They do it because it goes viral and the man is not here to respond. That is why they don't diss Nas or Eminem. Pac would write a song on the shitter and destroy these kids career with a song made in 3 minutes. I however place a lot of blame on the estate. Pac could still be relevant but they kept 200 plus unreleased songs in the vault since 2006. And let's be honest, they made alot of shitty and censored remixes that were missing tons of pacs vocals. If they would have released polished versions of the songs with the tracklist he picked out (over 45 known tracklist), I think there would be more respect because his posthumous albums would have been better perceived. Some of his unreleased concepts were on par with Makaveli.

I have so much respect for Pac. I remember growing up before he got with Death Row, he would be around the city Los Angeles rolling by himself. He was so nice and he would always speak and smile. Real genuine guy. First celebrity I shed a tear for when he passed literally felt that in my soul. Driving home from college on the 405 and they said Pac gone on the radio. I pulled over and cried.

I think the most impressive thing about Pac is that he was 25 when he died. Take that in. If Kendrick died when Tupac did, GKMC would have been a posthumous album. Tupac released all of those classics and made the social impact by the time he was 25. It's actually really fucking impressive. That's why I sort of think it's gonna be near impossible to replicate what he did. It's certainly possible for people to surpass him but they won't be able to do what he did by the time they were 25. Plus Lil Xan is 21. I'm 23, I don't think it's really a generational gap. Tons of young people love Pac that's why we still talk about him to this day. Many other legends from that era are forgotten

This dude had presidents and senators after him if you’re talking talking someone who’s a threat. What makes rappers of today worse is when you’re trying to start beef with a ghost. We can't blame the fact that they are young. I'm 17, white as shit and from Canada. I don't personally listen to Tupac's music, since it's not my style as I like a more vibe-y type of rap. The thing is, even if I'm young and don't really like his music, I have nothing but respect for Pac and the thing he has accomplished. He's a pillar of hip-hop, and when coming into the genre, you can't disrespect a legend by saying he's boring and that he has no clout EVEN if you don't like his music. Lil Xan deserves what people tell him for what he said in that interview, this only shows he's coming into hip-hop for the $$$ and that he doesn't give a fuck about the culture. Lmao Pac got shot like 4 times at the quad studio and the man pulled up in court in a wheelchair HOURS after that.

I use to say fuck Tupac just because I was listening to the new style of music but when I decided to really go back and listen to what Tupac had to say it really made me change my mind. Tupac really is a legend and my new generation should take a few lessons on how to spit because it’s garbage compared to anybody during the 90s. It’s not the old heads fault or anybody’s, just ignorance and lack of knowledge. Then again these new rappers be selling they souls (Lil Uzi Vert) so they can’t relate to Pac. The rappers now make songs for the party but Pac made songs for the mind and soul.

Etascope the principle or value of respecting your elders and the one who’ve come before is slowly disintegrating in all aspects of society. Before in Hip Hop the value was a cornerstone with guys like KRS ONE shouting out Kool Herc, Bambaataa, etc.. on tracks. And then guys like Nas doing the same. Even collabin’ with them to show respect like Nas did with G Rap on “Fast Life”. It’s just the sign of the times in general.

2pac is such an artistic monolith in hip hop culture. Youth culture has always pushed against what came before. It’s usually part of marking their own territory. It’s just tribal. A lot of these comments seem over the top, but it’s just young rappers trying to be controversial to get a reaction. I remember 2pac doing exactly the same thing. 2pacs popularity speaks for itself. That's why they don't go after Legends who are still alive because they have a chance of getting their career ended before it even begins. T. Stamp I've never heard of any of the people that they're talking about in this video let alone give a fuck that they said shit about Tupac. The only time I ever hear about Mumble rappers like that is if they do something the majority of old heads disagree with like talk shit on Tupac or say they're the greatest rapper of all time blah blah blah and then I never hear of them again they're just a flash-in-the-pan. Tupac has been dead for how long now and people still bumping his shit and calling him the goat. I'll tell you what in 5 years if little Tylenol and little pistol starter are still around then we can talk about what they contributed to hip hop in that small amount of time and see if they're accolades can come close. Until then Tupac's Legacy and claim to the crown has been cemented and no amount of shit talking by unknown Mumble rappers will change that no matter how many likes or retweets they get on Instagram or whatever and that's the reason why they hate on em.

T. Stamp Lmao Lil yachty I heard of here and there the other kid never until this video. if this is your kind of music though that's good for you I'm not judging. just the people in my circles we don't fuck with Mumble rap like that. And like I said the only reason why I'm hearing about him now is because he said something "edgy" that's getting people all riled up. I'm not hearing about him because everyone saying he has skill, I'm not hearing about him because he's the next big thing. I'm hearing about him because he said something stupid and that's about it. And that's the thing about a lot of these new artists. it's easier to do or say something "edgy" and go viral and be known for a couple seconds then to do what pac did and with skill and be known for a long amount of time. you see what I'm getting at? so I'm not going to get mad at someone who's not going to be around the next year or two. let him have his little 10 minutes of fame and Fade Out Into Obscurity just like the rest and a couple months from now we'll be talking about the next flash in the pan that said they're better than Pac.

And as much as they're saying on this video they hate these type of rappers they are also personally responsible for them sticking around as long as they do because they keep "feeding the trolls" It's just like Rude Jude said whenever someone says something stupid you should pay him no mind and keep it moving but no, they jump right on it. why? because it gets clicks, it gets views, and it's entertaining to see people hate on them. People just love that mob mentality in comments sections like this and it wouldn't be as entertaining if we all agreed on the same thing right hence why they keep feeding trolls and keeping them in the spotlight.

This type develops a loyal fanbase, and generally lasts longer.

It's because Pac is single handedly the most revered figure in hip-hop history, moreso than any other rapper, and is basically somewhat of a Messiah. It's hard to live up to that expectation if you're visiting his music for the first time

Pac was an artist, pure and simple. You can argue about his street cred, his lyrical ability, his sexuality, his message, but you can never argue that he wasn't an artist. If you listen to his whole catalog, no matter if you're black, white, brown, yellow, red, blue, green or purple you'll find something that you connect with. Wether its a song about the struggles of growing up in poverty, or a song about partying, Pac was able to reach people and connect with them, and that is what makes him great. One could argue that 2Pac died because being the powerful artist he was, he couldn't help but try to make his art imitate his life, and his life imitate his art.

Raul Rodriguez Nope, music is not a casuational factor in people dying. The causational factor is the person that decided to take their life. I've had beef with others. We've exchanged our tone. Neither me nor them is dead. That's because we chose not to kill each other. It's called mutuality. So stop with the bullshit correlations and causational fallacy.

To me, it’s always been pretty obvious that people go after Pac cause he’s dead. These kids wouldn’t step a toe over the line on Jay-Z or Eminem because they are still around and If you start smoke with them they can still come down and crush their little career. They go after Pac because it’s an easy way to get attention with very little repercussions. If Pac was still around they’d talk down on Biggie, it’s a big target that can’t fight back and that’s all they’re looking for.

Atticus Lee True. And most of these new guys don't even write their own shit. They go after Jayz, Nas or Eminem they'll get smoked. Rap battles against these legends........ they won't stand a chance. These are just attention seeking methods. Even they know, their music sucks and they can't be revelant for a longer time. Great artists support and respect art. Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Chance the Rapper the won't say anything like this. That's why they are great.

Ehhhhh. SOME of these kids hate PAC. But most or all the top hip hop artist currently and coming up are greatly influenced by him and have a great reverence for PAC. It's just a disconnect. Kids "hate" PAC for the same reason they hate Jordan. I blame the older generation and the ignorance of youth. It's not really their fault.

Darrel Be I was going to say something similar. These young people today have no scope of anything outside their circle and 2 years back. That's why the intelligence level is dropping as we see thru today's lyrics. And I do think it's the fault of the older generation right before them. Whoever is raising them obviously taught them nothing about life. So here comes somebody with a cellphone, KZbin exposure, and a label ready to sucker them and these kids stay getting clowned. When you know nothing, you get suckered easily. But KZbin doesn't rank on intelligence or quality....it's just views. The labels see views. And the more views can get more access to dollars to sucker people. But as we see, they're not building no empires or legacy. These new artists barely building tents in their backyards. None of it lasts. So it is their ignorance and the older generation fault that's raising them. Now, with that being said, Drake's lyrics suck. God's Plan is so elementary and light weight like I'm hungry in 2 hours right after eating McDonald's. But Drake was/is smart....he's built some sort of legacy doing what he does with the acting and philanthropy included. But these little boy and little girl rappers will be forgotten about.

In the age of the Internet, where everything is pretty much a click away, Absolute ignorance is inexcusable. When all you have to say to yourself is "lemme go on Spotify and check a Pac playlist and formulate an opinion" cause that is the word people like to throw around these days "opinion", it really is the youth's fault.

Honestly these dudes saying this shit cause he is dead you don't see any other legends being attacked. It's a attention seeking thing in my eyes. I mean if you look at people like Nas or Snoop ( Granted Snoop has got some flak recently) and a bunch of OGs in rap. They don't get as much flak imo because they stay active in rap and place a helping hand in their community and help out their hood. I mean look at Warren G this dude has a week dedicated to him in Long Beach. Seriously if you hating on a dude who is helping you and your friends and family then that's on you. I'm positive Pac would be helping his community if he wasn't killed but that's life.

he did have plans to help his community, unfortunately he was taken from the scene. Hell, even Lil Jon his doing things for others as is pitbull. Its one thing to take shots as legends, its another thing take shots at legends who arent here to retaliate. You take shots at legends who are alive, you face consequences. Whatever happens, you either win or you disappear. YOu take shots at legends who are gone, you lose credibility with many in the community.

@jNdeeeeee
@jNdeeeeee 6 жыл бұрын
B Money that's just hating. The only rapper in the 90's that Joey can't touch in terms of technical ability and content is Nas, Andre and perhaps Redman. Joey is a better lyricist than Pac, no disrespect on Pac, and he has better overall content than Biggie, again no disrespect to Biggie. I mean no disrespect to the greats, but stop discrediting Joey. He is phenomenal, and would have definitely made a buzz for himself in the 90s. He's not touching Biggie's or Pac's legacy overall, but in point by point comparison, it won't be surprising to see that Joey is actually better in some aspects of rapping.

Bruce Leeds who's saying Joey is better than them? The problem with you old heads is you think that everybody is comparing them to the greats. You out here trying to compare the strongest substance of each rapper then try to compare them to Joey. Do you know how dumb that sounds? Stop living off nostalgia. Nobody is saying that Joey is better than them, all Im saying is Joey is phenomenal in his own rights. Am I wrong when I said that Joey is better technical rapper than Pac? Am I wrong when I said that Joey had better content than Biggie?
@jNdeeeeee
@jNdeeeeee 6 жыл бұрын
Let me tell you how dumb your argument is. Who on that list has a better catalogue than Kanye? The answer is none. Does that mean Kanye is a better rapper than them? Hell no. You're trying to compare to one out the strongest upsides of multiple artists then try to compare them one by one to Joey's. Lol Be salty all you want, the thing is Joey has already shown enough talent to make it through the golden era. Not beat everyone, but to make it through.
