I just finished watching your cockpit video of SAS on flight Radar 24, and I was shocked to see u again on a different channel ☺ and happy to see that you work for flight radar 24. I also do flight videos as well, but you are really good I must say, but I am a bit of an all-rounder in terms of travel and tourism. All I can say is Qatar Airways food just looks great from your video. Ironically, I am not a foodie whatsoever, but do travel business class. So with your glowing recommendation and video I do wish Qatar went were I go! Thanks - Jim

Their 777 suites I found rather uncomfortable, footwell very small - when you turn over legs hit IFE bottom. Crew saved the flight, amazing service as always.

As a platinum member i can only agree 😂 and yesterday when browsing for ticket cph-bkk in dec i could see they start fly the 350-900 on the route. Never seen it on that route before.

Love the comment about your lack of stress regarding configuration - I read so many negatives from those who have been Qatar'ed! My best Qatar flight was on a 788, however, must say the Qsuites double bed is fun!

Thanks! For me it's all about the mindset you go in with. Can make a big difference in the overall travel experience when there are bound to be changes/hiccups/disappointments along the way. But yeah for sure QSuites is the most fun!

I've been plat since jan 2020 (perfect covid timing) and fast forward QR only have one daily flight from Scandinavian cities at 08 AM. The rest is Finnair, its almost impossible to get a QR flight. How does that matter? Well Finnair flights are only codesharing and not qr metal, meaning a Platinum member will nog get access to Al Safwa.

Ah wow that sort of thing is so annoying. Since they're selling the AY and QR-operated flights to/from the Nordics interchangeably, they should be treated interchangeably from the passenger perspective. Instead we have to be penalized for their decision to offload some of their flying to a partner airline...

@@airedition yea it really grinds my gears.. First time i just thought the staff was not trained as I had an AY branded boarding pass, but after talkning to a "supervisor" i was just declined access to AS. It's mostly a problem on my return flight as when I depart from DOH to my destination that will 100% of the times be QR plates. You still have access to AM for some strange reason (if the logic would be the same I would be sent to the "business class" lounge / Oneworld. I was hoping the AY mess would be over once the A350 was back in service but noo. (Ironically AY have been flying the A350 all the time while QR legal Airbus stuff was going)
