Greetings family. Thanks for all your comments & advice. This has been our family, friends & Air BnB home for the past 17years. It was a project that we wanted to do & did, there was no rush to finish it, & we’ve loved the whole journey of it. Raising our children there & living life to the fullest. It wasn’t hard work, because we took our time & enjoyed it. It’s time for change & more adventure. I know what Europe is like, been back & forward all over. I’ve also travelled 8 countries in Africa, setting up Projects there too. This is not click bait it’s me sharing my journey & who’s interested in hearing & seeing more part 2. 3 & maybe more is coming, then you’ll overstand my reason for leaving. For those who showed interest in buying the house you can always IG me @ ugoigo_travels. More love, good love, good life🌍

Brother I’m not Jamaican, I’m a Trinbagonion, living in the US. Things in the US, UK , Europe and around the world is about to change for the worse. War is going to break out soon with what is happening with Russia Ukraine and Israel. It is time for the immigrants to move back to their homeland and start preparing their gardens, planting their own food, which you seem to already have done. I don’t know what is trying to woo you away from your piece of paradise to send you to a place where you will experience much regrets. I don’t know your reasons for giving it all up to go and face uncertainty but you need to pray about this matter and rethink what you are about to do. Don’t make the worst mistake of your life. You can finish that home. Rent out the rooms to international visitors while living there on your own piece of paradise, that you have worked so hard on. Think long and hard before you make that final decision. Stay blessed.

I strongly agree. In Canada watching! I honestly believe the man had no planning on buildin his house so now, it is not in the right shape to live comfortably. The house is actually a mess and it would need good money to make it look like a real home. Honestly I believe he wants the money but, if I had the money I wouldn't buy it because, it was lack of planning and it doesn't look good.

I get why you’re selling you have ruined your beautiful house. It’s been badly designed, a decent architecture is worth his weight in gold. This is a great example sample of less is more. Instead of wasting millions building bad design you could have hired decent architect designers and built a beautiful home half the price. My advice don’t sell ? Rent different areas to oversea tenants. For example l am retired and a looking for a home in Jamaica for the winter months. It’s just me and my husband, we need a nice space and privacy. But your house on its own is too big. Plus we Wouldn’t want to stay in such a place on our own. The USA and Europe is getting ready for the worst it’s not a good time to let go of your legacy you could regret your decision very quickly. 🇬🇧🇯🇲🙏🏾🙏🩷🩵

My friend left Canada for good. She and her husband went back to Kenya, bought land, and started a big farm. They are doing well; making money, and living better than when they were in Canada. She said she wishes she had done this a long time ago. The West is going downhill right now. Is your wife European; white? Why would U want to go live in Europe with all the crap going on over there? People are homeless, cannot afford rent or a house. As soon as they make money, it goes straight back into the system. Half of the West is living paycheck to paycheck. Building a house that has taken 18 long years and is still not complete would be an overwhelming experience. Many people I know have gone through the same thing, and I wonder if what you're feeling is burnout. If it's just you or your spouse living in the house, then perhaps a 3 or 4-bedroom bungalow would have been a better choice. One of the main problems I've observed with my own family and friends is that they didn't have a clear vision when they started building their house. As a result, they now have around 7 plus unfinished bedrooms and only 1 or 2 livable ones even after a similar amount of time as yourself. You may have different reasons for moving, but there's nothing like the feeling of walking into a home that isn't a building site, and everything is already taken care of, and you feel content.

Nice property, Rent it, settle in Jamaica or go to England but still rent it , when you are ready to move back do so. Can't go wrong. Put security cameras outside so you can check it on your phone in England. Plant few fruit plants mangoes, orange, lime, plums etc..

Greetings Uncle, quite heart breaking to see & hear a elder manage to escape the slave plantation/open prison they call “not so Great Britain” it’s a shame that yourself and children are not able to put your heads, ideas and energy together to come up with a alternative solution however I’m trusting there must be a justifiable reason for such a U-turn therefore I’m sure it’s for the best ✊🏾 For information purposes where exactly is this amazingly beautiful location please?

Each time I reconsider taking the chance of returning home .....some unnecessary inhumane Atrocities re-occurs to chanege my mind again! being a retired Civil servant....in both Teaching/ Nursing; Jamaica have become TOO BARBARIC! AND I DO NOT NEED ANYONE telling me "Its Everywhere!" Jamaica is NOT JUST every where! This is "Jamaica" we used to be,"THE MOST caring, loving, resourceful creative , neighbourly human friendly nation, also, one of the Most EXOTIC PLACE IN THE WOLRD!" our women was safe.. Its unfortuneate you planning to leave , its a valuable real estate asset you posses. But none of us knows the reasons. Crime here in Jamaica is out of control, and the mindset of these youths are depraved and you living in that secluded place is not even safe. Living in Jamaica you have to be paranoid, and always watching your back, because the country reach a lawless level.

In foreign country in your older years, you going to feel like the four walls coming down on you, my dad would say that every day. He never leave the UK. He told me ,always have a place for yourself back home. Older age is not easy in the cold. You have a big yard to keep you moving around. Make wise decisions.
