My bias is Jungkook as he was the first one to catch my eye (and ears) when I listened to ON (the first BTS song I ever heard). I am in awe of his many talents at such a young age. And as it was suggested below The Rise of Bangtan is THE documentary to watch to understand BTS and Army. It's fanmade and incredibly professional and well researched.

Actually it's Suga, who produced the most out of all members. RM is the one who wrote the most songs out of all members. Suga is the only member who produces for other artists and wins awards as producer

Yeah.. Suga is the one who produce most of the track and other artist too. Rm mostly writing a song in bts track but produce as well.. Suga and rm lyric was writen very well and poetic

Thats because songwriter gets added into producing credits, i mean, you need to write the song before you can produce it. They have different roles, RM shines writing and making the song while Sugas talent is to finish of the song in the producing part of it. Two different roles and both needed, you cant make a song with other part missing. Suga doesnt have more credits over all, he has just focused on one specific part(producing). Suga is Great at producing, but without RM we wouldnt have over half of all the amazing BTS songs that we know today. Thats just the fact.

When they were talking about KOMCA credits they made a mistake. KOMCA credits only songwriters and composers, not producers. So the numbers are only for songs which they wrote, not produced. Numbers of credits of the members as producers are around 10 songs, except for SUGA - he is producer of 40-50 songs

Yes, they all dance but the official dance line is usually at the center/front of the formations. Being scouted by their looks is common in Korean entertainment industry, after auditions if they are interested and have potential, they get trained in singing/rap/dance and more. I recommend the docuseries "The rise of Bangtan" to understand better their story and the Korean industry, it's on youtube!

Info that wasn't in the video: 1. RM stands for Real Me. 2. Starting from the age of 14, he used to sneak off to perform as Runch Randa in the underground rap community. 3. RM was always at the top of his class and scored in the top 1% of the nation's TOEIC exam 4. His mixtape Mono deserves more love. 5. Suga was a model student who used to be a prefect in school and his dad opposed to his choice of being a musician so he used to throw away his sheet music. 6. With no financial support to do music, Suga starved to save money for music equipment and worked various part time jobs. He damaged his shoulder when he got hit by a car in a delivery but he kept it from BigHit because he thought they would kick him out (for being a handicap to BTS). So, he endured the pain while dancing for some time. 7. Suga only has 124 songwriting credits under the Korean Music Copyright Association but he has over 200 unreleased songs every year since he write songs almost every day. 8. BTS trained to dance and sing and lived together for at least 8 years. While Suga and RM lived together for 10 years. 15. Till this day, like athletes, BTS practice their choreography 12-18 hours daily and still has energy to produce music. 16. BTS has a series of music videos that form a story arch, known as BU, BTS UNIVERSE, which is about the pains of youth, self reflection, development and achieving adulthood. 17. V is the only Baritone vocalist in BTS who can still hit notes as high as tenors.

Before I could tell them apart I was so confused about that one voice, couldn't say if it was a man or a woman or even a human at all, it sounded so different and unique to me, so special... I couldn't even understand that such a voice existed. Then I found out it was that boy called Jimin and first thought "his voice must be heavily processed to sound like this", but when he sings a capella he sounds even better. I'm still highly surprised every time I hear him singing, after many years, as if it was the first time 😂 He's my bias because of many reasons, but it's still really difficult to choose one of them, they are all so amazing!!

The “eo” is basically like pronouncing “o”, but softer. So you don’t need to pronounce the “e” and “o” separately, just make a very soft “o” sound :)

The video where JHope is singing and they are setting down, is the class of 2020 performances. That one specifically is Spring Day. Side note I'm also not big on rap, but their mix tapes are so well produced and written that I listen to them a lot. The Jin as the main character, is because they have a whole universe build up, called bts universe, there's a whole story line that connects a bunch of music videos and notes that come with the albums, and in that storyline Jin is the one that has been trying to solve the main conflict. That's something that Bang Hyuk likes to do, BTS, TXT and now Enhypen have really storyline based music videos. Not all of them, but many of them hahah there's videos that go DEEP into what the stories may be about. Hope this helps u! Loved the section. btw my biases are V and Suga lol

The thing with Jin is that, even if he joined with no music experience, it doesn't mean he immediately joined bts and became part of the biggest group with no experience. He gained experience through years of hardcore training before bts even debut. He certainly did have a natural talent of course and Yes it was more difficult for him than others, so he practiced harder. Thats how it works in K-pop, all members train for at least few years to hone their skills in order to be ready for debut.

SUGA makes number one hits in absolutely different genres, he created music in r&b, pop, alternative rock, hip hop, pop rock. He won awards like "best r&b/ballad", "best producer", "best r&b/soul", etc. He said he is working on acoustic songs these days. Not long time ago he produced instrumental track for Samsung Galaxy and on October 15 will be released new song in pop genre, which is produced by SUGA for singer OMI. Jungkook is my bias, he's one of my favourite singers (has been and is still for a very long time!). He's really amazing, being the main vocalist, lead dancer, center and subrapper from such a young age. I think watching "Jungkook the main vocalist of BTS" by Ida S (same channel as this intro video) will give you a better insight on what Jungkook does as the main vocalist. Highly recommended. When you were wondering about what a "visual" mean, in K-pop groups, they tend to have a member that is consider the visual attractive to the group, but I think Jin is so much more than that, also when they mention the "main role" is because he is the main character in the ongoing story that BTS has, one that you have to connect trough several of their music videos, and also some notes that come with their albums; it is known as the "BU" or "Bangtan Universe" there is even a comic about it, it's super worthy to get into it, cause it's based in a lot of literature, mythology and psychology theory, just like their music. They are so much deeper than they tend to seem at first listen... 😉

6:37 It is hard to answer. I always prefer a different member depending on the situation and the song. For example, I love Jin‘s voice in their Japanese songs, Suga‘s rapping style, I love RM‘s writing style the most and so on. But overall I would say Jungkook is my bias (because of his personality, talents, vocal color and abilities), but I also love and appreciate Jin, RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin and V (basically my second favorite members 😅). Edit: 26:08 Yes and no. They are all dancers, but there is a dance line (J-Hope, Jungkook and Jimin). They get the more difficult dance parts in their choreography and do some tricks sometimes, they also have projects or subunit dances on top, for example the “3J dances“ or dances for their intros in the award shows. You can see it as the more advanced dancers of the group with J-Hope and Jimin being the main dancers with professional backgrounds and J-Hope the dance leader as an extra role (he helps teaching them the choreography and also choreographing).

About the positions: Main is "highest", followed by lead and then sub. Jimin is the Main Dancer along with J-Hope and JK is the lead dancer (them 3 form the dance line), and for the vocalists the positions are JK: Main, JM: lead, V and Jin: sub. You might notice this based on how many lines they get and how many dance breaks/positions in the center they get during their performances and that most of the time the dance line are in the front and get the hardest parts of the choreo.

SUGA’s studio is called The Genius Lab. He’s known as Minstradamus because he more often than not makes accurate predictions. Agust D is SUGA backwards with DT for his hometown, Daegu Town backwards added on. The ‘g’ in Yoongi is pronounced like the ‘g’ in gate. He writes almost 300 songs a year. The age order is Jin, SUGA, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and last the youngest, Jungkook. Maknae is pronounced more like, Mangna The order goes, Main, Lead, Sub. when i first heard of BTS JIMIN already got my attention without knowing his background and when i dig more about him i was even more impressed. Then i got to love the rest of the members. My bias wreckers RM and Suga as i really appreciate their roles and contribution to the group. Theyve been through a lot of hardships when they debuted and almost disbanded at an early stage and im glad they pushed tnrough coz they deserved to be well known. If you learned more about them you will love and respect them more. K-Pop groups go through rigorous training that lasts anywhere between 2 -4 years, and sometimes longer. So despite not having any singing, rapping, or dance experience, the company you're under works with you in that time to fully prepare you for your debut. In their case, BTS trained for 3 years before they even released any music.

So yeah to explain some questions. 1. Oldest to youngest:Jin,Suga,Hobi,RM,Jimin,V and Jungkook 2.Main means being like the most skilled in that think as Jungkook being the main vocalist. Lead basically means that you are very important in that activity but not the best or most stable in it. As well as the lead vocalists as Jimin and V(never really saw Jin ask for help but sure he might as well asked our Golden Maknae)asking Jungkook to help them with their parts(mostly Jimin). Sub pretty much being skilled at something else that you don't do much or really just sometimes as Jungkook being the sub rapper for having rap parts in the past but now mainly to fill in the spot if someone is sick or something. Basically Main>Lead>Sub 3.The official Dance line which includes Hobi,Jimin,Jungkook and Tae are like the best dancers in the groups as for have danced in the past as Jimin and Hobi than there are Jungkook and Tae. Jungkook was having dancing sessions to practice more the dancing which made him a very great dancer the official dance line was made the 3J. Than in 2018 Tae improved his dancing with his solo song Singularity. Which made hin join the official dance line that year and the full dance line was made. Not discrediting other members but it is what it is.

When I barely entered the fandom, my bias was Jimin since thanks to him I met BTS, but after almost 3 years in the fandom I have become OT7 bias, for me the 7 have their spark that I love. In terms of music, I'm more of a rocker, but with BTS I realized that I really enjoy the rap of RM, Suga and Hobi, but also those melodious voices of Jin, Jimin, Tae and Jungkook.

"RM" Stands for "Real me" not "Rap monster" Rap monster was his old stage name but he grew out of it and started to call himself "RM" His mixtape Album is called "RM" Which Namjoon he didn’t actually explain it but people think he said that it means as "Real Me" Also my biases are RM and Jungkook (or Namkook) Also there are all American rappers he has done a collab with.

He didn’t actually fully say that, was what it stood for. They asked him in the interview what RM would stand for, now that he didn’t want to be called Rap Monster. So he said “I DON’T KNOW maybe REAL ME.” (Paraphrased). He kind of just threw out something as an idea so, RM should just be RM.

Even if hard rap isn't you're thing, you have to respect him...from where he's come to where he is today. His solo work allows him to express his raw emotions a bit more freely. Jin is a revelation in the group. He may have that "innate" talent in him that was just waiting to be discovered and BigHit was able to uncovered that hidden talent. Jin came from a wealthy family and embrace the trainee days. So humble and down to earth. He is a caring and loving hyung to all his members like when they were still in training and they lack funds and resources he would randomly treat all his members to dinner paying with the credit card his mom gave him while he was away for training. When JK was still studying he would prepared JK's school meals and would drive JK to school, and he also feeds him more often. When JK almost wanted to quit BTS because he misses his mom, Jin's love made him stayed. He was treated as a real family at Jin's house whenever Jin would bring him to his house. In their house (where BTS all equally own and share) Jin rules the house and whenever members would tell him they're going somewhere he is so kind and would give them allowances, just like a real brother to them all. Like when Suga celebrated his birthday, Jin paid for their meals treating all the members and all their staff. He often cooks for all the members too just like Suga and yet so humble. During the pandemic he brought all his members to his uncle's strawberry farm and they all went strawberry picking because he saw his members sad and down when their concert tour was cancelled.
