Game theory says that the optimal play, assuming a negligible board-state and an opposing Mystic Remora, is to feed the fish. If no one feeds the fish, then you can presume that none of the Remora's Opponents advanced their board-states (casting creatures advances board states, but most cEDH decks are like 60-40 spells-creatures, so it's easier to simplify here), in which case the Fish player gets to continue to advance his board state while slowing the game down (just like stax). This means he still gains an advantage. If the opponent is going to get an advantage anyway, then you should gain as much of an advantage as you can, in hopes that you become just as resource-rich as the Fish player. In this way, it becomes a 1 vs 1 rather than a free-for-all with you having been slowed down. Sorry if this was hard to follow, it's like 2am when I'm watching this.

It makes sense to leave in the mistakes because i dont think ive played a single edh game where someone makes a mistake, and i usually let people back peddle a little if everyone agrees to it

I agree, it's sometimes helpful for me to learn through witnessing the mistakes. It's a fine line to walk, making sure those errors did not change how the game ultimately ended. I appreciate the hard work put into each episode for that reason.

We just in-house banned the damn card. Since none of us are pros I guess it will take a while before we find a comparable efficient engine.

DArtis Wright totally forgot about urza. However Urza is mostly playable as a commander, while thrasios not only can provide UG in the command zone, but can also fit in the 99 as a value engine.

Nate would still get priority between each thrassios activation to kill him. Priority always goes back to the ACTIVE player, which is Tyler. Then priority passes in normal order.

Why does allosaurus shepard see play? Only giving green spells protection with an ability that I have never seen used in a 4 color deck seems bad. What about protection for creatures and enchantments on a 2 cmc 2/3 that is currently in standard, that seems much better in that slot. Or even teferi's protection

redirect spells like Misdirection are how colours like black and red get to do things in counter wars. Deflecting Swat and Imps Mischief are essentially counterspells if there's already a counter on the stack

It does enter as a copy of gilded drake, but the trigger that exchanges control of creatures targets, so he flickered in response to the trigger, not the copy.

1:50, misdirection can’t change target of guardianship if there is no other valid target, and because mis has to resolve from the stack to change guardianshios target mis won’t be on the stack as a target for guardianship. :/ if I’m right that’s a huge misplay.

Misdirection can redirect guardianship to misdirection. Once that resolved the guardianship attempts to counter misdirection instead but misdirection is not on the stack so guardianship fizzles.

Sorry but turn 1 land go is simply not good enough for Blue Farm. Go take a mulligan Nate and grab some fast mana to power out Ad Naus or Kraum at worst! Game 2 the same. Feed the Fish here, your opponent has a Crypt and Signet, so he's extremely likely to let that remora stick for forever because he plays Yidris and needs the colors.
