We all remember Suella Braverman from school. The person who hangs around with the bully for fear of being bullied themselves. The person who doubles-down on the bullying to show that they can be just as bad as the head-bully. I'm sure she and/or her parents experienced racism in some form in the past. She doubles-down and in her own twisted way tries to insulate herself from this by attempting to prove that she is more English than the English themselves.

Sure, there was a lot of racism and I grew up with it. But, ultimately Britain has changed a lot along the way, improved and I genuinely believe in the fundamental decency of the majority of British people today. I am sorry but it needs to be said...and perhaps is best said by someone like me, a non-white British son of immigrants (and thus matching her background. I can forgive her limited intellect, that’s not her fault, but thinking that she just might have answers to some quite easy questions when all she can do is look at the worst of us and think, ‘they seem nice I will say what they say’. But in holding our arms out to all of them, we are being utterly negligent to the very serious threat that ridiculous levels of uncontrolled illegal immigration has to our country. How much do you think all this costs us? And don’t you forget - all the people born here who live on the streets. People who have fought in the armed forces only to be forgotten. People from broken homes from a society devoid of social care packages. Don’t you think you fix what’s wrong on our soil first - whilst simultaneously prioritising asylum seekers - before opening our borders? You also mention the word trafficking - people being TRAFFICKED here - who do you think predominantly runs these trafficking programmes? People who come from countries where it takes a year to save a grand - at a push. And they pay 4/5 grand to sit on a dinghy here. STOP being so narrow-minded, and fuelling dogma James. You sound so sad now, and I totally understand why. The behaviour of these people is appalling and it makes me feel so sad that this is what humanity has come to. You are doing such an incredible job and I am aware how hard it must be, please keep it up. I know it must break your heart but we need you

We've had this in Australia since 1997 with John Howard and Pauline Hanson vilifying and demonising anyone trying to seek asylum in Australia (the great southern madhouse).

Former ITN Anchorman and current GB News presenter Alistair Stewart stated that he wanted to push every rubber dinghy which crossed the channel full of desperate asylum seekers back out to sea again - almost certainly to their deaths. This hateful, vile and odious man got a huge round of applaus from the equally vile audience. James O'Brien's question is indeed pertinent - what has this country come to?

I'm afraid is not in LBC's agenda to consider something like that. They exist merely to enrage their far left fanboys and stir up hatred.

In Victorian England people could be transported for life to a far off hostile land, for stealing a loaf of bread. A petty crime with horrific, disproportionate punishment. These people have done nothing to deserve this. My dream Is to see Braverman and all those who think and act like her to suffer like these people have, and to suffer again and again until they learn what Humanity is.
