Just want to point out, "best deck in format" doesn't mean RP Law level or Tier 0. It's just simply the best deck in format. Every format has one, even with very open formats. There is always the best deck.

I love playing RP luffy and nami, i am going to main those on this new set. Saddly they both are stopped by a part of the actual meta decks, nami stomps enel but looses to reijuu and any blue decks (blue has bottom decking and pudding, they dont even need the gions to win, which are basically instant concede), and RP luffy can win against reiju and BY luffy, but suffers a lot to enel. Besides those, i really liked testing vegapunk, and i think it should get more attention, i think it has pottential to get a tier 2 on this list, but aside from that, i think this is a great list.

Go wide as quick as possible. If you play green or purple, try to attack Don. If you play blue, play Gion and Pudding. KO Kaya on sight if they play it too early.

Realistically, imo Op07 might be the end of BY Luffy. For prices, I think Blue being a bit cheaper to build (and nami existing), BY luffy will play against more blue.. and also blue doffy starter. BY luffy also struggles against red which might see a resurgence and purple luffy with magellan is just death for the deck. Also don't see much support coming in for the deck in the near future.

I think we will still see it pop up in OP08, but once the new starter decks come out, I think it will fall off going into OP09.

Making an OP 07, post-ban tier list is a bit odd. List goes into effect Sept 6, then OP 08 releases Sept 13th. The whole format is only a week.

Only important because it will take effect during nationals in Dallas which we are both attending. Having a format, although only a week, decide if you’re going to get into Worlds or not is pretty important.

I love Reiju and have been playing her for a while now, but she is NOT in tier 1. Her and Gecko should be swapped in this tier list.

Reiju is not tier 1. At all. Tier 2 is fine. Gecko is better than Reiju... and he's Tier 2 for some reason. Lucci is still tier 1 without stage. Matches just aren't as free without stage. For now they just swap stage for Ice Age or Helmeppo/ice Age. Keeping him in the same tier as Doffy, Perona and Boa is WILD. Enel is 1.5. It has great representation but the results aren't there. Struggles into Bonney. BY Luffy has a great matchup into it. It benefits from the Law and stage hit, but not enough to be a Tier 1 deck. If Bonney is shitting on BY Luffy, who is T1, it makes no sense for her to be T2. T1 easily, especially with the Lucci stage and Law hit. Nami has been putting in results and is easily at least Tier 1.5. It's completely pilot dependent, but a good pilot is difficult to stop.

BY Luffy main Reiju has never been hard. She doesnt have enough don and her not being able to do anything about sabo and not being able to do much about a 9k leader, her only real threat is pudding and playing around pudding is one of the standard things you just need to learn

I could definitely agree with this once the new starter comes out, but for now I think he’s sitting comfortably in tier 2. Without the new cards I think he’s still going to get washed by Lucci unless you draw the nuts.
