KraveBeauty ownership: KraveBeauty is my own skincare brand that I founded in December, 2017. While the thoughts and opinions that I share on my channel are always genuine, I must acknowledge the direct relationship that I have to KraveBeauty. Thank you for your continued support and understanding, I would not have been able to found KraveBeauty without my #PalmPalmFam.
My background: Please note that I'm not a healthcare professional or qualified cosmetic chemist. I do my best to quote credible sources, and bring perspectives from various expertise, and sometimes with the help of our research assistant team. But medical research is complex and I can't guarantee the information on this channel is error-free. So feel free to do your own research according to your skin & health concerns. I always welcome feedback to correct any misleading information. So please take this as entertainment and not as medical information.
Thank you for your support! Love, Liah x 🌴

So you say limit antibiotics, but my dermatologist prescribes me clindamycin which is an antibiotic literally meant to fight bacteria and stop bacteria from causing acne in my case.

I love kimchi and also take probiotics, although I take these for my IBS. I didn't know it was beneficial for skin as well

Hi! you mentioned IBS and i just had to ask; what’s your experience with onion and garlic? because i would love to start eating kimchi for my gut, but i am very hesitant because of the garlic in it. It’s like a dilemma; garlic acts like a prebiotic and should be good for your gut, but its also a huge trigger for many people with IBS. I know i could just try and see what happens, but my gut is so weird that’s it’s strangely difficult to figure out what’s what. So i just wanted to hear other people’s thoughts and experiences, sorry to bother you!

@@shewstea42 I actually never eat onions or garlic, as I'm not a fan of pungent things. I do love kimchi, I eat that and am fine with it, I think the amount of garlic used in ready made versions is very low. I find that trigger foods for me are certain high fibre foods like brown rice, oatmeal, persimmon fruits, beans especially kidney beans for some reason, but I am ok with Edamame, quinoa and chickpeas. It took a lot of trial and error for me to figure out what foods work and what doesn't. For onions, I never had a problem with those. It seems to be mostly very starchy or fibrous foods that trigger my symptoms.
