@@ACTIVEPRODUCTS I will. I have a pickup truck, SUV and commuter vehicle to wash. It should arrive May 26 - June 1. I have to admit watching all of these power washer videos and reviews on this unit has gotten me in the mood to wash a car. Crazy. 🤣 Up until this point I've been paying $60 a month for an unlimited carwash membership for 2 vehicles that, while convenient, feels like such a waste. I wish I had acted on my curiosity a year ago.

@@ACTIVEPRODUCTS Hell yeah! I like it...a lot. I immediately replaced a few items for a better experience. The rifle for a sgs28, hose for uberflex 50ft, and foam cannon that allowed for some adjustments (generic $25 foam gun). Also set up quick connects. I think I'll setup quick connects on the rifle and rod to get the wheel wells better. This unit is good! I get tons of foam with this power washer. I'm using a different foam cannon, but the impressive GPM at a powerful and perfect PSI for cars is what makes it possible for thick foam. Effortlessly removes the suds and powerful enough to remove the bugs. I didn't have to contact wash at all. Foam, wait, power rinse. 🤙 Real world results are solid. I haven't tried it yet with a turbo nozzle, but I don't think this pressure washer is ideal for power washing cement. Who knows? Maybe it rocks at that too. Great as a stationary unit for my cars which is what I bought it for. I need a DI system though...don't wanna mess around with towels on my truck. Too much work. The Corolla? Easy peasy. My wife's Acadia? So-so. With an incorporated DI system I could one-hand wash each of these 3 vehicles. This was a good first-time experience with a home pressure washer system. Looks badass too. Something about those neon green ones at home depot/lowes that erks me. And according to the pros (with proof numbers) this ve52 is way better. Yeah! 🤙

After installing 50ft flexzilla hose w/ mtm wand w/ 40deg/3.7, massive surging that eventually went away, gage was reading just under over 700psig. Hello can you tell me if the motor is brushless and if that is an important feature to have in a pressure washer ?
@ACTIVEPRODUCTS3 жыл бұрын
We use the biggest universal motor for pressure washer, we don't use a brushless motor. Generally, pressure washer pumps last for 70 hrs and the 5 piston pump we use last for 100 hrs. The lifecycle of a brushless motor is 200 hrs, it's not viable to include an expensive brushless motor when it outlasts the lifecycle of the pump by such a margin.
@nickdee19133 жыл бұрын
@@ACTIVEPRODUCTS Thank you I appreciate the feedback. I gave one to my daughter and she loves it 👍
@ACTIVEPRODUCTS3 жыл бұрын
There are basically two types of brushless motors - induction and “digital” brushless motor. Induction motors last longer than “brush” motors (aka universal motors), are quieter, but twice as heavy and more expensive. Digital brushless motors have been used on pressure washers for the last 5 years and are quieter and use a digital controller to control the speed of the motor. They are more efficient and quieter as well but due to their construction and the need for a digital controller are much more expensive. How important the motor is depends on how important things like longevity, sound, ability to control speeds, size and of course, cost are to you. Universal motors like the ones found on the VE52 and CAT 1800 are good for the majority of household and DIY applications. They offer the best balance of cost, weight and performance.

This is a beautifully shot and edited video. Definitely wouldn't expect this level of video quality from a consumer products company known for their from a pressure washers! I also like the level of transparency in this video as well (addressing the ever upward increase in price of the unit over the last few years in addition to acknowledging marketing claims vs actual performance numbers). Once again, these are things that you simply wouldnt expect from a company like Active (and I think that this shows that we should never judge a book by it's cover on in this case - never just the integrity of a company because of the price of their products). In regards to the pressure washer itself, I decided to purchase this pressure washer BEFORE Obsessed garage stumbled upon it and I am happy to say that here. Many people only gave this unit a shot after it received the stamp of approval from Obsessed Garage, but this pressure washer has been around for a few years now and it appears to have gotten better and better with each iteration. I have really enjoyed my pressure washer thus far and I dont have any complaints or issues with it whatsoever at this point in time. I think that the cost-to-performance ratio on this one is amazing and kudos to Active for what they've been able to achieve thus far. I was skeptical about ordering it on Amazon because it was not a prime purchase but it was still delivered to me in three days and in perfect working condition. I'm rooting for Active and all the little guys who are attempting to burst onto various markets with better designed products that actually address the needs of consumers!

Sure it will be less common but these days many folks have 220/240 in their garage for specific tools etc or for car charging or RV hookup. I wouldn’t rule it out. There is a market for such a unit. And at that rate if you need to go to 220/240v US plugs then jump up and make the unit truly adjustable and head all the way up to like 2000psi and great flow rates etc. at 220/240 you could have up to a 30 or 50amp circuit to use.
