This was so cool to watch even for non-athletes like me. The grace with which you guys took your losses, and when you accepted playing as libero even though you really wanted to be a hitter, drive home the lessons you were discussing with us throughout the HQ reaction episodes. Love how you guys talk out your plans and strike up conversations with other players. I especially enjoy how there is almost as much eating as there is playing! 😆 To the people commenting about missing HQ reactions, do watch some real life volleyball experience, it will enrich you. I know it’s hard for some of us to believe, but life is not all anime, and we started watching Coach Donny in the first place cos he has all this great real world experience to bring to the thing we love.

Do you guys have to UP-REF or DOWN-REF? Or when you're reffing, you guys just do line judging and score?? What about Libero tracking and all of those score table shenanigans?

Hey guys, I'm from the UK where Volleyball isn't as big as in the USA, but I am definitely doing my bit to help grow it. Quick question, how are they setting up the nets in the convention Centre? Do they have holes drilled in the floor ready for Volleyball posts to be installed? Or are they special kind of posts? Any help would be amazing!

Hey Coach Donny maybe you have made a video about this before but my high school does not have a volleyball team and I was wondering on some steps for me to progress in my volleyball journey. Like what type of leagues or clubs do I join first and how do I progress from there to a pro level (I'm not trying to pursue a pro career in volleyball but just wondering on the steps to progress and where you start if you don't or even do have a school team). Thanks in advance!

Im currently in my senior year of highschool, and im pushing to start a boys volleyball team. Ive reached 35 signatures from students, far beyond my goal of 8 people. My advice is to just try to start one, and most importantly try appeal to the senior class, many of them will sign just because its their senior year, and they might as well try a new sport, as long as the season is short enough and allows them to play their other sports. What matters first is the signatures as proof that people are interested. Design the signup sheets (doesnt have to be complicated) and get permission from your school to post them around the halls. After that just advertise a little bit, we got 17 signatures in the first hour from purely advertising. If they join or not, you worry about that later, get the signatures first.

@@jonwiki Thank you so much for the advice! I definitely think I will try this but the girls volleyball season and boys football season are about to end so I'll try and hopefully at least next year this goal will be accomplished.
@jonwiki2 жыл бұрын
@@NatsuDragneel-ii9es i became a manager for the girls team, it worked out because i got another bunch of people to advertise the signups, and i also got to know the coaches, which gave me more credibility when presenting the idea to the board. Having adults back you can be just the thing youll need. So incase youre running out of ideas, and dont mind being essentially a ball boy and scorekeeper, and if you can resist having the urge to put a wig on and play with them, that could be another way for you to get an advantage. Good luck!

I have a question. Im a setter and my team has had a minor roster change. What kind of tips can you share to a new hitter who often wants the ball and isnt happy that they dont get set as much as another hitter in some games? As a setter, as much as I would like to be "fair", i try to look at the situation, and that may often decide where i set to. Others are free to comment. Anyone is free to share their own experience or tips.

Does your team have to play in qualifiers to join this tournament? I see there are like 4 different ratings for teams.
@ElevateYourselfOfficial2 жыл бұрын
No it's self assigned divisions. But your seed to enter the tournament does depend on previous year's tournament performance
