I wana defend Bill a little bit here. Bill was willing to give his life to protect his fellow survivors because he had been with them and going through hell for so long, he had a strong connection, there was a comic called "The Sacrifice" and in part 3 Bill along with the usual gang heads out to get to a point with three extra stragglers. He is quoted as saying "If you fall behind we leave you behind" Zoey confronts him latter saying "I call bullshit, no way your leaving the new meat behind." He responds with "Watch me" and when Zoey asks if that includes her, Francis and Louis he responds with we come back for our own. He was even responsible for leaving a doctor behind as they made an escape, so Bill can be a bit cold hearted when he needs to be. With that said I am not super big on the Dbd lore so maybe he could get connected with these survivors an be willing to sacrifice himself for them, maybe more likely if the entity keeps reviving them

I do think that after repeated trials he would build connections with the other Survivors and he'd treat them the same, but for a fresh Survivor, now that you have given that context, possibly not.

I 100% agree with you on the Stranger Things bracket. There is *no way in hell* that Steve wouldn't sacrifice himself for Nancy. I would be interested to see a version of this with only original survivors, since most of the licensed survivors have a massive edge over them in terms of power, skills, and experience.

mikaela was snubbed big time. she would absolutely survive over laurie as she can literally break the rules of the trial at will. i also believe feng min wouldn’t survive over yun jin. yun jin also willingly joined the realm in order to confront trickster. yun jin is far more ruthless and is willing to do whatever it takes. she is not a good person by any means but i think her selfishness would probably give her an advantage. not to mention feng is probably in a bit worse shape due to her alcoholism and her career choice, yun jin was once an idol trainee with is physically demanding.

Ada absolutely has plot armor and I'm genuinely convinced that all Ada players do as well. I was playing Huntress earlier and the last survivor was an Ada. She was injured and I was on her case, and she got lucky with her last team mate dying before I could down her. She got to the hatch and escaped alone.

counter argument for why laurie beats mikaela: even in the first movie, laurie was shown to have good survival instinct and was always able to think quickly, even getting hits on myers and also almost always managed to somehow escape his grasp. Not to mention, she was also going through a lot of emotions after seeing all of her friends dead and then myers going after her, so for her to do that well is really impressive. If laurie can do all of that with her mind clouded, then i'm confident that she would survive easily

Vittorio is definitely super popular, which I'm 100% okay with. That said, I do have a lot of Ash fans and old school Evil Dead fans who watch the channel, so my results could be quite different in that case. The catch with Ash is that he has literal plot armor on his side from a lore perspective.

in my opinion, the dream team would be cheryl, laurie, ash and david. cheryl having taken down a god is very well equipped. the laurie we have beat myers multiple times, giving her the knowhow and mental capacity to really shine. ash is literally disabled, yes, but with his previous experience he would be super vital in a team. and david is just built like a brick shit house, and considering his perks, show his real strength. bill, yun-jin and yoichi are all honorable mentions in my books, bill with his zombies experience, moreso than the re group, yun-jin for managing a literal psychopath for so long, and yoichi survived sadako, the strongest killer lorewise in the entitys realm

Tbh with you, even though they don’t have supernatural powers, I think Steve, Leon, Jill and Ada would be great members too. Steve because I think he’d be a great support character, Leon and Jill because they’ve fought a lot of crazy shit and been through a lot. Ada, because she’s able to survive impossible odds and find some way to escape death.

I just saw this sorry so basically steves outfits are actually all from season 2 but in the show steve mentions that he started working at scoops ahoy before the summer events of season 3 starting but in the dbd lore it mentioned they fought the mindflayer if i remember correctly and they went to abandoned Hawkins lab where they got taken by the entity before the season starts, then Jonathan got taken after, the versions of steve, Jonathan and nancy we see in dbd get taken between the gap from season 2 and 3 which explain but the jobs they seemed to have been working in season 3 ​@theARoberts

Regarding Ash, he's an old school horror icon. Those who grew up watching him usually have a lot of fondness for him. He's extremely experienced and lucky, as if you took Cheryl and Ace combined. He's also hilarious, which is why a lot of Ash players love to meme around with him. In the movies he also has a prophecy about him that is pretty much impenetrable plot armor.

So you do make a valid point to consider how long they've been in the fog, however, that's not necessarily based on when they were released. For instance Vittorio has been in the fog for hundreds of years. So for those we can know how long they've been in, you're right that it's a valid stat to factor in. Though I've also heard people say their memories are wiped after each trial... though I've never seen that for myself in the lore so either I've yet to come across it or it's simply commonly held head canon. You gotta be careful with your reasoning for the first time around with Steve. You mentioned his potential later in the show, and with that ideology, Laurie probably would be a bigger threat due to her “potential” later on in life.

So great point. I think the reason I felt I could say that about Steve and not Laurie was that for Steve I was referring to a smaller timeframe, i.e. the potential he reaches in the show is over a short timeframe. Now, to be totally transparent, I haven't seen the Halloween series, so I could be missing the fact that Laurie does too, feel free to fill me in. But my main reason to not vote Laurie early on had to do with her facing Mikaela, who in my estimation, should have made it close to the end due to her powers. So even though granted I argued for Laurie's inexperience, it really had less to do with Laurie and more to do with Mikaela. All that said, I appreciate you making the comment and making sure I keep my logic consistent. Sometimes I can falter in that so always feel free to point that out. Thanks!

@@theARoberts that’s totally fair and reasonable, I do agree that Steve does grow into that role later on in the series (not to mention Nancy stopped hesitating entirely by S4, she was probably the most proactive out of the cast). That being said, while I agree Mickey has her boons and magic, it’s a bit different than the experience one has when facing the supernatural. Yes, she can alter the trials, but without much experience, her boons will only heal/ hide her for so long. Laurie is complicated because of the version they added to DbD. But if we based it off potential (as well as the all potential timelines) Laurie would have an insane amount of experience and training. She would definitely be up there. I know a lot won’t agree with me since she perished in other timelines, but the most current one she is a boss. I’d say that’s what puts her above Mickey for the most part, even with the current version we had. She managed to fight Michael/ avoid him on her own. But at the end of the day that’s just my opinion. I do believe Laurie if paired up with someone would sacrifice herself to get someone out. She’d go down swinging, no doubt about it!

I’m sorry, but with Steve and Nancy… “if not more” when referring to Nancy???? Everything about Steve is more versatile to the Entity’s realm compared to Nancy. I love Nancy, but Steve is more athletic.
