I grew up with Whitney's generation and though I wasn't into her type of songs and singing, this track always gave me the chills whenever I heard it. Even the recorded version, especially the part from 3:00 to 3:30, it was so vibrant. I could even be in a factory chain working situation and when it came on the radio, it always had that uplifting effect on me. I didn't appreciate you as well before Whitney, but now I see the jewel we have lost. Be happy and peaceful.

You got me on two, I completely forgot about GLOA and SAMLFY being remakes, but if I remember correctly, I'm Every Woman stopped at #4, and The Star-Spangled Banner only reached #6, and that was upon its re-release in 2001.

I think she was sick here, but still performed live amazingly!!! I don't think she ever lipsyncd, kept it real and gave her ALL!!!!

Such elegance as much power over the voice, so sure, it is a pleasure to hear, feel ... I have the impression that the music becomes something material, because it reaches full people ... she commands the notes, it's like said "now I will launch a higher note, now I will whisper, now I look and sing just for you ... it's a pleasure to hear ... such elegance, such elegance ...

@Derek. No doubt she will forever be missed. Her VOICE, her performances will always be a gentle reminder to millions of just how great she really is/was. Simply amazing.
