Great well balanced review! It's surprising that just like Fitbit it doesn't allow you to mark a time period as invalid HR readings, because they will happen one way or another. Good points all around. I personally keep wearing a Fitbit because the health insights seem worth it and it doesn't require a subscription. Sleep tracking and resting heart rate remain useful especially over a few years and help understand what's going on through whatever life throws at you. As you mention, the lack of standalone features (time, notification, payments) and cost per year will likely make users miss this perspective over mid/long term a Fitbit or Garmin user would get.

Thanks! I definitely agree with you on the long term tracking being useful. Fortunately a lot of brands include those metrics in their smart watches and don’t require a monthly subscription! Cheers!
