Mr. Kornfeld, the "bitch ass cardboard" helps cakes from collapsing in on themselves. In a traditional tiered wedding cake, there would be dowels in each of the bottom tiers, cardboard between the cakes, and sometimes a central dowel going through the whole cake. This helps the cake not collapse and still look pretty. - A Concerned Baker. P.S. Loved the video!

I'm assuming your deli and bakery departments are connected, so I'd say sometime between 9 and noon, or 2:30 and 5 in the evening would be the best times. You order a lil something, could be some cheese, could be some potato salad, could be some potato wedges. You ring it up at the deli counter. The only reason the ice cream cake didn't have cardboard in between is because ice cream is dense enough to hold the weight of the cake above it. A traditional cake at minimum, needs the card board to support it. A better tiered cake would also have dowels under it to prevent the top layer from sinking into the bottom.

I had my wedding last weekend and got so many complements on my wedding cake...it was from Publix and it was DELICIOUS! Vanilla cake with Buttercream frosting with lemon curd and blueberries between the layers.

Whole Foods did my wedding cakes! They did a small one for me and my husband and a huge sheet cake for the rest of the wedding! It was beautiful and delicious - my guests still talk about it! Best part is it was like $300 total!

What I love most about Candid Competition is we’re not being overloaded with videos. So the few we do get are that much more appreciated and more enjoyable. I actually go back and re-watch from time to time. A huge mistake “Le BuzzFuzz” made was that they wanted quantity over quality and it got old fast. I stopped watching all together.
