Wanted to share this interesting story here as I stay as a tenant of this family. A few years after I moved into this house, I was hinted about the great history behind this family and Google searched about their history. I shared this finding to my house owner who is the eldest Lodd member( he recently passed). He was surprised that I studied their family history and handed me the Madras musing paper article written about their family members. The LGN who is mentioned in this video was a great scholar who knew many languages and also had a big collection of books which the family had donated. In addition one can also see the tombstones of their family members in the current area. I have lived in many parts of the country and to stay in a place where Gandhi and Swami vivekananda had visited is one of the surreal moments.

Sir Thanks for your message. One of that family members by name Lodd Govinda Krishna Das was practicing as an Advocate in High court was having office at 112 ,Addl.Law chambers ,High court Buildings,Chennai-104and he passed away about 2 years ago .He was a very nice gentleman and his family properties were targeted by many of the tenants and finally they were unable to recover their lands worth about several crores .His father' younger brother by name Mr.Lodd Satyanarayan Das also used to my chamber for many rent control cases and I have conducted his case.Now it seems that Govind krishnadas'son is settled in London.Few family members are residing in GP.Road area.
