With looped supplies you can install it with the lower load setting enabled. Then change it once unlooped as DNO can take a while

Best place for a Type AC RCD is in the recycling. That house is not that old, I'm surprised its a looped supply.

An EVSE cannot be on a shared RCCB. The RCD must be dedicated to the EVSE.
