Star Wars has been and always will be the story of the Skywalkers. Star Wars needs new leadership badly. It’s been flop after flop , disappointment after disappointment. It’s their own fault they are losing money. At what point is the whole Dei messaging more important then turning a profit ?

Its not as much that there are some agendas, because representation is a good thing. Its that they check theyre boxes, and forget about the boxes that contribute to a good story. They cant 1, decide WHEN the story they want to tell is. And 2, what kind of story is worth telling and the fans want to see. They know what fans like. Disney made cline wars season 7, the bad batch, andor, and early mandalorian. They just keep trying to tell us what we will like. We want more rise of the empire era content. We want more after fall of the empire. We want old republic. We wsnt all of this because of what we know can be done with them due to star wars legends and comics. They need to understand theyre charachters, and more importantly, they need to understand the fans and what from the star wars and star wars legends mythos we enjoy.

Here’s the problem with the Star Wars universe. Star Wars is NOT Marvel, and Star Wars is NOT Star Trek. This means you CANNOT make dozens of Star Wars movies, TV shows and stand alone movie spinoffs. Star Wars has always been about the Hero’s Journey. Can you do a different movie featuring a different character, say a female character, that uses the Hero’s Journey as a story framework? Absolutely! However Rey’s journey in the Disney movies is not a hero’s journey. Instead, it was a hot, steaming, stinky mess!

Not necessary. Vader has shown up in a shit ton of projects and he’s been dead since 1983. Stop overusing him, just focus on another sith like Revan, Malgus, or Plaeguis. Or how about creating an original sith for a movie like, I don’t know, George Lucas did when he created the original trilogy.

At least Marvel has admitted that they had some stinkers and that they are actively working on fixing it. Star Wars however refuses to admit they have been digging their own grave and have been actively trying to upset fans.

You are wrong, most were excited by tbobf. That post credit scene at the end of mando season 2 was great. The footage suggested that it was going to be a Godfather thype of series. And that would have been great. But that's not what we had.

I liked Rey's arc of being alonw and not having a family to by the end of it accepting the the Resistance as new her family. Which is why I am eager to see her story continue post Rise of Skywalker
