As for now, it's risky. Dana white won't take the gamble, knowing that it's not just JJ's GOAT status that's at stake, but the entire ufc reputation, cos Ngannou might kill JJ. Besides, JJ didn't run from Ngannou for 3 yrs, only to come and fight him now. He also doesn't want to be humbled by Tom

We all know what's going on with Jon Jones..... 😒 Jon wants NOTHING to do with Ngannou!! Jon wants nothing to do with Aspinall!! I keep on saying this.... Jon is NOT a heavyweight!! BUT There was an opportunity for Jon to win the HW Belt against The most favorable matchup in the division against someone with VERY limited grappling.. and he did it and won the belt If that fight with Stipe EVEN happens, it would be hilarious if Stipe beats Jon!!!

I feel like Malykhin makes the most sense for an MMA fight, the idea of Rico Verhoeven is interesting but I guess it have to be a sort of mixed rules fight like the first time Silva fought Cro-Cop but updated for the cage instead of the ring. If Bader can get back in W column he might have the most recognizable name to casual fans, but having said that, and I'm a Darth Bader fan, even I think he doesn't stand a chance and is likely another one punch knockout. Sadly most of the big name heavyweights and light heavyweights are in the UFC.

In the end whether he intended to or not Francis chose big money over a noteworthy future in MMA, considering his age, that's for the best.. There's little chance Dana works with him again, in this case I'd argue it's not about working with a different organization, it's more about the fighter himself. Dana holds grudges like that, Francis blew up much of Dana's plans at HW. He would have to be forced into making such a fight, and who's going to force him? There's nothing really interesting that's next for Francis. We might as well put that to bed.

This is what really bugs me about the Francis glaze, people try so hard to make him out to be a victim. He burned his own bridges in following pursuits that were entirely his own. You can't put that on the nefarious Dana monster.

I disagree Francis fought everyone in the division at the time and cleared the division. Stipe was known as the greatest HW Champ what did he get? Jones is the greatest LHW Champ what did he get. Francis got 40 million in 1 year 😂 probably more than Stipe, Jones, and Aspinall received during their entire UFC career
