For God himself has said ”I will never leave there or forsake thee”.Regardless of what this judgmental world thinks about u Whitney, I pray that u r forever with him enjoying the heavenly glory with Jesus in Paradise. YOU're not forgotten buy those that truly loved U all ❤️ ❤️❤️ Whitney & BK .

Well madam/Sir this a true and heart felt synopsis of the whole matter , we can judge her and I won’t I could never walk in her shoes or tie the lace I am her fan and I don’t give a rats a… if you want to know how it was stay at her house she did her best with challenges all around and she longed to be herself or have a needed break. From it all , being pulled here and there trying to keep it all together being a mom , a wife come on never judge For we will also be judged I love Whitney no matter what , I am glad she new the Lord and she lived as she believed was right and tried her best to cope with it all .
