Wah Nina can afford go eat mac as a primary school kid so lucky leh. My allowance only 50 cents eventually to $2 at P6 (due to remedial classes) but I usually save more than half daily and have never overspend hahaha. And ya I agree with Sylvia that just be honest. I think growing up poor so also won't try to ask for more unless necessarily to buy school stuff but usually I'll ask my classmates share cost and stuff if possible and also won't waste. Learn to be resourceful and if got leftover money sure will return back in full to my mum leh. She don't feel bad for scamming money ah 😂 btw I'm 1995 for context that my canteen cost should be same or even more expensive than them.
