Omg i had to pause the video to comment this but ME BEING THE OLDEST IS CONDITIONED TO ALWAYS GIVE WAY. And its not even funny because its indeed a traumatic experience that shapes how we cope with interpersonal relationships and how we see self-worth. Not enough parents realize that although they have raised their oldest kid to be highly reliant and independent, they often have a hard time expressing their emotions, as a result of having told indirectly that their emotions are ‘less important’ and were constantly neglected growing up.
