Jump packs are to AUGMENT a low battery - not start vehicles repeatedly. 12.3 volts is ONLY about 30% charged - and the JNC 770 Is a GREAT jump box - we have had 5 in our auto business! They work better than most any other jump box made. We also use the NOCO jump boxes, and unlike the JNC - they cannot be recharged by the running vehicle. Take a lesson HOW to use the JNC770 and you will love it. Once you start the vehicle, let the vehicle recharge the jump box by letting the engine run with the jump box attached for a few minutes. Great boxes in our experience!

I have jumped backhoes off an diesel trucks with the jnc660 ... Mine worked flawless for 8 yrs batt is getting weak now going to get the 700r

Have had mine for just over two years in Alberta Canada. It has jumped between 10 and 15 cars during both our frigid winters (-30C) and our more pleasant seasons without failing once. Have boosted: Ford, Dodge and Chev trucks, a large camper van and numerous cars with zero problems at all. Any chance you picked up a Friday afternoon production unit?

I used to have the lead acid boost packs but lithium kicks ass. I ran a noco gb70 for two years with no complaints and now have the gb150 and it's good too. Use them frequently. Only prob I've had with the noco boosters is sometimes it sits there and clicks and the lights flash and you have to unhook a cable, use override button and reattach. Boosted everything from Hondas to v10 Fords down into the -30s. If it's really hot out or really cold out I don't leave them in my truck. That'll wreck lithium batteries

must be defective or something I've had a few JNC and many others and they always outlast every other jump box i have ever had and they have one of the best warranties of any jump pack

I have the 770 red and I keep it pugged in most of the time and charge it every 3 months so mine is great.

I have a few of the JNC770R jump packs for my towing company some work great and some are completely garbage. I’ve had ones working every day in the field for over five years no problems other ones don’t even last a month that you constantly have to charge them and they throw error codes. Oh and they won’t let you return them to ship them back to the manufacturer. But they can ship them to you. Makes no sense!

I mean, you aren't supposed to constantly repeatedly jump cars with these things. They're made for emergencies. My JNC 660 can do at least two cars in a row off one charge. I know cuz I've done that many times. (Chevy S10 and someone else's car). If you are at home you need to attach a trickle charger to your car battery. If your car battery is completely dead you need to replace it.

You brought a lemon the JNC Is the best ones in the market. Too bad you just bought a lemon you should've change it and gave them a second chance you would've be satisfied. One jump one start gets the job done.
