15.11.2023 received from Thomann a new Fender Am Pro II Strat with aesthetic problems on the fretboard... really bad: deep scratches on the rosewood fingerboard at the nut with 2mm missing wood on the edge, bad poly coating sanding at the both edges frets 1-4. I was thinking to accept the aesthetics with the idea that with time, maybe I will lightly sand those edges and fill the scratches... but big surprise when, after few days the A string collapsed in the nut slot, ending up the lowest of the 6 strings and buzzing when plucked open... And now comes the Thomann part... I informed them, they offered a replacement. Sent back the guitar, arrived at service center... now is already the 4th day I haven't received any news. Meanwhile they run out of stock for that model. I've asked them to make a QC on the replacement giving some strong reasons... it looks that similar issues have been found on several guitars from Fender in Europe and I feel, that not making their own QC, I am playing at big money lottery... maybe I get lucky to get the "Fender-certified quality assurance" instrument... maybe not...

Wow yeah that sounds like a typical Thomann problem. Had the same problem a couple of times. Hope you will receive a proper working guitar!
