The elites and big banks are buying up all the properties and sending prices up because they easily out bid common people. and their doing it at such a high rate that sellers know this and that they can get more....so its a market trend that is causing the rise in cost. Why would banks and elite be buying up so much realty??? Its part of the agenda for "the great reset". We will own nothing and be happy they say. Banks usually hate holding onto homes. They are not in the realty or rental business. But there's a new agenda..... & This is them taking over the housing market so they can redistribute & reconstruct it their way. Just look up why the worlds biggest shadow bank, "Black Rock Banking System is buying up realty".

I personally don't want my sick coworkers coming in and infecting me, but this contract will certainly push that circumstance. Looked into it, and in the state of Georgia it is perfectly legal (and VERY common). Previously, I though unions had played an important role in the past, but may not be necessary in today's market. If overtime pay wasn't mandated by an overreaching government, i would be working 50-60 hrs/week at my main job right now, and not 35 hours there and 15-20 at a different gig. That works for a while... until the people now getting more pay (with benefits) see that the prices of everything are now higher, and they are right back where they started. Let's talk about the benefits for a moment... You want to make healthcare affordable? GET RID OF INSURANCE COMPLETELY. If there was no insurance, no one would be able to afford healthcare under the current prices and the healthcare providers would have no choice but to lower prices to a level that everyone could afford - and then everyone could afford it. The new model is the "revolving door" of hiring new employees, using them while they are eager, then getting rid of them before it comes time for their raise. I don't see why any worker would tolerate that business model and there is backlash to that business model. No one cares about their jobs or the consequences of doing subpar work. Why should they? There will never be a livable wage. If employers pay people more then the prices of everything in life will go up to balance it back to what it is now. People who want to make more money need to learn how to save and build more skills that will lead to their own business. It’s always been this way.
@Cynthia_Cantrell3 жыл бұрын
@@EliteCannagivers It hasn't "always" been this way. It used to be that workers' wages rose right along with productivity gains. That was until Ronnie Raygun took office. Since then their wages have stagnated for 40 years, but CEO wages have increased handsomely. The track we are on now is unsustainable. Historically, about 70% of our GDP has depended on consumers buying stuff. CEOs don't spend nearly as much of their income on consumer products as the mass of workers do - they can not keep the economy afloat by themselves. We can either start paying workers livable wages, or we can keep going as we have been since the 1980's and wait until the working poor people get hungry enough to eat the rich people.

You could pay your mortgage from one single job and afford to actually buy a home back then. Now you have to have at least 2 jobs just to pay the rent as buying a home is just so far out of most people's reach. The low end jobs are not guaranteed and a boss can fire you anytime. Just apply for the job. If you dont get it, ask the manager why you weren't chosen since you're obviously qualified. If you do get it, say, "now pay me what my new position is worth"

Exactly, one company comes to mind American Family Insurance. They treat their new customers the same way, giving them huge discounts while people that have been insured with them for 30 years pay for all the new customers who have 2-3 accidents and claims a year.

This is NOT all about the Pandemic. This is ALL ABOUT CAPITALISM. How it doesn't serve nearly all people, just the Owner Class Masters. The Pandemic just made people realize that they CAN survive.

It's beautiful though... More people have the opportunity to go entrepreneurial. A friend of mine got tired of working for an HVAC company that didn't pay him out respect his time constraints (single father/full custody). He started his own. It effectively is removing marketshare away from the managerial class who want to live on others' labor.

I think Covid gave people time to stay home and rethink things. To work from home by online sales. Have you heard that Biden is letting the IRS into our bank accounts now by making the banks report any income of $600 a month or more. That's pretty much everyone. I think they know what's happening.

No mention of historically high CEO pay not being shared with employees.
@KnightGlint3 жыл бұрын
You're paid what the market says you're worth. Would you like to lower the wages at say Pfizer to 15 dollars an hour? So everyone at every level is making the same amount. The janitor makes the same amount as the person researching vaccines and other drugs. Would you like any one in any field to be paid the same amount as someone at McDonalds? At that point why would anyone work in any college degree field. Now even if you slashed a CEO's few million dollar salary, the average worker would not see a cent. The money would just be reallocated to other sectors of the company. I also highly doubt the raise would motivate a worker to work harder. Money does not motivate people, purpose motivates people.

@@KnightGlint Benefits, pay, and working conditions motivate people. Many companies are beholden to stockholders, not workers. Someone should be able to work a full-time service job and be able to afford rent and transportation, which they are not able to do in many parts of the country. The US has a huge income gap that is unsustainable.
