And we get kinetic impact from Homelander’s bull-charge punch be 1600 times the one of a military-grade railgun. In other words, Homelander can fly through the Great Wall of China that is made out of pure titanium as easily as a hot knife through butter. Also, in comics, Homelander can single-handedly lift a bridge with ease. That is 100 000 tons of weight which he can casually exert with leverage. Without leverage, Homelander in comics can finger-flick a jet as if it is a toy. So, in other words, Homelander can just fly into space and rocket straight down, leveling a mountain in one hit. Brightburn was able to pick up the SUV in flight. Granted he didn't go high but he only stopped because he wanted to not because he wasn't able to go higher. Homelander has admitted he can't use his super strength during flight. Also the fact his internal organs are vulnerable (as shown by Maeve with just a pencil) is an enormous weakness. The only reason Homelander got hurt in the ear was because the item was showed into him with super strength. For reference, Queen Maeve can dead stop an armoured truck at full speed with no blowback or damage. So, if Queen Maeve can just ignore an armoured truck as if it was a piece of paper thrown at her, she can very much do some railgun-like impact with every direction blow. So, it does not matter what the object was - if he got showed into Homelander with super strength (force = M*acceleration, therefore super-acceleration)… Homelander will be damaged. Likewise, if a speedster throws a metal needle into Earth with a 99.9% of speed of light, entire continent will be turned into dust. That is the logic there. Homelander is vulnerable to internal damage, but only if it is enough to hurt him externally as well.

He cannot APPLY force continuously in the air. Nothing stops Homelander from just accelerating and landing a direct hit with sheer momentum. Do not confuse force (m*a applied continuously) with momentum (m*v^2 applied for a fraction of a second). Railgun uses Mach 7 and can turn sheets of titanium into melted butter. Homelander can outwalk C4 explosion, putting him at Mach23+ (plus because he walks towards the explosion, saves the baby, walks away, saves Butcher and still outpaces the blast). So, Homelander is 3-4 times faster than a railgun shard, and 80+ times heavier. Kinetic impact is proportional to speed squared, and depends on the mass of an object. So, because it is speed squared, from speed difference alone, Homelander at full speed produces a force (3*3 or 4*4) 9-16 times greater than a railgun.. Now, instead of a small fero-magnetic metal shard, we have a grown adult with a normal ~80 kilograms body weight. So, for simplicity, let’s say Homelander weights 100 times the shard from railgun. Totally, we get the damage and destruction from Homelander collision at full speed to be 100*9 or 100*16 = 900-1600 TIMES GREATER THAN RAIL GUN. One railgun can reduce tank to rubble. It would be just one big hole, with little to no carcass left. Now imagine 1600 railguns fired simultaneously into the same object - THAT is what Homelander’s punch at maximum momentum would be comparable to. So, no. He can very much fly through mountain like a hot knife through butter. He cannot lift a mountain mid-air. But he 100% can destroy it.

He’s not even more mature. “The Boys” has abundantly demonstrated that the entire reason Homelander is dangerous is that he’s an overgrown child. His entitlement and petulance combined with superhuman abilities make him very hateable and very dangerous. Unless someone can demonstrate that power has anything to do with size or age, i’m not convinced that this prediction is even relevant, let alone accurate. It’s widely known that immature venomous snakes are more dangerous than mature snakes exactly because they don’t effectively mitigate the dosage of their venom. Their youth, inexperience and, frankly, irrational nature makes them more dangerous than adults that more carefully calculate risk vs reward. Otherwise I can just summon a Saitama argument and say that an average guy doing push-ups can solo both Homelander and Brightburn… whilst being one step away from crippling depression. Homelander in comics can lift 100 000 tons with one hand, swim in the sun and survive anything but a direct impact of a nuke (and we are not taking about the heat/radioactive shockwave - we are talking about minuscule 1 meter by 1 meter epicenter of the nuke that turns atoms into pure energy). Homelander in the show can move at Mach23+ casually, hard-stop armoured truck at full speed instantly with 0 difficulty (Maeve feat, who is weaker), tank Tzar bomb without injuries (Soldier Boy feat) etc. The only thing that came close to hurting him was a metal rod launched into him by a super strength (hence, super-acceleration) user. Anything less was just bruising. For reference, a speedster can shove a metal needle into the planet at 99.9% of the speed of light and turn a continent to dust instantly. Do not underestimate the impact of super-strength/speed. Brightburn has to look into a direction for a few seconds to melt something with his vision. Homelander can cut down a plane in a fraction of a second, as if was made of thin air all along. Homelander would just rush into him, punch a hole in the Brightburn and pull his spinal cord out. That is it. Brightburn has no feats whatsoever to make him anyhow vulnerable. Hell, Brightburn was CUT by a force applied by a regular human mom to an alien metal object.

He tries to move or even pick up the plane, good chance he just breaks it, planes are only designed to bear their load in very specific ways, it's reasonably likely he just punches through or breaks pieces off. And then it goes down in a way where it's obvious he tried and failed, and that's bad. And sure, he carried Maave off, but Maeve is a high end super. Normal people, even if he slowed down, might not survive, it'd be a long and tedious process where he kills some people, maybe most people, and that looks really bad.
