I had the pleasure of seeing this very performance by the iconic Whitney Houston live at the AMA's in 2009...One of the upsides of working at Nokia Theater (that's what it was called when it first opened) were the concerts, award shows, behind the scenes stuff, working the VIP door, ect... I also got to see Prince...He did 2 encores unbeknownst to some of the folk that left when the house lights first came on...He wasn't done...He put on a fabulous show... I'll never forget these icons and their performances...I'm glad I was able see them before they passed...

Whitney voice was affected the most by smoking Smoking lowers the pitch and power of the voice And also makes peoppe likely to get emphysema a condition characterised by weaked lungs Which makes singing extremely difficult Whitney had emphysema which had progressed in her final years Mariah voice definitely sounds better than this especially these days Mariah has different issues due to having nodules since she was a child Mariahs voice currently is better than 2009 Whitney when she sings live
