I don't think Shelly wants to be proven wrong, because I feel like, when her husband died, she kinda used this conspiracy theory to cope with the loss of her husband, and she just used all of her time and resources to research this topic, and just convince her self that this was true. But she may have just wanted to believe in sort of the same thing as her husband because she didn't want to let go of him. Of course, this could all be wrong, and she could just truly believe this theory, and it may have nothing to do with her husband, but who knows?

On Earth, gravity gives weight to physical objects and causes the ocean tides. The force of Earth's gravity is the result of the planets mass and density - 5.97237 × 1024 kg (1.31668×1025 lbs) and 5.514 g/cm3, respectively. This results in Earth having a gravitational strength of 9.8 m/s² close to the surface (also known as 1 g), which naturally decreases the farther away one is from the surface. In addition, the force of gravity on Earth actually changes depending on where you're standing on it. The first reason is because the Earth is rotating. However, since the station is in a state of free fall (and also in the vacuum of space) objects and astronauts aboard the ISS are capable of floating around. Basically, since everything aboard the station is falling at the same rate towards the Earth, those aboard the ISS have the feeling of being weightless - even though they still weight about 90% of what they would on Earth's surface.

Sorry it aint no ball. ln geometry a sphere is only the surface of the sphere, and not the substance inside inside the sphere. whaeras a ball is the surface and the all stuff inbetween, its called 2 sphere and a 3 ball, because a sphere a is a 2 dimensional object emmbedded in a 3 dimensional space that you are supported to believe is possible, wheareas a 3 dimensional ball such a bowling ball is solid, but a 2 sphere in maths is a 2 dimensional object which is only talking about the surface of the object and you are supposed as mathematician to think it is possible, you can have a curved surface but you dont need to worry about what its curving into, you are mathematical looking at that as 2 dimensional surface and the properties of that surface but dont worry about the fact that in reality it would need to curve into something.
