Women like the muscular dad bod because it allows them to have their cake and eat it too. A low body fat Chris Bumstead requires work and attention that the woman doesn't get. She will resent you because you spend so much time NOT with her. But the muscular dad bod is what they THINK takes no work to have when really it's just a muscular dude in the bulk season. They think since it requires no work, they get all your attention and you still look good.

What does "socially acceptable" even mean? The average man and woman in the USA and many parts of the world are overweight. So clearly being overweight and having a "dad bod" and "mom bod" is socially acceptable. Also, like it's already been stated, what does does dad bod even mean? What men think a dad bod is seems to be different to what women think a dad bod is. Moreover, when examples of men are shown (e.g. Jason Mamoa, Neymar, etc) and they've been described as having "dad bods", the term is being used as an insult. People love to cherry-pick their evidence and make some double standards up to act as if they're so oppressed and have it so hard.
