Joy warned her against it and her husband said she didn't need to because she looked perfect. So she lied and said she wasn't going to do it and then went ahead and scheduled the surgeries anyway. Not only did she wait until the very last minute to tell her husband, but she told him by letting him know what he thinks doesn't matter and she doesnt care what he has to say. Even if she disagreed with her decision, she still should've told him. It's called respect and communication. Regardless of age or money, that's her life partner. Married 20 years and she didn't even have the decency to tell him she was about to get major operations. You seriously don't see the issue with that.

I dont watch this show but from what I can see it looks like one person is being interrupted while trying to finish her point. The person being interrupted doesn’t allow the interruption to occur and instead tries to finish the point, which causes both people to get louder and talk over each other. Whoopi sees that this is going to get messy so she interrupts both women and acts as a mediator, so that the show could go to break. I see nothing wrong with what Whoopi did. It doesn’t matter how old the people are. If two people can’t respectfully disagree its good for a mediator to get involved and de-escalate the situation.
