So we should worship Judas who made the greater sacrifice?
@jimtilley60775 жыл бұрын
Texas chainsaw: I would love to have the ability to know what it is you are saying, Texas, but I cannot understand what in the world you are inferring! Judas did not make a sacrifice at all, he simply cut off the pain he was suffering emotionally, because he had sold His Best Friend for the price of a slave! Obviously, you have not the inner working of the Spirit, to explain to you what had occurred, and so I will tell you: In order to help Judas to trust people in general - Messiah could tell this was a very sore point with him - Yahushua asked him to be the one who would take care of the money that was often given to the Messiah for miracles He had performed to help people who were suffering from ailments and the like. In this way, Messiah wanted to help Judas to understand the concept of love for others, and how to trust others, who show you their love. However, at times, Judas had taken money from the communal purse for selfish reasons, without asking. Sadly, Judas did not learn this needed trust in friends and family. Judas always wanted to be considered a great thinker within the group, and so Haylale the devil to whom Judas was opened to, orchestrated in Judas' mind a plan whereby this could become a reality to the group and his Master: Haylale helped Judas to ascertain Yahushua would NEVER allow the Pharisees to trap Him, as Judas had seen the miracles Yahushua had often worked to help others, and so he went to rabbis and sought after 30 pieces of silver, telling them he would point Yahushua out to them, some night when He would be virtually alone save for the other 11, thinking this was a neat way to MAKE Yahushua come out in the open to the Pharisees, and take over as the King of the Jews, Judas actually thought his Master was indeed. Haylale convinced Judas this was a quick way to gain some silver, and too, bring the Messiah out in the open as King, saving himself, and taking command of the people. Because Judas was not a truly spiritually changed man, he could not understand any of the spiritual words Messiah had shared with the 12, and so he did not see that it had been planned in Heaven, before the Earth was made (see Ephesians 1: 4, KJV), that Yahushua came to the earth to become the Sacrificial Offering for all of humanity. He expected to help Messiah work miracles to be made free, when this was never something He would want to do, for the Saviour of humanity, MUST DIE AS HUMANITY! When Judas knew Yahushua was indeed going to be crucified, he tried to have the Pharisees take back the money he had gotten for the plan of turning the Saviour over to them in the night, and so having thrown the money back at them, he went into despair, and went out and hanged himself! Judas took his own life, because he was used as a pawn by Haylale, and instead of asking Father Yahuwah for forgiveness for his sinful mistake, he took his own life. I expect now that you see the story from the proper perspective, you see how unreasonable your suggestion was. All must study to show themselves approved unto Yahuwah Elohim, my friend, and so deeper study of the Sacred Scriptures, will give you more needful information that you too will become a blessed help to those who need it in times of struggles.

The sin of Judas is unforgivable beyond compare Judas knows the truth he knows that Jesus Christ is the only begotten of the Father he was with Jesus when Jesus performed so many miracles like seeing the blind, healed the lepers, risen the dead and many more and not only these Jesus called him to become one of his Apostles Jesus gave Judas a chance to be save and inherit the Kingdom of God but all of these good things he received from Jesus Christ all are nothings for him still he betrayed his master for only 30 pcs of silver. For the love of money Judas sold his lord which is planned and intentional while Peter due of fear and weakness of the flesh he was forced of the circumtances to denied his Lord although it not considered a big sin and pardonable unlike the sin of Judas which was planned and intentional.

People seek and find happiness down all sorts of avenues. Belief in a god is just one way. And what brings one person happiness may not work for someone else. It's a very predictable, assumptive, and frankly dishonest pitch from theists to present their particular faith as the only way to happiness and any alternative as a path to misery. Practically all faiths use this technique to convert or take advantage of unhappy people. And you can't tell me there are zero "believers" who are wealthy but also miserable. You're comment assumes only atheists can be those two things. Plenty of anecdotal evidence of people who leave their faith and feel joyful and better off for it. Very predictable and weak responses to this include: "they didn't have enough faith" OR "they weren't _true_ Christians" OR "they just wanted to sin" etc etc. Just out of curiosity, do you think a Hindu can be wealthy and "joyful"? Here is one answer: Aquinas argues that the answer to this question lies in God’s goodness and love. Aquinas notes that love and goodness are things that tend to spread themselves, so love provides a possible reason for why God would want to create. As infinite love, God most likely created to spread His goodness and love. If God did not create, how could anything have any idea of God's omnibenevolence? If God wants to create to spread His love, there are several implications for what He will create. For one, this purpose entails that God will create beings with intellects and wills. If God did not create beings with intellects, there would be no one to know Him. If God did not create beings with free will, there would be no one to freely choose and love Him. Moreover, if God wants His creatures to love Him, He must also create the world in a way so it communicates His divine attributes. Narcissism necessitates that someone has an unhealthy, unrealistic, egocentric view of himself or herself, and he or she undeservedly wants praise. Is it egocentric for God to create to spread love, moreover, His perfect love? Is it wrong for God to desire for His creatures to glorify Him because of the love He showed for them first? God is the perfect, all-knowing, all-powerful source of all life in the universe, and as creator, God deserves glory, praise, and love. God created the world for His glory in that He created the world for the purpose that humanity knows and loves Him. But best of all, His great love led Him to create a world sustainable for all the creatures that He created.

I recommend reading the book, “The Sovereignty Of God” by A.W. Pink. He thoroughly discusses this issue. Along reading this and other books, I understood (as best I could) how Luther and Calvin explained free will (or lack there of) and biblical predestination. A short little KZbin doesn’t really do justice to this topic because of course we are talking about GOD (the UNREACHABLE by our ANY of our own efforts). But even after grappling with infralapsarianism and supralapsarianism (and their variations), one should quickly realize that man will never totally figure out GOD otherwise He wouldn’t be GOD, right? The important thing to remember is that the GOD of Abraham is the only TRUE GOD and the only One who is the one and only GOOD. He is outside of all time and dimensions. We do best if we ponder the verse in Deuteronomy 29:29 “The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things that are revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do the words of this law.”

Sheep Dog Actually I totally agree with you about Romans 9. A thorough reading it without preconceived notions make it crystal clear. Indeed, GOD would have been perfectly just to have created Adam and Eve, allowed them to sin, and then immediately cast them into hell for all eternity. But I wrote what I said because people (including myself) are naturally lazy and wicked and want short quick answers. My role in life is simply to encourage to know the biblical Jesus and follow Him. If they want to dig deeper in the scriptures and know more about the riches of His Love, Grace, and Justice, then all the better. At a minimum everyone begins as babes in Christ drinking milk and in time should eat solid food (1 Corinthians 3:2 and elsewhere in the NT). In any case, the crux as to why God elected some to be with Him in eternity (and damned others) is found in Roman 9:23. Perhaps you aware of this quote from Jonathan Edwards (one heavy duty theologian): “The view of the misery of the damned will double the ardour of the love and gratitude of the saints of heaven.”

Reality check: Even in spite of your "supralapsarianism," I thank you for the splendid understanding coming forth from a man of Yahuwah Elohim, who knows the wonder and majesty of Him Who sits upon the Throne, and His Only Begotten Son, Yahushua, Who came to this Earth as Yahushua HaMashiach, thus He told the Earth: Yahuwah Is Salvation, and I AM His Messiah! There is none such as is the Father and the Son, as even the subtle lies of Matthew 28: 19, added unto the Scriptural parchments over the years, have been proven wrong, because the WICKED cannot see that which the Righteous are able to see, and thus cannot be above the works of Him Who will be what He will be! John was chosen to deflate those words, by these: “Who is a liar but he that denies that Yahushua is the Messiah? He is antichrist, that denies the Father and the Son. 23: Whosoever denies the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledges the Son hath the Father also. 24: Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father” (1John 2: 22 - 24, KJV, Name changes & verbal modernization mine); “And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world” (1John 4: 14, KJV). It is good to realize as well, throughout Acts, none baptized in the Names of Father, Son, and Holy Ghost/Spirit. All baptized in disobedience to Messiah's words of Matthew 28: 19, in baptizing in the Name of Yahushua Messiah. The truth shall set us free, dear brother, and the TRUTH will appear before the Son appears in the sky, at His Second Coming, and as the words of Paul in 2Thessalonians 2: 8 tells us, at THAT SAME TIME, the Wicked shall all be destroyed by the power of Messiah appearing! Rapture does not occur, without the Wicked being destroyed all at the same time! HalleluYah!

Reality Check, think of a man, a mere human, who has ten children. He chooses to put eight in one cage and two in another cage, side by side. He lavishes two with love and tortures the other eight. When the eight object, he tells them that their misery makes the other two more appreciative of his love and care. We all have a sense of right and wrong(morals), I believe, and it's not culturally derived, but given by God. Any sensible man would have a problem with an individual who would do such a thing, and certainly question why our sovereign, God, who is love, would do the same. God does not object to our struggles and questions, as the Bible says. I understand, fully, why an atheist or any other human being or devout Christian would have questions about these issues. I trust you do as well.

Frank Turek's logic is as follows: 1. God gives people free will. 2. People with free will sin. 3. Therefore, people sin. The problem with this reasoning is that (2) is demonstrably false, because the free will to do something doesn't imply they will do it. For example, I have the free will to eat poop, but I won't ever do that, well hopefully not.

Something to think about... allowing man to disobey allows God to demonstrate how vast his love, grace, and mercy is to... Angels and humans. How else would you grasp what type of God created all things. How would you know His character if you didn't fall short. Our love (character)is not measured by how we love those that are easy to love but rather how we are with difficult people. This is why Jesus said "what Profits you to speak to those who only speak to you"...sorry, but no credit for being nice to the nice. Mike A What you’re saying makes no sense. Showing favoritism? How does creating everyone obedient she that? If anything it’s favoritism by making those who are doomed to hell and those that aren’t. He’s literally done that already just look at Cain and Able. And He created those people to kill as you suggest so is it really “Justice” if they were determined to do such things to land themselves in Hell without having any influence before they were born? Does Judas really deserve Hell if it was in God’s plan for him to “betray” Jesus and take his own life for that story to be told? That’s not justice in my eyes. I still have faith in the Gospel but these are fair questions to ask that I haven’t had a good answer too.

JADiaz10 you say you still believe in the Gospel and yet you can't except what God does? I'm sorry if you can't except what he does. That same gospel says "his ways are beyond finding out". Since God created all things he can do whatever he what according to his good pleasure and will and purpose. He has mercy on whom he chooses to show mercy to. He is completely just in everything he does. Understand, there are things you will never understand about God. It's impossible for a finite being to fully understand and infinite being. Are you a follower of Christ? Another thing, is very sad to see that the Gospel is not enough for many. I don't need any questions answered to trust in God. If a person acknowledge that they are Center and that they need a savior and believe in Jesus Christ for their salvation. Christ is going to make all things new and those who believe and trust in him will have eternal life. The how, and who I leave up to God.

colin noble: That which you say here, colin, if it is indeed correct, which I am unsure of, would then mean, if you and Einstein are correct, would also bring forth elements of our following after the ways of a 6-year-old would too become beneficial to mankind, would it not? There is a reality to both these thoughts, but only due to the fact there is little of maliciousness in the mind and heart of the child. Again, IF Einstein did say these words, then in this statement he is unworthy of being among those men of the Earth, who is said to be truly intelligent! There is very little such an age can give to adult mankind other than our desire to have his hopefully gentility, and desire for the very best of his friends and family members. True depth of purpose and understanding of truth, does not come in the early years of a child's growth, but as a man ages, this is when true understanding and literal brilliance appears, so long as it is owned of modesty and a desire to learn more unto the dissolving of all mankind's hatred and variance among us. Yahushua Messiah showed us over a period of 3.5 years, that which few have shown over their whole lives, and this is the reason why there is no getting away from the truth of His life! HE IS THE TRUE MESSIAH OF THE EARTH! There are many skeptics concerning this, but the number in Billions shows us there is little we who doubt have to place true doubts upon. There is one grievous trouble with man as s/he ages: Often, we get hardened in our previous choices, because there are becoming fewer and fewer thinking men and women among us! Today, we have GANGS upon the earth, of those who do as they desire, and by so doing, they feel as in the past, they become gods, even as great men of old have been so described! Among the great men of old however, THERE IS NONE LIKE YAHUSHUA OF NAZARETH, and there will be a time not very long from this hour, when the earth will shake with the sound of His Voice, as He descends from the higher realms above us, and we will be either among those who will meet Him in the air, and so shall we ever be with our Master, and ALL THE REST WHO WILL NOT APPEAR IN THE AIR WITH HIM, will be destroyed by the brightness of His coming [2Thessalonians 2: 8, KJV]. This will be the great separation, when those who have had a lifetime to learn the truth of the ages, will realize, they have given their time over into the hands of their own spiritual destroyer, and filled our time up, with things that pander unto the Earth, which at that time, would have been all but completely destroyed by the 7 Trumpets and the 7 Vials of the Book of Revelation! Again, I note for all to see, the words of the prophet Hosea: "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy Elohim, I will also forget thy children" (Hosea 4: 6, KJV).

In Scripture, the Saviour Yahushua HaMashiach spoke to the need for a sword, and I feel assured having more than one, would not have been frowned upon especially with the proximity of the pagan Romans to the Jews who had not strayed from the beauty of the Sacred Scriptures. THERE IS COMING, COLIN, and very soon - sooner than most people approximate - a total rearrangement to the former beauty of these United States, and the change will be instituted by the Vatican, for we are quite near to going back to the days when SUNDAY: pagan Rome was built upon pagan Sun worship, and Mithraism, and during the early 4th Century, under the family of Constantine especially in the 4th century, changed much about the way the True Elohim was looked up to in the Roman Kingdom. It is likely over the next 5 years by the speed of things occurring right now, Francis 1 will bring forth a Papal Bull which shall place starting with the United States, then moving all across Europe, and throughout the world, Sunday as a holiday for the Whole World. When this becomes law, then most will learn, they have been moved by force, from a free worship of he Creator God, to the Papacy. By that time, much of that which is being planned now, would have been finished, such that the Pope of Rome, shall settle into the Third Temple in Jerusalem, and then, the words of Paul will be understood by all: "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, EXCEPT THERE COME A FALLING AWAY FIRST, AND THAT MAN OF SIN BE REVEALED, THE SON OF PERDITION; 4: Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he as God SITS IN THE TEMPLE OF GOD, SHEWING HIMSELF THAT HE IS GOD. 5: Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? 6: And now ye know what withholds that he might be revealed in his time. 7: For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now lets will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8: And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming [i.e. Yahushua's Second Coming]: 9: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders [Meaning there will be a great happening masterminded by Haylale the devil, having to do with the Third Temple in Jerusalem in these last days of the earth's history! We are so close to this happening it is but a hairs-breath away], 10: And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11: And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie [They who have not the proper spiritual understanding, will choose another Saviour, thus losing their eternal souls!]: 12: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness" (2Thessalonians 2: 3 - 12, KJV, emphasis, Name changes, and inserts in brackets, mine). Considering the fact that we live in a physical world where all the available choices we can make are determined by our enviornment, then you can certainly blame God. He created the enviornment from which you base and carry out your choices, thus people cannot be held accountable for their choices because they didn't choose their enviornments. If we could freely choose our enviornments(or worlds), we would not make poor choices because we would create enviornments free from the objects, people, or ideas that are necessary to make bad choices. This leaves one possibility: God is not testing us. We are told it's a test and that we will be rewarded, but in reality, God finds it amusing to make us suffer. As believers, we trust (have faith) in Christ's act of redemption that we are saved from hell, and we seek to emulate Christ in this life, through sanctification. Conversely, unbelievers continue in sin, because asking such a question paints God as a being unworthy of trust, which ultimately gives these folks excuse to continue in their ungodly ways. Their thinking is: If God is that cruel, to create people who He already knows are destined for hell, then why have anything to do with such a god? But this is a poor agument to continue in unbelief. For as far as everyone is concerned, the unbeliever is given every opportunity for belief. Knowing the truth and rejecting it, leaves them without excuse; asking such a question to doubt God, gives them excuse. Just because God already knows our final destination does not remove our own personal responsibility.

Question: "If God knew that Adam and Eve would sin, why did He create them?" Answer: The Bible says that God created all things-including us-for Himself. He is glorified in His creation. “From him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen” (Romans 11:36). It may be hard to see how Adam and Eve’s falling into sin could bring glory to God. In fact, some might even wonder why, if God knew ahead of time all the trouble they would cause, He made them in the first place. God is omniscient (Psalm 139:1-6), and He knows the future (Isaiah 46:10). So He definitely knew that Adam and Eve would sin. But He created them anyway and gave them a free will with which they chose to sin. We must carefully note that Adam and Eve’s falling into sin does not mean that God is the author of sin or that He tempted them to sin (James 1:13). But the fall does serve the purpose of God’s overall plan for creation and mankind. If we consider what some theologians call the “meta-narrative” (or overarching storyline) of Scripture, we see that biblical history can be roughly divided into three main sections: 1) paradise (Genesis 1-2); 2) paradise lost (Genesis 3-Revelation 20); and 3) paradise regained (Revelation 21-22). By far the largest part of the narrative is devoted to the transition from paradise lost to paradise regained. At the center of this meta-narrative is the cross, which was planned from the very beginning (Acts 2:23). Reading Scripture carefully, we are led to the following conclusions: 1. The fall of mankind was foreknown by God. 2. The crucifixion of Christ, the atonement for God’s elect, was foreordained by God. 3. All people will one day glorify God (Psalm 86:9), and God purposes “to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ” (Ephesians 1:10). God’s purpose was to create a world in which His glory could be manifest in all its fullness. The glory of God is the overarching goal of creation. In fact, it is the overarching goal of everything He does. The universe was created to display God’s glory (Psalm 19:1), and the wrath of God is revealed against those who fail to glorify God (Romans 1:18-25). The world that best displays the glory of God is the world we have-a world that was allowed to fall, a world that was redeemed, a world that will be restored to its original perfection. God’s wrath and God’s mercy display the riches of His glory, but we cannot see either without the fall of mankind. We would never know grace if we had never needed grace. Therefore, all of God’s plan-including the fall, election, redemption, and atonement of mankind-serves the purpose of glorifying God. When man fell into sin, God’s mercy was immediately displayed in God’s not killing him on the spot. God’s grace was immediately evident in the covering He provided for their shame (Genesis 3:21). God’s patience and forbearance were later on display as mankind fell deeper and deeper into sin. God’s justice and wrath were on display when He sent the flood, and God’s mercy and grace were again demonstrated when He saved Noah and his family. God’s holy wrath and perfect justice will be seen in the future when He deals with Satan once and for all (Revelation 20:7-10). God’s glory is also revealed in His love (1 John 4:16). Our knowledge of God’s love comes from the Person and saving work of Jesus Christ in this fallen world. “This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him” (1 John 4:9). Had God decided not to create Adam and Eve, based on His knowledge of their fall-or had He made them automatons with no volition-we would never have truly known what love is. The ultimate exhibition of God’s glory was at the cross where His wrath, justice, and mercy met. The righteous judgment of all sin was executed at the cross, and God’s grace was on display in His Son’s words, “Father, forgive them” (Luke 23:34). God’s love and grace are manifest in those whom He has saved (John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8-10). In the end, God will be glorified as His chosen people worship Him for all eternity with the angels, and the wicked will also glorify God as His righteousness results in the eternal punishment of unrepentant sinners (Philippians 2:11). Without the fall of Adam and Eve, we would never know God’s justice, grace, mercy, or love. Some raise the objection that God’s foreknowledge and foreordination of the fall damages man’s freedom. In other words, if God created mankind with full knowledge of the impending fall into sin, how can man be responsible for his sin? The best answer to that question can be found in the Westminster Confession of Faith: “God, from all eternity, did, by the most wise and holy counsel of his own will, freely, and unchangeably ordain whatsoever comes to pass; yet so, as thereby neither is God the author of sin, nor is violence offered to the will of the creatures; nor is the liberty or contingency of second causes taken away, but rather established” (WFC, III.1) In other words, God ordains future events in such a way that our freedom and the working of secondary causes (e.g., laws of nature) are preserved. Theologians call this “concurrence.” God’s sovereign will flows concurrently with our free choices in such a way that our free choices always result in the carrying out of God’s will (by “free” we mean that our choices are not coerced by outside influences). It’s a complex interaction of wills and choices, but the Creator God can handle any amount of complexity. God foresaw Adam and Eve’s fall. He created them anyway, in His own image, to bring glory to Himself. They were given freedom to make choices. Even though they chose to disobey, their choice became the means by which God’s ultimate will was carried out and by which His full glory will be seen.

Father, exceedingly satisfied with His Son's selfless offering, accepted it, all the while BOTH knowing, this would eventually become the most difficult experience They would ever have to go through! This is part of the rule of lawful agapé, or if you will, our walking in selfless love, thus becoming fully obedient to the Royal Law, and the Decalogue of Ten Commandments: Even if something most odious to another comes to light, which IS INDEED selfless and to the eventual good of others, even the Elohim of Heaven, our Creators, have seen in this, although pain and suffering ensued possibly from the very time of the agreement spoken of in Ephesians 1: 4, neither Father or Son hesitated to do that which was right, choosing to take the responsibility for the sinfulness of mankind, because They could, rather than allowing all of those who after Adam and Eve choose to sin, would become sinful BY NATURE thereafter, and still on this Earth that could have a majority of people of the 7+ Billion, walking in sinlessness by the indwelling mind of Messiah Yahushua (see 1Corinthians 2: 14 - 16, KJV), sinlessness is still in the minority, and even within many so-called christian assemblies, it is being taught that "we need not walk in sinlessness, as Yahushua Messiah DID THAT AS US!" This conclusion is not true, and all who teach this falsehood, will know at the beginning of eternity, at the Second Coming of Yahushua, who they have been following in this falsehood, and their true destination for thinking thusly, even as time and time again, the Holy Spirit has tried to interact with these, to straighten out their thought-processes in the spiritual realm.

It's predetermined to God, just like a booker knows the outcome of a wrestling match. Some matches are scripted and some matches are left to wrestlers, but the outcome is always known.

What about the circumstances of your life, leading up to that decision. Believe it or not, not everyone is beloved of God. The bible says (God Speaking), "I will call those who were not beloved, beloved). That means that there are people today, whose lived can prove that God did not love them. Or rather, that they were not beloved, of God. Example, Esau and Jacob story. God hated Esau, and loved Jacob. And that was before either of them, were ever born, or did any evil. The bottom line is that, God reserves the right, to chose to either love, or hate any one of us. That may not go down well, with some people, who has figured this out and will have nothing to do with God, for rejecting them. Right now I know a family member like that. He said that he had been praying to God for years and God ?. Which makes me wonder, if god has destined some people, to go to hell?. Because if you create the circumstances for them to reject you and they do that, then why send them to hell?. On the other hand, real evil people rejects God, because they like to do evil. But the paradox is that I also see some really evil people that God favors. If those people ended up in hell, it is because they chose to go there. Life is unfair because some people, suffer on this earth and then ended up in hell. If they say no to God, they will end up in hell. No matter the miserable kind of life, God has allowed them to live. Can you blame them for wanting to reject God because of it?. Why did God not speak to that man, who has been praying to him for years? A man who wanted to know God, personally. In God's eyes, some people are like Esau to him. And others are like Jacob. Just like you cannot tell a human being, who to love. You also cannot tell God, who to love. It seemed that he has reserved that right, on who to love and who to hate. The scriptures says about God that, "He does as he please". Take it as that, God does as he please. That is why he says in another place in the bible, "I will call those who were not beloved, beloved". So this shows that there are some, who are beloved of God and some who are not.

I think this is answered quite clearly in Romans. It says right in there that all are created and only few are chosen. Some are designed in such a way as to do what they do in order that God may bring himself the most glory. We dont even have the right to ask God that kind of question, according to Paul. Romans 9: 19 You will say to me then, “Why does he still find fault? For who can resist his will?” 20 But who are you, O man, to answer back to God? Will what is molded say to its molder, “Why have you made me like this?” 21 Has the potter no right over the clay, to make out of the same lump one vessel for honorable use and another for dishonorable use? 22 What if God, desiring to show his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, 23 in order to make known the riches of his glory for vessels of mercy, which he has prepared beforehand for glory- 24 even us whom he has called, not from the Jews only but also from the Gentiles? Some are made for destruction, some for glory.

Imagine being an omnipotent being that creates people who he knows would sin (All Knowing Diety) and still punishes them for it
@Anon-zl4ne Жыл бұрын
That sounds like a diety created from the minds of men. Hence why I do not believe in a lot of what the scriptures state. God is not the angry, terrible tyrant that much of the Bible states He is. I trust in the Lord Jesus that speaks to me in my prayers.

I'm really having a crisis right now. I'm crying. I was raised in a catholic home so I always believed in God. I just started doubting and now I can't stop crying because I feel so bad for doubting. I'm looking for something to convince me but the truth is I just have to believe what I can't see. 💔

Go listen to William Lane Craig, Ravi Zacharias and John Lennox. It is okay to have questions and to have doubts. The real problem is to cease searching for answers. Pray to God to give you a reason to believe.

You decide you want to record a football game because you won’t be home to watch it, the next day you get home and get ready to watch the game when all of a sudden the results and score of the game gets texted to you by a buddy right before you hit play on the recorded game. Now you know what’s going to happen but you still want to watch the game to see the plays and all that even while knowing the final results. Do those football players you are watching have free will even though you know what’s gonna happen? Interesting analogy.

‘He can’t force people to love him, because “by definition”, love has to be freely given..’ First of all.. by who’s definition?? The dictionary?? And what is the first and greatest commandment?? ‘To love God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength’! And God let Judas act out the evil intentions of his heart, to bring about His plan! It was decreed from the beginning!

SpecialK 77 god says for everyone to love him but he still doesn’t force anyone because he loves us enough to give us free will. And forcing someone to love you isn’t true love because if you truly love someone you’ll let them not love you
