Hello! I want to add a small bit. In the video I made it sound like they broke seventy-thousand-and-thirty-three warrior's blades to create the first Edict Edge. The text actually implies that those are the number of people who died fighting to bring down all the Sovereigns to create the 12 Sentinels, not just 1. X's literacy problem only focus on "ship" and sesbian lex but actually that encounter is potentially much more fatal than it meets the eye. I personally think it is highly unlikely that the black sun in Izumo and Takamagahara's star system is IX itself: 1. In the Izumo relic set discription, scholars have differred views on Izumo and Takamagahara's dissappearance. If the black hole were IX himself, it would not be a mystery. People would simply attribute the dissaperance to IX instead of theorizing on the disapperance being an experiment by Dr. Primitive or signs of the Voracity. 2. Acheron's character story IV describes her travelling with the nameless girl Frebass from the Pioneer Diver of Dead Waters relic set. In the Pioneer's Heatproof Shell story Acheron asked her "Frebass, are you still going to the depths of IX?". In Pioneer's Sealed Lead Apron story we realize that this black hole Frebass was heading into was in a place called Orkron. So this suggests that either IX is not the black hole in Izumo, or, that every black hole could be seen as a part of IX or part of the river of Nihility. Frebass ended up drowning under the influence of Nihility with Acheron failing in her attempt to save her🥲. So instead of Acheron spreading the path of Nihility, she is more of a witness and lifesaver trying to accompany others on the path of Nihility and trying to prevent them from going too far, just like how she tried to talk Adventurine out of his urge of self destruction. Also, character story III implies that after Acheron was engulfed by the Nihility realizing the struggle of Izumo was bound to be meaningless, she used her own power as an emanator to wipe Izumo and Takamagahara out of existince thus putting its tragic fate to an end. ↓ “Below the fractured sky, I saw her once more: Within a world fading into oblivion, she elegantly swung her blade, eradicating the entire realm of dreams.”- A Note from a Doctor of Chaos

The fact that they even have such wildly differing views just points to how little they can confirm. They have records and accounts that say Izumo once existed but have very little way confirming that it did beyond that... hence why the theories always end up with excuses to why very little traces of Izumo exist. "We cannot say for sure this planet Izumo as written in records actually exists so either it was some experiment by Dr. Primitive(because we found evidence that he was nearby/showed interest at some point, and he might do something like that), Ouroboros ate it or someone just made it up."

Yeah it's not IX, just one of it's shadow. Base on hsr wiki, "A Shadow of IX or Shadow of Nihility are varied unintended creations of IX, the Aeon of Nihility that exist in many forms across the universe." Regarding Acheron and Frebass' story I don't think they actually dove in the depth of IX together. It is stated that they parted ways at some point and only Frebass was actually headed onto the depth of IX as she hoped to travel further than Akivili. Also I don't think they confirmed that Frebass died. The story ended with this "The vast void looms near the end of the vivid memories, yet she suddenly sees a dash of crimson blinking briefly into existence in the center of the pitch-black world." So there's a possibility thay Frebass lived and reached Device IX. It might also be the reason why Acheron is planning to reach Device IX. The Kyoden trailer was confusing af, it left some key contexts. Like wtf is that "Naught" sword exactly. Is it the sword that she forged from the remains of ORIGIN and END sword, or is it a sword that is a gift from IX themselves bc that's just so unlikely and uncharacteristic of IX. Also is her changing to the white-haired form a form that she got from becoming an Emanator or is that just the result of her absorbing Hakuhatsu Ki's traits and power bc we know the dude has white hair too and is an oni, even that claw thingy on her hand looked like a trait from an oni. Idk man hyv better give us more context about this on the next patch cus I'd lose my mind thinking about what tf actually happened.

I hesitate to call this a third point, because it's not 100% clear what this means, but another piece of evidence would in Acheron's character story pt 3: "When the Armed Archaeologists arrived, the galaxy resounded solely with the melody of the Enigmata: Dark Sun's tears, rain's boundless outpour." Seems an interesting choice, at least to me, to have capitalized 'Enigmata' there.

At least the relic story implies Frebass was swallowed by Nihility. “yet she suddenly sees a dash of crimson blinking briefly into existence in the center of the pitch-black world” The dash of crimson might be Acheron trying to saver her from being completely ingulfed. I also think that the transition of Acheron losing her horns and hair turing white is a symbol of her erasing (or at least slowering) the oni corrosion through embracing Nihility in her attempt to free Izumo from the curse of onifying by destroying the two planets alltogether (considering in the trailer all the other weilders and the people of Izumo all turned into oni after being exposed to and utilizing the power of the sentinels for themselves. “Izumo used the might of the Edict Edges to light up their uncivilized world of darkness in less than ten Amber Eras, building cities of dazzling neon lights.” probably means they used the Edict Edges as a source of energy for their society).

Now that I think about it, the person narrating the lore of it must be Acheron herself, even the set has the same flowers Acheron has on her design so it must've been retrieved by her. That may be it, or her slashing towards the black sun could also be seen as her still fighting against the nihility.

The lance is definitely meant to resemble Shamash/An-Utu, the baseball bat thing, Acheron alluding to Kevin and Kiana respectively when we first meet her etc. But I think MC is just meant to reference them here and there. More like easter eggs rather than being a full on variant. Kind of how it's still debatable if Ayato is really meant to be an Otto variant or just reference him just because (and they have a ton more in common imho). Either way, I'd love a full on white hair / blue eyes / clearly, clearly Kevin - Kevin in HSR haha

I think the reasons why they still confine Bronya into Belobog is fiest because she's also a parallel to HI3 Bronya in the beginning, where Cocolia is actually her puppet master. However now that she's also free, I hope that Hoyoverse can give her justice. Second, it was also one of the earliest characters in the game so they can actually bait HI3 Players to play HSR. And third, we literally have so many Bronyas it started to become confusing, maybe somehow a version of Prometheus exist in HSR and go to Bronya as well. Do note that HI3 Bronya already return the Herrscher core to Welt so maybe we'll see Welt's development in HSR. Also I might feel really bad for Hanser as well since she's literally locked by just Bronya, in an interview she said that Cyberangel is her least favorite song in her career, compared to Yellow Zero and Sa Dingding, so they decided to not give Bronya the spotlight that much since Hanser also works in the backgrounds as a songwriter as well for Hoyoverse. Also apparently in an early version of Genshin Impact, Childe called the Cryo Archon Bronya the Tsaritsa. Maybe like what Acheron being a counterpart of Mei giving an amazing background in HSR, they might also give Bronya the same treatment in Genshin. Considering that Raiden Ei's backstory isn't really that amazing compared to Acheron.

@@kalWuWa only Earth's Honkai Energy, not Mars, Qiming, or the ones in the bubble worlds. It's also not sealed, only redirected to the moon to let Earth heal from Project Stigma.

@shinhikaru Qiming has either very few flows of Honkai or great abilities to resist it. When we fought Sa in Qiming, the issue wasn't the honkai itself, but the fact Sa used it to reset the planet, thus blocking it into a Samsara (similar to what the Earth had until Kiana started to take control of Finality). As for the bubble universes, they'll never be freed from the honkai, as they are ruled by the Sea of Quanta, one of the two superior dimensions in the Honkaiverse.

@@LePionnier78 do note that The Cocoon of Finality and Sa are similar to Aeons in power. Kiana fusing with the Cocoon basically means that she can control Honkai Energy but only to the world the Cocoon last operated, this also count for bubble worlds that are anchored to Earth as well. Sa also control Qiming's Honkai Energy for her own plan, since she is devote to outclass the Cocoon of Finality to be the one that rules over all the Honkai Energy.

I've had the thought that while MEI (the warrior, not the researcher in Izumo's case) succeeded in defeating the Kami, Izumo still failed in its embrace with the Kami. Unfortunately, being swallowed by IX likely means it cannot have another samsara cycle. But since Izumo seems to be parallel to the Mu of Earth's Previous Era, it also would seem to indicate that Acheron is experientially older than any surviving Flame-Chaser, regardless of the troubles she has with IX having most of her memories. It's a bit like how Fu Hua had to shed some of her memories using _Fenghuang Down_ to avoid getting mentally overwhelmed by them all, but... involuntary, since Acheron didn't have a choice. It's also important to note that, as in the JP version of _Kyoden_ , Izumo broke the Sentinels themselves in a time of relative peace, that _Origin_ and _End_ were likely created as a pair, and that MEI used her own power to make the broken _Origin_ into _Life_ , which she used to try to attack IX before she became Acheron, and the sword became _Naught_ .

If I recall correctly, it was never confirmed if the Black Hole near Izumo IS IX. The argument against it is that anybody near Lord of Nihility is overwhelmed with such unimaginable depression that they would just kill themselves. If IX was near Izumo, barely anybody could survive on it. On Naught blade, it is implied that it is forged from Acheron's own life force as it is said that she reforged one life into it - while being the last survivor of Izumo.

The blackhole was acknowledge as a "shadow of IX" so its basically IX itself. IX shadows exists in different areas of the cosmos that's why the unknown companion of Acheron in the flashback says that THEY weave a great shadow

I kinda have an ongoing theory basically with taking the title of "Nameless" to a logical extreme. People who have lost their homes, purpose, and of course, their names. I expect Silver Wolf to be HSR's "Bronya" and similarly Acheron is Mei, and for them to eventually fully join the Astral Express crew under the Path of Trailblaze as Nameless. I think The Belebog Bronya having a different name and a different CN voice actor from HI3rd whereas Silver Wolf kept Hanser is subtly important. Hoyo has already shown with IL Dan Heng that they're not going to shy away from having multiple versions of characters in SR, so I kind of expect that to happen with SW and Acheron.

i personally think how bronya will be relevant in starrail again, is, seele ends up disappearing into the sea of quanta (somehow) and bronya wanting to save her, asks the express to take her to someone that can help her enter the sea (and maybe she gets her GGZ firemoth look while on the express), and i think her, and eventually acheron and a kiana, will all be on the express together and build up a relationship from there

I find it thematically very interesting that after killing her Kaslana variant, her hair turns white 🤔 Especially when you consider that the Japanese concept of Mu (Naught) in Zen Buddhism effectively represents the transcendence and dissolution of opposites/duality, and after Origin clashed with End, there was only one. Great video as usual, well explained lore stuff and very based for calling out the media illiterate bunch. However, about what you said at the end about the honkai trio, I don't think they need to be super important in star rail at all. They already had so much time to shine and develop in the other honkai games, I feel hsr is a good time and oppurtunity to let other characters shine, rather than just recycling the same characters over and over. It's nice that they are there, like cool references and they can be interesting, but they shouldn't be the main focus of the story anymore. I play hsr to play hsr, not replay hi3.

HSR is NOT a Bubble Universe. HSR happens across all of the Imaginary Tree. The worlds we visit in that game are different star systems separated by Imaginary Energy. The Erath in HI3 is just one of the many Worlds on the Tree. Bubble Worlds are something completely different. They are unstable worlds from the Sea of Quanta.

Maybe there's no sign of Honkai in HSR's region of the universe because the Aeons reign here. Who is to say the entire of HSR isn't already under the influence of Terminus which might just be a massive Cocoon of Finality that turned into an Aeon ? As a Hōkai 3rd player, it would be Acheron. Acheron is one of the strongest lore wise, apart from other Emanators and Aeons, I doubt there is anyone she could not kill.

The problem is that many people use Kami to scale Acheron against Honkai Impact 3rd characters. The problem with this is that they are only meant to be parrelels to another and not literally the same thing. Honkai scales way higher than Kami does. The two are completely different in nature. Kami came from another planet to escape IX and kill everyone on Izumo. Honkai is a higher dimensional god that looks for civilizations to "embrace" across different star systems. Hi3 Kevin is so much more powerful than Acheron's version of him for this reason. Also, because Hi3 has more lore surrounding Finality and Kevin's power. So, this needs to be taken into account when discussing this debate. Welt's Divine Key is not the same as the Sentinels.

Because the only honkai that is higher dimensional being is just Cocoan, the rest is not even that strong ,the rest is still much weaker than the anti matter legion but we are not talking about that. We also can't confidently say that Kevin's HSR is much weaker, even though the 12 sentinels are parallel to the Hi3, they are still Canon in Lore. We cannot immediately Jump to conclusions saying their authority is weaker than some herrscher. If I'm honest, the gap between HSR and Hi3 is quite large..Hi3 is still very behind compared to HSR both in the scope of cosmology or civilization level

@neoz1493 Meh. I think it depends on the Herrscher or characters you pick. It's not as simple as HSR > Hi3. HSR is more focused on raw power, and Hi3 is more focused on authority and dimensionality, which trumps anything having to do with raw power. Again, Kami are aliens who descended on one planet and lost. Honkai has been around since the start of time itself and was a concept ever since Ggz. The CoF is at least 12D if you take the moon arc into account and the statement that its authority transcends all dimensions. We know the Aeons are higher dimensional beings, but we have no scale for them. They are at the very least 4D-5D beings. But because we lack info on exactly where they fall in that area of scaling, we just don't know. The only thing holding the Cocoon back is that it only has authority over one star system at a time. But according to the manga, it has destroyed countless star systems. It is also billions of years old as well. So it also has some ridiculous feats scaling wise. For now because we lack needed info on the Aeons, I would put the Cocoon of Finality above them for the sheer fact that it seems to have more authority over the proper world than they do from a dimensional stand point. It also isn't bound to a set path and can act freely with all its 13 Herrscher authorities as well, which work as conceptual laws. Aeons embody concepts, and Herrschers manipulate them. That is the key difference between the nature of the two. This doesn't make all Herrschers stronger than Aeons, but I would make an argument that Finality is an exception to that.

@@jakeblitzcoffie4859 kami is a form honkai u could say unless mihoyo retcons all the statements in hi3 which would they do to fit the narrative of star rail but whats odd is after all this time they never encountered hi3 verse or star system, i believe the hi3 verse is either in the higher dimension not accesible to anyone or in the lower dimension.. i also refuse to believe the cocoon is purposely hiding because of someone or thing whatever, im honestly curious to see how they would tie this knowing why the title of this game is *honkai* star rail or they could never who knows as for me i hope these 2 games wont connect other than welt is in hsr universe..

I have my suspicions Aeon of destruction created Honkai, Kaimis and other creatures to destroy worlds. That includes the antimatter Legion. But for some reason they’re going after humans pacifically.🤔🤔🤔😰 These creatures were made pacifically to wipe out humanity, completely regardless of planet . Cause I already know that the entire Hoyoverse is a universe, and each world or game are terraform planets made for humans, and not the humanoid aliens. Aeon of destruction might be a former human that was betrayed, either in the ancient or by someone he loves, which is why he’s going after humanity pacifically.(well this is speculation.)🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔💀💀💀☠️☠️☠️☠️

I think you're wrong because cocoon of finality is billion years old. Aeon of destruction doesn't even exist when cocoon of finality was young. Qlippoth, the oldest known aeon is only 500k years old. Younger than cocoon.

@@TrickyMellow I'm talking about the previous Aeons of Destruction I've probably been multiple versions of the Aeons, it seems that Aeons, are eventually killed or disappear so there could have been one billions of years ago or further back cuz I know the current ones are pretty much newer, and some of them have died so there could have been a previous Aeons of Destruction. But it's only a theory.

@@texben123 idk, doesn't feel like there's previous aeon of destruction otherwise IPC would state that there was previous Destruction Aeon. I don't think there's previous Hunt Aeon either for example. The birth of Aeon usually means the birth of a path iirc. So Destruction really is recent and pretty young. Honkai is really wierd, for example Sugar and Sky people are older than most Aeon. They are older than even the Aeon of Trailblazer, yet they know about the world of Star Rail (Sky people targeting Himeko) and know how to traverse imaginary barrier (Sugar and Sky people) using star gate method, this was before Trailblazing Aeon even exist. As it stand right now, Honkai are older than known Aeon and have no relation to destruction because the concept of Honkai is to embrace humanity, they destroyed them because some error in civilization development trajectory.

Is the black hole that orbited by acheron's home planet is IX? because some acheron fanatic saying that acheron destroyed the black hole with that one last slash. They say acheron is strong enough to destroy a black hole. Of course I don't believe that. I mean Acheron wandering alone means her home planet already destroyed by the black hole. And even if that black hole is not IX I don't think acheron able to destroy a black hole

Acheron is an emanator, destroying black holes is no big deal for her.. But what says Acheron destroyed the black hole in the video is a hoax/false... Acheron didn't destroy the black hole, but she only made the black hole more active and devoured all of Izumo & Takamagahara.

Just like Acheron back story make people confused and we can see that so many people have different understanding about the context. I hate how story/lore in HSR is not well-written, always lost a lot of contexts and not explicitly said even tho it's so interesting. Guess this is the result when HSR is a story about journeying in universe so they have a lot of homework about the world building, despite of that HSR has the least main story update compare to the other Hoyoverse games (do you still remember when we're stucked in Loufu and each patch we only got about 30 minutes of story updates?). Then, now they choosed leave most of those world building context left in SU update. HSR is already a year old now, but the main story only has less than a week worth time length.

Yes I wanted to explain the HSR Bronya thing comes as the writers don't consider Belobog Bronya as the "True Bronya" but "alternate bronya", a version under different circumstances. Maybe or maybe not it's because it paralels with Genshin's possible Bronya as the Tzaritza and that except japanese she has a different voice qctress due to Hanser not feeling she is Bronya enough to voice her. However Silver Wolf is more aligned to "True Bronya" as she is a lot closer to 3rd's bronya and bronie to match, hence she is given a greater role despite her lack of seele.
