Lebanon is a really expensive place to live. Even to visit. Beautiful country though. But. Being rubbished by mismanagement. Literally. So sad to see. Whatever happened to going green? I understand it now. Lebanon, Syria, Palestine and Jordan all used to be one open country. Lines of division were created by colonial imperialists. Will and could geographical lines ever go back to the way they were before? It seems impossible to think so.
@LeonElQueAmas4 жыл бұрын
Seyyed Naqvi That is not true. It was never an „open country“ altogether, except for the 20 years of French Mandate. But that’s about it. Under the ottomans division was even more pronounced than today.

Lebanon, the place where i was born, the place where i will always dream of having a future in, the place where nature was originally yet beautifully born, the place where people met the Cedar trees, the place where tourists from all over the world used to visit. I am not writer or something, but this is a small message from a teenager girl that always dreamed of having future in Lebanon. This is everyone’s dream in Lebanon, to live peacefully and to have just one day without any problems. I will not leave this country to people that are destroying Lebanon. Pray for the peace of Lebanon.

For many of us who don't know what is happening in Lebanon, we can now understand the degree of Political, Social and economic instability, acts of corruption and negligence that ended in tragedy, bringing with it a strong wave of explosions that shook this Tuesday, August 4, in the port from Beirut leaving at least 135 dead, more than 4,000 injured, in addition to widespread damage throughout the City due to the storage of 2,750 tons of ammonium nitrate stored in the Port of Beirut for six years without any supervision of tragic consequences both in terms of material, injured people and fatalities, while teams of rescuers continue to remove rubble in search of survivors, the Red Cross warned that more fatalities are expected, the injured exceed 5,000 and many fear that the most serious ones will swell the list of fatalities. As we watch the entire world in amazement, dumbfounded and pain. The Governor of Beirut, Maruan Abboud, also stated that there are still more than 100 people missing and more than 200,000 who have been made homeless. So much disgrace in the world due to negligence for not paying attention to what is important, many times they focus their attention on stupidities, even fake news, while there are acts of negligence and corruption that can end in tragedy like the one we are observing today in Beirut- Lebanon.

A desalination facility dedicated to watering the gifted Cedar trees and natural areas around the planting areas. These should be strategically placed planted forests to allow run off water to fill ground water sources. 4. Water filtration systems for municipalities and a citizen donated for citizen use water filter pitchers for home use.

@Moskat Kanze What's really holding South-Saharan Africans back are mostly very limited access to formal education & higher level job training. Christianity is NO part of this since it has no political element as found in Islam. The fact that China has been developing infrastructure & opening manufacturing plants has already made a big difference for many of these African countries.
@clementlumumba48244 жыл бұрын
@@Afrocanuk Sub-saharan Africa is usually a mixture of religions. Take Kenya for which has is Muslim while the other half is tribalistic Christianity.
@Afrocanuk4 жыл бұрын
@@clementlumumba4824 I prefer to say "South-Saharan" rather than Sub-Saharan" because "Sub" means "Under" as in Submarine. That part of Africa is actually south of the Sahara desert. And yes, I'm aware of the mixture of religions.

If there was no Hizbullah, and Iranian, no Palestinian that would convince the Lebanese citizens that the Israelis are enemies we would have peace and prosperity by now. imagine, Israeli hi-tech, beautiful Lebanon country and tourism, open land traffic from Africa to Europ. the possibilities are infinite. sham. if you will think of it we don't have any conflict with Lebanon, so why there is no pace? who is gaining from it?

I am just old enough to remember the early years of the Civil War in Lebanon. A couple years in the Palestinians joined and were shooting at the Israelis over the border and eventually the Israelis had enough and invaded (I think they were supported by the Christians back then). There was an attempt at peace keeping in the early 80's to try to calm things down which led to the terrorist attack on the US Marine barracks who were acting as peace keepers. Shortly after that the US left. As far as I can really remember Lebanon has been in rough shape with competing groups.. It seems like maybe there is a chance now Lebanon can get better if they can avoid those too far to the left and right...

The people are to blame. Lebanon is the only democracy in the Middle East and the people aren’t forced to vote for the elected scumbags in charge. No one in Lebanon is protesting for a better country. The protest started great and all it took, a couple weeks to see how easy and simple it is to buy the people and their votes. When the people learn to love their country before their party lords, the country will stand again. Pretty sad for our lebanese people to still believe and vote for the same thieves who have robbed the country every possible hope and dream. As we say in Lebanese: “ Law badda tchatteh, kenit ghayyamit”
@mobilegameplay31284 жыл бұрын
I think protest is a serious issue, so to portray the intensity of the situation I would recommend not to use any background music. And the presenter also seems very laid back; I am not stereotyping, but these small things destroyed my curiosity.

Afghanistan = Lebanon. Warlords backed by foreign powers who became billionaires feel they have a right to be part of the government. Want their sons and daughters in government, as ambassadors, ministers, mayors. It has perfect laws, the majority of its people love and respect each other, but when it comes to the government those same warlords fight for seats based on ethnicity as if they are representative of their people. Is there a worse human being on the planet than someone who puts his/her own interests before his/her country's?
