The wife says they would be spending on dinners and trips one minute and the next minute they are broke. If the income was erratic, I wonder why she didn't try to manage the finances accordingly🤔

Agree. As a wife, she just sat back and did nothing about the finances and divorced her husband when he couldn't provide for her anymore. Sorry to say this, but the wife is fairly useless and selfish.

She should’ve got out and got another job especially when she heard about the repayments she should’ve confronted it do you want me to get a job no because she had a nice little comfortable life she didn’t want to lose it. When you consider he done it for his wife and his children instead of visiting him in prison she divorces it that’s loyalty. I don’t doubt she’ll try to find another meal ticket what an odious woman.

At least he didn't go around killing people and stealing people's hard earned money. I understand how betrayed the wife must've felt but I feel sorry for the guy. He was a devoted and loving father and husband. That's rare to see.

Nothing honourable about robbing banks to 'provide for his family'. Nothing honourable about looking for quick easy cash. How about working in a legitimate job to provide for his family like millions of other men do? That is honourable.

@@takingiteasy3044 Did you see the whole video? He DID work in a legitimate honorable job, albeit a very difficult and competitive one. When I say honorable to rob banks I mean it in the sense of not robbing to buy a sports car and go on overseas holidays and other luxuries, but just to maintain his current lifestyle. Was he justified to rob banks? NO. But at least more "honorable" than robbing for unadulterated greed.

Daniela Panton dearest sister I meant to say he did it for the love of his beloved wife and family. He did not intend spend it with other women. Yes he lied to you but he loved you and did not wanted you to be harmed. In your point of view, you are correct. Please remember that we are two different people but he’s more closer to you than I do . He’s the father of your offspring.

I think there was something much deeper here if he felt like he couldn’t confide in his life partner about finances. If he felt like robbing banks was easier than to say “hey honey we are out of money, let’s figure this out together” then definitely something was off. So something was either up with him or something with her.

@@adelmerabet8661 She divorced him because (1) He deceived her, and (2) He was a convicted criminal. I am by far the larger earner in my marriage, the one who pays most of the bills. YET, if my husband did something like this, I'd divorce him. Not because he could no longer "provide", but because I couldn't be with a liar and a thief, and would realize that I didn't know him at all.

From a man's point of view, I would say that the wife was not really sincere enough. She did not have an endless love. She knows that the husband did something that she couldnt believe that he was that type of a person and he did it for his family. He is an inteligent man, he knows the consequences of his action, (very foolish) but that is love. Best of prosperity to her to get another man with such profound feelings for her to scarifices just for her. I hope that he learn

Because in the video was said he said he had taken care of the mortgage so she wasn't too worried about it. She thought he was working and pulling in money she didn't know that he was robbing banks

Oh no.....She definitely didn't know what he was doing! How could anyone ever imagine something of the sort! Right! She wouldn't lower herself to getting a job while they are together as it's His job to provide & keep her in the style to which she has become accustomed Wouldn't be surprised if she helped choose & setup each one! See the speed with which she dropped him! When he would have been needing her the most! No. No way anything she says can be believed.

I just looked up more info on this and found that Jeanne has written a book, been on several TV shows and done lots of interviews (Dr Phil, Dr Drew, American Greed & others). She really has benefited financially and not to mention the level of publicity she got. She seems to enjoy being in he limelight....milking this situation.

The wife did not keep her part of the vows she made when she got married to him. She vowed to marry him for better or for worse. She betrayed her husband when things got worst how convenient for her to divorce him when he got in jail. He sacrificed his life for his wife and kids. But the woman left him at the point of his most need.

NO! He did it not for her! He did it for his self-image. Because of adrenaline. Because of greed. Or because he was coward who was afraid to tell his wife he has failed. Sometimes people do what they do because in their heads it seems like the only way out of troubles. It doesn't really have to make sense for the rest, it has to make sense for the subjective person. Don't we all? The way I see it he loved her and his kids dearly. She is still single and that (to me) suggests she's still in love with him. Unfortunately the world doesn't always rotates in the way we want it to. I see this whole thing as sad.

This man took all the burden himself, when he was under tremendous pressure and lost his temper, his wife should talk to him and care and to find out why, not threatened him by giving the ring back. This man should seek help from his wife and other family members. Obviously, he had made a wrong decision. To me, I can forgive a husband like that, I will not divorce him and wait for his return. Because he just want to provide for the family.

@@jaijai5250 Idk, I get the impression that roles were laid on his terms. He controls the finances and his wife and mother of his kids should stay home with them. But it's just a hunch, the crimes were comitted to upheld a facade for his wife as well, seemingly as if he went to some lengths to keep her out of the know that they weren't really rich.

if she had been working instead of being a stay at home mom and enjoying life then i think this could have been avoided somehow.. not justifying what he did because he obviously did wrong by going about robbing people but i think it could be the pressure of bills piling up and no more means of income. PS: The friend is kinda annoying and little too intrusive into their business 🤷🏻‍♀️

The fact that he didn't tell his wife about their money issues is a sign that something else is wrong here. If I had to guess I'd say she would have left him if she realised they were completely broke and he was just trying to keep his wife and kids happy. Shooting this show is just another cash grab from her. He doesn't seem like a bad guy at all, just a man who lost everything and made big mistakes.

Lot of folk seem to be blaming her for not being psychic and knowing he wasnt working anymore& he had money issues. She was doing the job they had agreed she would do: caring for home and children. That's not her being lazy. That's work too! & That's their agreed plan. How about he should have been honest with his life partner and trusted her to work with him to resolve the problem..why is she to blame for trusting him and believing his lies. If theres no honesty theres no marriage and that's his fault.

They should have communicated with each other. Obviously with 3 jobs now, she was always able to work. There should be no shame in a man going to his wife and telling her she may have to get a job to help out. Bank robbery is not the solution. I feel bad for him but the family could have made material sacrifices and made it work without such a drastic measure that now has him in jail away from his kids.

It's different thou if you don't know that he's a criminal before marriage, but he wasn't, so I would ask myself why my husband did it from the first place, since he had no drug or other problems, the money went straight to her. I probably would maybe feel a bit guilty too, but nooo, not that one, money is number one, she made that pretty clear, or did you miss something?

My cousin was married to a bank robber who stole and took off to Argentina left his wife behind and took his mother instead this was Milan about fifty years ago.......the scandal of the family, I was very young at the time and thought it was funny...... the mother?😂

The guy lost his job , clearly then, it was sheer desperation drove him to rob banks. Hence his , extreme,change of character due to the amount of stress which he was,obviously, undergoing. A real criminal does not suffer anxiety. Only a man driven to do whatever it takes for the welfare of his wife and kids, whom he, quite evidently, loved, very much.

$25,000.00 a week and the next week broke. She was living the high life end of story! He was busy trying to keep up to her and her needs which were un-endless. The pressure was there and it's too bad he resorted to the unthinkable; she walks. Poor guy made a bad choice out of desperation. What was his driving force?? To keep his family.

He was obviously under a lot of pressure to provide the perfect life. Stealing from banks is not the answer but he was not a violent criminal. I'm amazed she divorced him not long after he went to jail. Maybe she should have had a longer think about it all and realised where she may have added to his pressures.

I had nothing atall against her in the beginning of the video, well, apart from thinking she was annoying but that's just me being petty but it's the fact she divorced him basically as soon as he got jailed! That's when he would be needing her the most & he certainly tried to make sure she's ok & going public with the story like this! No. He's her kids Dad if nothing else, have some respect, even for her kids.
