Why do people get mad when these guys give an honest answer to the question? I’m a woman but I still think it’s ok for a guy to say he doesn’t like a lot of lipstick. He’s not saying a girl can’t wear it he’s just saying that he doesn’t find it appealing. Like the way guys think wearing a chain around their neck is cool and most girls don’t like it. If lipstick kept him from even considering a girl which otherwise he finds attractive then in that case he’s being dumb because not wearing lipstick is a pretty quick fix
@LadyGatha5 жыл бұрын
Yeah a lot of people will reply with wE dOnT wEaR LiPsTicK fOR bOyS but I think that doesn't mean guys can't have an opinion. For me it's the same when guys wear jeans that are too skinny, I just don't think that's appealing, but that doesn't mean everyone should stop wearing skinny jeans just to please girls.

@myewzek29135 жыл бұрын
Here’s my two cents on why people would be mad: - The question being asked is what they find confusing about girls. - He says he doesn’t understand why girls wear coloured lipstick because he doesn’t find it attractive and men generally don’t like that. - This insinuates that he believes girls wear lipstick for men and they just don’t seem to understand that men don’t like that, and women should understand that they shouldn’t wear lipstick in order to attract more men. He seems confused as to why they wouldn’t just do what men think is the most attractive. - This further insinuates that he believes girls do or should do things in order to please men - Whereas in reality the majority of girls wear lipstick for themselves and perhaps other girls, but rarely for men. - They would be upset at the notion that men still think a woman should act in order to please them. Which in my opinion is a stretch, and he probably didn’t mean any harm. But I can understand this perspective. Japan today is a lot more traditional than my society (and most of the commenters are speaking English so I wouldn’t be surprised if a good amount of them were from the west too) and so the idea that people over there still think like that is not very far fetched. But it’s a culture and as long as the people there aren’t being held there against their will, then there’s really not much to complain about.

So many people in the comment section saying 45-55kg the guy quoted for a 160cm girl is underweight is laughable. Those are healthy numbers especially in East-Asia, stop enforcing Western overweight standards. Both men and women in Japan weight less than their Western counterparts, its just a fact.
@BlueSwampyCraft6 жыл бұрын
ShibaPatrol yes, their bones are thinner that's why they also look more "little" and skinny and naturally because of that they weigh less
@Mari-hb5do6 жыл бұрын
ShibaPatrol yet, it depends on the person’s BODY TYPE still. because I’m studying in japan and have some chinese, korean as well as other east asian countries’ female classmates who are already quite thin for their height and age and want to lose even more. so, no it is NOT laughable. western bodies might be different but not everyone in east asia has the same body type either. there are still people going on dangerous diets, skipping meals and almost fainting/ putting their lives in danger because of the peer pressure.
@shibapatrol8016 жыл бұрын
@@Mari-hb5do Well no one is denying that there are girls who are relatively thin for their height wanting to lose more weight, that behavior is all around the developed world, nothing unique to Japan or East Asia. As for body types, I'm comparing Western average body type to Japanese body type which are significantly different. Keep in mind that East Asia (inc Japan) is incredibly homogeneous so we don't get nearly as much biological diversity compared to the West (inc body types). East Asia uses a adjusted BMI scale because they don't fit the standard BMI scale developed in the West, that's how different they are. East Asians tend to have higher body fat percentage compared to their Western counterparts and show signs of weight related issues at much lower weight than other races (hence the term skinny fat). So basically a girl in Japan who weighs 50kg at 160cm is equivalent to girl weighing 60kg in the West (health wise). Are there people who don't fit this mold? sure but most do, because its genetics. So when people complain that the guy has unrealistic standards they are not taking into account the biological differences. Its laughable because people push their Western centric point of view and think they are justified.

oh boy, that’s not only with japanese girls. in any country you go, you’ll find those that speak nicely in front of you and bad in the back. then again, those usually are frustrated with their lives or themselves. (I am a girl who’s been victim of that behavior and trust me when I say that due to this thing amongst others, I prefer friendships with guys most of the time. I have very few girl friends who’ve stayed true overtime due to this kind of brattish behavior. You want to say something, say it to my face, I shouldn’t have to deal with fake people yet people don’t get that point across their heads. being genuine nowadays is something people don’t know the meaning of. doesn’t mean guys won’t do it too, but from what I’ve seen it’s mostly girls who do it) on another note, the guy at 5:40 : good to hear that from him. I feel that after the university entrance exams’ scandal in japan recently - especially- it’s reassuring to hear opinions from the male crowd that revert to an equal approach towards both genders, career wise. Women are still seen, anywhere you go to, as if they’re just made to have kids and marry and be housewives most of the time and that needs to be changed. women are as capable as men of thinking and acting upon their responsibilities at the workplace, and therefore should have the same opportunity for higher positions as men do.

I love your videos 😍 . I think it’s soooo interesting to get to know the view of Japanese because when I studied japanese in Germany I met a lot of Japan gans in my course but I hated to see that they define Japan as only a Manga and Anime or Tea ceremony country. Back then I didn‘t know much more either but I never thought that that´s all. The most important to me was to get to know the people, how they behave and think. Students told me some informations like „japanese people donˋt like if you talk too much or ask too many questions or ask always „why“. I thought this is stupid because I had the best conversations with japanese friends and the question „why“ was never a problem. I think that Most of the people (in Düsseldorf) think they know everything. Because they read from books and hearing and perhaps some is true but it turned out so many times that they actually live in their dream bubble and know only the Klischees. Well, that´s why it is good to make own opinions, don’t believe everything you hear, do research and watch great videos like these:)

I absolutely love all these comments trying to hide their indirect negative remarks toward their opinions of the guys opinions on girls. You can clearly tell whether a comment is made by a guy or a girl on here based on how delicately crafted their opinions are to show case what they think of the guys opinions. It’s like they’re trying so hard to make it seem like the guys shouldn’t have negative opinions on specific things the girls commenting have interest in like “wearing tons of lipstick” and “wearing too much makeup”. They probably think “shit I do this and Japanese guys don’t like it so I have to reassure myself by telling other people that guys shouldn’t hold such a standard even though it makes sense but hurts my sense of fashion so I have to make it seem as if I’m ok with it when I’m really not”. Stop being so unconventionally egotistical and either speak what you believe or just don’t. It’s such a sad comment section as compared to the video with girls talking about their opinions on guys.

I really like the idea of that video but some guys are sooo annoying. First thing: girls don't put lipstick for boys. Or eyeliner, or shadows, or anything. We do it for us. Because we like it. Secound: I don't know where 45 kg is healthy when you are adult person. I have no idea why people say that their type is "this much kg". It's stupid and just not right. Third: girls can have short hair. Or shave sides. Or just shave all hair on head. It doesn't matter if guys like it. I had long hair and cut it. I was sooo happy and felt attractive, handsome. I have a little bit androgenous face and I was in love with my look!

This a video about BOYS opinions. For many including myself its disappointing when girls have short hair or too much make up, doesnt mean we think they cant do what they want.

let's be real a lot of girls wear makeup for boys or they are insecure about their looks because of high beauty standards...
@chrishudson95256 жыл бұрын
As it is the case that makeup is actually not healthy for your skin, and girls know this, yes, girls do wear makeup to attract boys. Otherwise you wouldn't do it.
@cozyreader6 жыл бұрын
@@chrishudson9525 I don't do it to impress anyone 😊. For a lot of girls it's form of expression. It's like art. I don't know, if you like to draw or something like that but imagine that face is a canvas and makeup is something that can decorate with. Yes, some girls use makeup to be more attractive for guys but most of us do it just because we want it. Because we want to feel more pretty, confident, because we like to try new kinds of makeup and things like that. We don't need guys to like it. And there is thing called skin care. We care for our skin before putting makeup, for example with toners, soaps, peelings, and base for makeup to not get in on bare skin without any barier. When we take off our makeup we have to do skincare again and use something to hydrate skin like some cream.
@chrishudson95256 жыл бұрын
@@cozyreader If makeup were analogous to art, then we would see much more variety. We don't. We don't see lipstick on foreheads, or eyeliner on ears, and fake eye lashes on mouths. Makeup application follows the rules of increasing sexual attractiveness. So whether you're aware of it or not, you are in fact attempting to look more attractive to other people, when you wear makeup.

4:03 thats normal for japan. The average BMI there for women is around 16 I believe, or maybe 18. It's much lower than countries such as US. being 45kg may sound light but its normal. Height matters too

@@marcox43 you could try to gain muscle through muscle milk or BCAA and a strong workout; these are just a few of the products that body builders use to gain mass. I just wanna say that as a female I also want to ask my fellow females the same question these guys asked since I'm actually curious as a simple gremlin whose gender cant be identified specially the question ( why do they gossip behind others backs? ) its also a very major question a have in my head sometimes as a very easygoing who doesn't like gossips I just really can't understand :'(. all of the reasons from the start to the last questions these guys had I also wanna ask my friends these questions since I also can't understand some of their attitude if go to straight forward on asking them they'll just think I'm being rude or smthng :)
