Vader, upon having his suit turned off, used the Force to manipulate the suit and retake control. Also he could use the Force to prevent his suit collapsing in on himself. I respectfully disagree. This fight requires alot of assumptions, like "do mitichlorines exist in the 616 universe?" and "is Vader's suit/cybernetics made of a ferrous metal?" So, lets go with the occam's razor approach and say both have full effectiveness of their powers against the other, defaulting to "yes" when it comes to a question on whether or not a power will work on the other. Since both of them can destroy the other with little to no effort with their mind alone, the fight immediately becomes a battle of perception, reaction, or a beyond visual range engagement.This is where Vader wins. Vadar has force senses, bordering on precondition. That's how jedi deflect blaster bolts. He can sense the presence of Magnito and force choke him across the galaxy. He doesn't even need to get close to Magnito. Magnito has no such extrasensory perception. While he may have some ability to affect beyond visual range targets with his power, he has nowhere near the ability of even a padawan in perception. Now if Professor X were to help Magnito, that's a different story.

Everyone seems to forget Vader WILL see the attack in the force about the same time Magneto even gets the idea and the guy can *also* crush a Star Destroyer with his mind. Magneto's helmet only protects him from mental attacks. It won't do jack against TK. Finally there's Magneto, himself. His own greatest weakness. We also know that within the context of what we know of the Force is that it resides in everything. Taking these facts into account would probably put both Magneto and Darth Vader on an even level of power application. Even if Darth Vader was less powerful than Magneto, his precognition would give him the ability to affect Magneto with total destruction before he had a chance to begin using his all powerful magnetic based attack upon Darth Vader. Honestly it comes down to who is seeking out who first. If Vador is seeking out Magneto, then he wouldn't need to see him, Magneto wouldn't know and snap goes Magneto's neck. Just maybe something you guys didn’t know or think about. like the fact that there is a dark side ability called force sphere that could possibly block magnetos attacks or that the metals in Anakin Lightsaber, or his suit are even magnetic material at all. It wouldn’t make sense for them for the Jedi to make suits and light sabers from magnetic material because then any magnet could pick up their lightsaber or any electronic thing they’re wearing, especially in the case of going to battle when you don’t know what could happen. A longish distance fight between those two would be the most interesting, magneto would probably still have a decent advantage unless you give Vader a serious tech “advantage”. Tech in the star wars universe may be advanced enough that a whole lot of things that should be impossible (and totally aren’t just plot holes) seem to happen all the time quite a lot of those appear to be similar to electromagnetic effects. There is a decent chance that the “metals” in Vader’s suit and lightsaber wouldn’t react as expected to Magneto’s powers, they aren’t ferromagnetic and don’t appear to conduct electricity like a metal would (otherwise Vader would have been pretty safe from force lightning sitting in his own personal faraday cage) Magneto doesn’t seem to be able to mess with non-conductive materials as quickly (depending on the writer) and a lot of the things Vader would be likely to try to crush him with would be similarly difficult to manipulate with magnetic fields. Why would Vader try mental manipulation or hitting the guy when he could just splatter him, Vader also has some force precognition. So less cut and dry but without the apparent weird physics of the galaxy far far away I agree Vader would be in big trouble.

That helmet only blocks telepaths, not telekinesis, so that plays no part in helping Magento win this fight. Vader's telekinesis is no different than Magento's control over magnesium, its just one controls magnetic fields and the other control pretty much anything. The only way Magento comes out of this alive, is if he completely rips the suit off of Vader pretty much right away. Yes, the light sabor is made of metal, but we just don't know if Magento's control over metal is more powerful than Vader's control using the force, they both are extremely powerful. Well then technically Jean Grey who is more powerful telekinetic than Vader could have always defended against Magneto's attacks but no, it's not that easy. Magneto is an energy manipulator not just magnetism, Vader still has his torso and head and Erik could reverse the blood flow or could stop the electrical impulses in his head. It's a chance.

@akshayssunil5653 First of all, stop making up powers for Magento. He is not an energy manipulator. He is a magnetic field manipulator, two completely different things. You can't name one instance where Magento has stopped the blood flow in anyone. Secondly, you have no who's telekinesis is more powerful between Jean and Vader being that there is no power scale between X-men and Starwars. Vader has been shown to use his powers across the galaxy. Neither Jean nor Magento has used their powers across earth unless the phenix force was involved. Lastly, Vader having metal throughout his body is his only weakness against Magento, and ripping it out of him is his only chance of winning

Magneto has gone up against more powerful beings than Vader and by your logic he goes down by force choke 😶😶😶. Also magneto can manipulate the gravity using his magnetic powers. @@Mrdavis0613 You said Vader is absolutely omega level as well and you think Magneto's power over magnetism, electricity and the electromagnetic spectrum is doubtful than Vader's power over force, what the hell! Actually Vader is not the most powerful force user in star wars but when it comes to magnetism magneto is the best. Yea I said energy manipulator but not in the level or sense of people like Vulcan and what I meant by energy manipulation is the electromagnetic spectrum not like he can control water, wind etc....
