I hope everyone understand this. I'm literally kind of sad bc some days ago I got to know a girl in Instagram and she was muslim and also we are from same country. So I just sent her a message that LGBT is haram and we should not do something that is haram. But she still obsessed with those BL and she is also still celebrating that pride month or thing and posting those things when I guess she actually consider herself as straight. I was abused by my female cousin sexually as a child and when I grew up I had an attraction to women but knew it was wrong. I sought help and I discovered that due to this early abuse it evoked certain feelings and emotions due to this. To this day I fight this within me and I know Allah is all wise and he guides me everyday to heal and get better. I pray for all children who are in these disgusting abusive environments and for Allah to punish those who subject such evil to those who are helpless. Just thought I would share this as sometimes I think when abuse happens it damages a lot of the brain development especially if you are young and still mentally and emotionally developing. I used to believe they were born this way, till I saw a TedTalk where a lesbian lady was talking about sexuality spectrum and what not. The fact is: If people don’t ward off evil sexual feelings toward the same gender, toward their sibling, toward a toddler, etc., it can lead to action. I think it's important to not operate on their "nature" premise, but operate on Prophet Lut's (AS) "nurture" premise as he (1) clearly indicated the ability to choose by stating "you approach men instead of women" and (2) thereafter offered the daughters of the nation for them to marry. Appeasement to their false premises before the guidance already given to us isn't right. There is no dignity in living a life of shame and secrecy. It, "human dignity for everyone", is a superior value to anything that has been on offer throughout history. But don't see the trees and miss the forest. If today, "young people", as you put it, are feeling that there is less shame in being who they are (and sexual orientation and gender is just ONE component of who we are), then this is why, when asked, people are being more honest about this. This is important in polls and surveys. It is absolutely the case that people in the past who were bisexual would always report themselves to be heterosexual, if asked. If that is no longer the absolute case, then this is a good thing.. If there were other parts of ourselves (NOT sexual orientation) that people have been made to feel so ashamed about for so long, then a new social and political climate that is less punishing would let these parts of ourselves express themselves too. I think one important thing you should mention is also what you eat. Pig, for example. I think it's such a rapid change because in this day and age most people aren't put to death for being who they are so they feel more safe to come out which makes me more proud of being apart of the LGBTQ. Also with the whole reproduction thing I'm definitely sure there will still be enough straight people to keeps things going but as of current most people are know just aren't motivated to have kids because it's too stressful and most people now have the knowledge that the Earth is currently overpopulated so most people just worry about that too but I'm sure everything will be fine. I was a Baptist Pastor and married to my accepting wife for 51 years. I cared for her with MS for almost 26 years before she passed. I am gay and that was medically proven. I went through 13 years of reparative therapy including electronic shock therapy. They placed me in a booth and put a wire ring that measured temperature changes on my private parts and showed me about 1000 pictures of men and 1000 pictures of women over about 10 days. When I saw pictures of the men, my body temperature rose and they delivered high voltages of electricity through other wires that were attached. It was horrific. But the machine never recorded anything when I saw all those pictures of nude women. There isn't anything anyone can do to influence the outcome of those tests. Later the Dr said it proved that being gay is not a choice and that I am gay. How dare they do that! I am not looking for a partner or husband. I am too old now. The entire medical profession declassified homosexuality as an illness 51 years ago in 1973. But my family said if I fell in love with a wonderful man and wanted to marry him, they would give me their full support. That meant a lot.

Religion that I come from has neither condemned nor vehemently exalted homosexuality but have neutral stance over it that is allowing homosexuals all general rights n no alienated feelings as if god has disown you unlike Abhramic faiths. Ved, Upanishad, Purans, Lawbook like manusmriti do not objurgate homosexuality ( however manusmriti that is a Hindu law book prescribed punishment if a elder person seduces a younger one in illicit manner). Our scriptures, philosophical theories and regional folk Lores have so many stories of transgenders, gays and lesbians.
