I've come here to hear the boomer takes. To think that we're better off in the UK compared to continental Europe is ludicrous. The problem we have in the UK is that we're putting up with a lot of crap of that sort (we harbour the worst islamists in Europe, we had the grooming gang scandal, and there is latent Black nationalism) and the authorities and politicians continue to ignore the problems and pretend multiculturalism is wonderful. Multiculturalism is not wonderful for the indigenous British people, particularly the English, whose culture is either demonised or derided. Multiculturalism is nothing the UK should be proud of.

The idea of multiculturalism is about 200 years before it's time. There are too many differences that are irreconcilable to my mind. Multiculturalism isn't what it says on the tin at all, it just leads to parallel societies living in disgust of each other. In the West its become even more pathogenic because the prevailing wind is blowing against the majority populations forced to absorb these cultures. This can ONLY lead to disaster.

Do these two gentlemen think that what happened with the sexual abuse of British women of different ethnicities by men from the Punjab and other countries contributes to a feeling that those in power do not care about unrestricted immigration? That anyone is entitled to enter Britain, regardless of criminal history or indication of religious fanaticism? In Canada we have no problems, yet in Europe where Merkel opened up the borders of Germany to anyone and other countries have done the same, there are far more problems with unrestricted immigration. What is wrong with having standards for immigration and for asylum seekers? It’s not about hatred, it is about caring about the people who you represent and the future of the country.

Europeans, in the sense of the racial and diverse ethnic groups who are disparaged globally under the collective term "White," were not the ones rioting in France or elsewhere. The people shouting, "fuck France!" and who said that they were there only for the passport and the social welfare were the ones rioting; namely, immigrants and the children of immigrants-primarily from Middle Eastern and African countries. Regardless of whether they are second or third generation "French" citizens, they are not French in the ways that matter most-that of historical, cultural, social, and civic connectedness. The immigrants remain separate, have chosen to remain separate, and are proud to be separate from the ethnic French. The same can be seen in the relationship between immigrants to Germany from similar Third World places and the, as the immigrants call them (quite derisively), "Biodeutsche." Such contingents, especially ones who have become so large that they have established parallel societies adjacent to the (for now) dominant ones of the nations they inhabit, make assimilation impossible. Europe is being changed and, in a larger sense, colonized by these immigrant groups. The failure of ethnic Europeans to realize this and act, swiftly and decisively, will merely serve to prove three things: History is both cyclical and deterministic. Oswald Spengler was a prophet. And Enoch was right.

What would happen to the rioters if they tried to do that sort of thing in Saudi? UAE? Turkey? Qatar? Or any other country which shares their ideology? We don't have to guess/speculate because we actually do know - all those countries have immigrant populations from the same countries as France - and they know there is zero tolerance for violent dissent there. They do it for three reasons: 1. Their Ideology demands that they conquer other lands and spread the ideology 2. They're encouraged to do it (by NGOs etc) 3. They can get away with it

There's a lot of unrest under the surface in the UK. 8 miles from me, a drunk/drugged up? driver mowed down ten people attending a carnival. About 18 miles away, Y11 students from local secondary schools attending a taster day in a sixth-form college went on the rampage, damaged toilets, graffitied walls and stole dangerous chemicals from a lab, which they then threw in a girl's face. That's just what I've heard of. Not everything gets reported, given the parlous state of local journalism. I'm from a town in Rochdale met. borough. I didn't know Roch. was a city.

There seems to be no consequences for rioters and looters ever. I'd like to sue the rioters and their relatives who destroyed Detroit back in the 60s for reparations. We must start demanding reparations from these communities for their insatiable violence and destruction they cause to normal people's lives. Reparation are the only answer. If they don't have the cash then they and their relatives can be indentured servants until they pay off their debts to normal people. Hopefully this will build up a work ethic and structure in them.

The central problem is the raising inequality due to neo-con liberal policies. In Germany, just like in France, it's basically the better-offs, the upper middle class, who are happy to open up the country for more migrants, while not giving a damn about the deterioration of the social net for everyone else. They completely accept and even support the ghettoization that follows from the simple fact that the migrants will move to the poorest regions, which keeps them away from their nice gated communities. This destroys the fabric of society, foremost in some less wealthy cities in conflicts among the "underclass", while it all makes the mostly protected "educated classes" feel ever better about themselves, as is often expressed in their virtuous politically correct speeches, and in all the huffing and puffing identity politics culture war "against the right-wing". It is them who are triggering the backlash that now inflames Europe. At the same time they continue to be the best and most loyal vassals of the US to fight against Russia to the last Ukrainian. It's a sad story, but it looks more and more like Europe has to first go up in flames before the so-called "progressive" elite begins to have some doubt and tries to think again how the Ukraine war can be stopped other than by more weapons and more war - and ultimately WW3, but by actual peace negotiations.

It is typical that Andrew Neil puts the previous demonstrations by the French on the same page as this violent one by the huge immigrant community. Well, the leading brains of consecutive French (just like British) governments filled up the country with immigrants to ensure a safe supply for the much idolised multicultural paradise. Have a look at ‘The 15 safest countries to live in’ . All of them have no or hardly any immigration. France, Germany and Britain say daily prayers for these unfortunate 15 countries deprived of the blessings of a multicultural paradise.

Ghetto is not an Americanism. It originated in Venice in the 1500s when jews were only permitted to live in a certain area of the City. The Nazis used the term when they herded the Jews of Warsaw together in a walled up portion of the City where they were starved to death, the survivors being eventually shipped off to the death camps. People with incompatible cultures, customs and religions are located in ghettos, its a long standing European tradition.

Now, based on broad empirical observations; unlike most other European countries, the French foreign service’s approach to democracy still retains a healthy amount of influence from both its monarchial and pre-World War roots. Non-French ethnics can have and keep citizenship, but they are de facto forced by the French government and French culture alike to live in the country’s infamous suburb-slums, the banlieues. Currently, the riots which have broken out in Paris (and erupted all over the country at varying degrees) after police killed a 17-year-old male. In In retrospect, when a similar situation occurred in 2005 -- there were also weeks of riots that were terrible. So we cannot be sure if the same will manifest from this situation. But it is worth looking into based on France’s unique demographic situation. Comparatively, the US is no stranger to issues of race, but there are constant conversations on the topic, and members of most minorities are represented throughout all levels of government. The French have not at all begun to figure that out yet. Hence, France deemed their ethnic conflict so extreme they had to redefine what “being French” meant. So whether you were Catalan, Basque, from Paris or Marseille; you were now just French. This made tracking and collecting ethnic data illegal and unconstitutional. So France doesn’t even know how big their racial problem is. As a consequence, they have just essentially institutionalized racism and created massive divides between urban centers and marginalized areas where these “second class citizens” live. Who lacking a proper understanding of the situation has made allocating resources outside of law enforcement a non-starter, further dividing the groups and adding tension to an already unstable situation. With that said, however -- for La France economic and physical security are intertwined with maintaining prestige and the idea that Paris is a serious global player; if France was a private company, we would be discussing this in terms of protecting brand reputation. That French concerns were so ignominiously swept aside by the US and UK, with Australia happily going along, was too great an assault on French perceptions of their global standing to let slide. Consequently, what progress the French have experienced in opening their hearts is largely limited to former imperial subjects who are Christian and who speak (perfect) French. Southeast Asians and especially Algerians most definitely are not feeling the love. Furthermore, it can be observed when gleaned closer, that -- in many ways, the French system takes the two types of racism most prevalent in the United States and applies the worst of both. In the American South, racism takes the form of, “We will mingle, but we are not equal.” In the American North, it is in the vein of, “We are equal, but we will not mingle.” In France, the targets of racism are out of sight and out of mind, consigned to ghettos and at the back of the line as regards government services. worldhistory.quora.com/https-www-quora-com-What-s-going-on-in-France-with-the-big-riots-lately-answer-Abdel-Fudadin?ch=3&oid=117732549&share=a1c3b88a&srid=3q1Rc&target_type=post
